Scratch that wasn't even there when I dropped it off.

Part 1: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' We took our truck on Nov 23 due to damage from a tree branch. Damage was minor on the hood, on top of the windshield and hardtop. My estimate was 8 days of labor and took over 4 months to get it back and because we asked for it. During the time they had our truck we found out they were driving it around without my consent. And no they weren't driving it around to the corner or to buy lunch. 2 months in we asked to see the mileage and realized it had a total of 465 MILES More than when we dropped it off! We asked to see the inside of the truck and my interior was super dirty! I found children mask and pharmacy paper from rite aide, chocolate on my doors, candy wrappers, sunflower seeds and chip crumbs! I guess they used my truck for a family trip!!! Mind you I don't have any children so my interior was new! We asked for an interior cleaning and junior agreed to pay for it. Well to make things worse while they did the interior cleaning the guy found a bullet under the driver seat. I guess they also took my truck either to shoot or to Barstow to shoot and go off-roading(it's a jeep). 4 months in we asked for the truck back and insurance said we can ask for the money they didn't use so we can take our truck else where and finish the job. So, Junior agreed to this. This money would pay for the hardtop he had not order yet! Mind you he tried buying a used one from offer up for half the price! And it will also cover to fix the paint in the hood since they had left two different reds! So, whatever he agreed to Zelle us and as of now we haven't heard from him! So now we had to open a claim with the business bureau and opened a small court claim. Thankfully, I am a very observant person and know my car very well and have more than enough evidence! We also found a new scratch under the passenger door and a scratch on my front bumper that were obviously done while they were driving it around! I am sure this isn't the first time they have done it too people! Don't let them do it to you too! Part 2: So yes they are very unprofessional with their clients. At one point Junior blocked my husbands phone number so he wouldn't get his calls or messages! Neither Junior nor his dad who is the owner of the bodyshop gave one shit about them being confronted about the mileage. He just said sorry and that he didn't know who did it. I am more than sure one of them did it! Wouldn't be surprised if it was the other brother Omar! They are also liars! So, every other week we would check In, it was a different date the truck would be ready and then when we went to see if it was ready he would just come up with an excuse. It was excuse after excuse! Until we told him to just be straight up and he said he had not order the top! Why because he obviously was planning to fix the one the old one and pocket the money! I guess this was his plan until we asked for the old top to sell it since we had a right to ask for it! So this was after the we found out about the mileage and was just waiting for the top to be change! So from this it took him about 2 months for him to tell us he had not order the hardtop and told us he was looking Into buying one from offer up! Obviously they are not honest people my husband and I gave them many opportunities to prove us they were honest people and always proved us wrong. Until the day we asked for the money back and he agreed to pay us and him even texting us telling us we would get the money this past Saturday he didn't! We sent another message telling him if we didn't receive the money we would start a claim and they obviously don't care for their business or clients! We were never rude to them or disrespectful! We were more than patient but i guess this is just the kind of people they are! I really hope no one else has to go through this, it's very stressful!

Great work on a bumper repair! I would definitely bring my car back to them. The owner kept in constant contact with me, letting me know how the car was looking as well. The price was pretty good as well, compared to the insane prices that dealerships and other places were quoting me.

I took this car to this body shop twice for both upgrades; one for the bumper and lip and the other for the trunk and wing. Galaxy Auto Haus did a great job for all aspects of the upgrade, from paint matching to panel fitment. I really can't tell that the paint on the bumper, trunk, and body are not from the same painting run; the color match on these panels is that good. Pricing was pretty fair and Honorio was very meticulous when it came to getting all of the details right. If I have another kind of project for a car like this, I know that these guys will get it done right.

