Drinks are the best in town, very tasty and creative. But at an affordable price. I wish I was able to make it by more often. Shout out to Brandy and Matt for making me feel so welcome.

Inside it kinds looked like a bar but there were tables and booths around along with outside seating. I thought the bathrooms were really nice, unique decor but fitting, spacious and comfortable. I was greeted by Peter, great guy, who took the time to explain to me what that all the food was vegan and non-GMO and answered all my questions about the menu. I ordered the Messy Sloppy burger which came with corn chowder soup and the Sloppy Mac and Cheese and they were not only delicious but hardy as well. Although the portions could've been a little more but it was pretty filling that I had to take the Mac and cheese in a Togo box. I would like to try more of their menu and it was a plus to know they make their own plant based protection except the few items that mention are made with Beyond Burger. But I was pleasantly surprised and definitely would like to come again.

My husband asked to have another table and she seemed happy to accommodate. The place was nearly empty after all. The vibe is pretty cool. It has cool old-timey brick walls and a tin ceiling ... Colorado mountain town feel for sure. Our server was friendly and professional. We ordered and got our drinks fairly quickly. My bloody mary was enjoyable. I ordered the breakfast quesadillas. They had a good amount of filling, eggs, crispy bacon, onion, pico de gallo. I asked for a side of extra pico. I was surprised that they don't have a salsa. Oh well. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito. It's his standard order. He says that of all the breakfast burritos he's eaten ... and it's an impressive amount ... this one was the best ever. The green chili that it was smothered in had a bit of heat which appreciated. The burrito was very generously stuffed. Best. Breakfast Burrito. Ever. WOW. That's quite the compliment. The prices were decent. Service quick. Food great. We'll be back.

This weekend though, I ordered the chicken and waffles, which was one of my favorites, check the previous photos, it was AMAZING! This time, with the new menu, I would not ever order them again. The chicken was a not close to what it used to be or could be on a sandwich and be worthy to serve, it less than a 1/2in thick including the breading, the small waffles were soggy, and it was just unappetizing to look at on top of it. The syrup saved it, but that's saying a lot as it's just syrup... I really was looking forward to the chicken and waffles that used to be here as that was the entire reason for brunch here today, and I'll not order this again if this is what it is now. The steak Benedict was great though and well enjoyed by my wife, she loved it and the steak was perfectly cooked. We've been here 15-20 times and this was the only disappointing time since the ownership change or whatever took place. Unfortunate as we love it here, but this was not at the level it was before.

It was so delightful to encounter such an enchanting subterranean bar and adjoining rooms and hideaway booths all embracing a whimsical Alice in Wonderland theme. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were busy but impressively friendly and attentive. The food coming out of the amazingly small but organized kitchen looked so impressive - definitely something we would try next time! We had and Ol' Fashioned and of course tried their signature drink, The White Rabbit: Our Signature Martini: Vanilla Vodka, Coconut Rum, and a Dash of Cream, Topped with a Flaming Marshmallow. The White Rabbit was spot on, such a treat and not too sweet.

If you're sitting at the bar you can see the window where your food comes up -- our salad and fries both sat there about ten minutes before anyone brought them the ten feet over to us. Not a huge deal, but it's a little cruddy sitting there thinking "I'm pretty sure that's ours" and waiting. The ambiance is very dark, with a lot of stairs up and down -- you head into sort of a basement-type area. Everything I saw was clean and nice. It's a cool, funky spot to take a date or hit for happy hour, so the vibe and ambiance are definitely spot on for that. Signature cocktails -- all fine. Not the best thing ever, but solid. I'd have them again. Side salad -- good. The ranch is made in house and very flavorful, and the salad was actually loaded with veggies. French fries with garlic aioli -- a bit of a letdown. We didn't even finish them. They came out okay, just a little dry, and the aioli itself wasn't very good -- we didn't really like it. Pro tip: The entrées looked pricey, which is why we stuck to snacking at the bar -- and after the fries came out, we were fine calling it there and eating elsewhere. Overall, would recommend for happy hour, and would return.