UPDATE: It's fascinating how some people can lie straight to…read moreyour face. I never said this job should cost only $200-$300. What I said was that it would take approximately 2-3 hours to respray a bumper that is already removed and disassembled, and that only requires scuffing with a Scotch-Brite pad to create proper adhesion before spraying. Second, your estimator attempted to upsell full respraying of both fenders on a practically new 2024 Mazda CX-5 for $1,600, so please don't claim the quote was based on the vehicle's condition or imply that it is in poor shape. The car is literally new. This is a classic upselling tactic--you wouldn't even fully respray the panels; you would blend them and increase your profit at an astronomical price. The bumper itself requires virtually no preparation and at most 6-7 coats with 5-minute flash times, so my 2-3 hour estimate was generous. At the midpoint, I stated that $100 would go toward materials such as paint and clear coat. That figure is based on what I can purchase it for myself, as I received several quotes. I am not buying in bulk or leveraging large volumes the way you do, so my estimate is not far from reality. It's a small bumper overall. As for spray booth time--you don't have one, and you would never rent one for a job this small. An important detail: I know how to paint and understand exactly how this work is done. Overall, I requested an online quote first and sent photos in advance. That request was dodged. Instead, I was pushed to come in person--so additional, unnecessary labor I never asked for could be "found" to justify the price. Lastly, I never said the bumper was painted twice. It was professionally painted, but the pearl component did not turn out to my liking. I came to your shop because you claimed you had matched this color before, yet your estimator was unable to name a single model you had matched it on. Nor did you provide any proof that you were capable of doing so. I don't mind paying extra for work that has already been done correctly, but after seeing these tactics and reading outright false statements, I'm glad I walked away. The "obstacles" your estimator tried to create included: 1. Searching for minor hairline scratches to justify repainting two additional panels on a new vehicle 2. Claiming shops don't like it when parts are already prepped or disassembled 3. Taking photos to point out alleged color differences between panels on a new car

Updating my review after multiple visits…read more.. Hi, writing this post especially for the ladies... As an African American woman, it can sometimes feel uncomfortable going into auto shops without much knowledge about vehicles. However, if you're looking for a reliable body shop where you won't feel intimidated or pressured, this is the place. The team is friendly, professional, and easy to work with. Ask for Mark--you won't regret it. I originally found Aramex Body Shop during heavy rain in Los Angeles when my Tesla needed repairs, and that experience alone made me a customer. Since then, I've now been back a total of three times, including twice last year after two separate accidents involving my Tesla Model Y. The first accident last year I was rear-end on the freeway by a speeding driver and the second involved a rear end by a drunk driver while I was a passenger. Both accidents were not my fault, which made the situation even more stressful, but Mark handled everything smoothly. During the second repair, there was some back-and-forth with my insurance (State Farm), and the adjuster was giving pushback. Mark handled everything professionally and made sure my vehicle was repaired properly with the correct Tesla parts. That level of attention and advocacy really stood out. At one point, I was even out of the country, and Mark kept me updated the entire time through text (which I prefer), along with phone calls when needed. Communication was always clear, consistent, and convenient. He handled the follow-ups and made sure everything stayed on track, which took a lot of stress off me. Every time I've picked up my car, it looked like it just came off the showroom floor--honestly even better than when I brought it in. Mark is professional, thorough, reliable, and truly cares about his customers. He even followed up after pickup to make sure everything was good. This review is definitely long overdue, but I can confidently say I highly recommend Aramex Body Shop. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I only discovered it once I got home. When I confronted the shop owner, Pat, he admitted to the damages but communication from that point on became challenging and more difficult than it needed to be. There were long gaps without his response and at times the tone felt dismissive or unnecessarily tense, which made the situation even more stressful. I've made many attempts to work with Pat to find a fair and reasonable solution. To this day, I'm actually still waiting for a reply to my last message asking again to discuss a reasonable solution. After repeated non-responses and apathetic communication, it became clear that no compromise would be reached. The only option he is willing to offer is the one solution I clearly stated I'm not comfortable with: bringing my car back this same shop that damaged it in the first place. Given the damages my car received from 5 Stars Automotive, my hesitation is understandable. I even tried to negotiate a different solution by providing multiple repair estimates from other reputable auto shops and he responded by calling this practice "dishonest" (very ironic, I know). I'm leaving this review because I believe it's important to be transparent about my experience. I put my trust in this shop to restore my car's appearance, but instead I'm forced to deal with additional damages they caused.
