The final result has three noticeably different colors and looks extremely uneven and incoherent. One section is yellowish, another is darker, and the overall color does not blend at all. During the process, they bleached my hair once, and then applied lightener directly onto my scalp without any protection, which caused my scalp to feel painful and irritated. After washing it out, my hair was clearly not light enough for the intended color, yet the just told me they can do nothing about it, and they tried to bleached it partly, but still it is not working. Then they went ahead and applied the color anyway. I was told "it will just be darker at the top," but the actual result looks far worse than that. What upset me most is that they never clearly explained what the realistic final result would be if my expectations could not be met. A professional salon should communicate honestly and let the client decide whether to proceed, and they should have told me at the beginning if they cannot do this service well. Instead, I was charged full price, and I added a 15% tip, despite being extremely unhappy with the outcome, and the total is about 534 but they did not give me receipt or anything with details of charges. This was a disappointing experience and felt very unprofessional. If you have dark hair, I would not recommend coming here for hair coloring.

A new customer (with balayage) showed up right away (either she was a walk-in or Sam double booked herself for the same time of my appointment) and Sam started working on new customer's coloring on another seat right by me. I saw her rushing. After 45 minutes(at 6pm), my scalp was burning and got itchy. And told her immediately about it, she told me it was only 35 minutes(not true) and she said that color can stay up to 35-40 minutes. She has never done this, usually washes my hair after 20-25 minutes. And she knows my scalp is sensitive because we had the same issue before with a shampoo she used. She had to change it. After all I paid $75 for bang trim and root touch up, tipped her 15%. I am hoping this was only one time issue and if they fix it I can update my reviews. Today my scalp is still itchy. I have to wash and see if it helps. UPDATE: Washing my hair next morning helped. Found out there are few spots never touched! Poor service this time.

It just feels like a place where great things happen. Booking was quick and easy through their online platform. I arrived early and was taken exactly at my appointment time for a haircut. I told Angela my priorities - I wanted to cut off as little as possible (a "baby trim" she called it) and I wanted to touch up my long layers. I was immediately at ease when I saw her take what can only be described as the tiniest snip off of my ends. She's skilled in her craft and is efficient with her time. I ended up with Alyssa because she was the first available but boy did I get lucky! I have super long, frizzy hair that had some old balayage from another, much more expensive salon. I wanted to get the dead ends off, cover my grays, and redo the color to be darker overall with the balayage being a chestnut reddish instead of icky yellowy blonde. Alyssa and I clicked right away and I had so much fun talking to her throughout, and I was so thankful she took the time to find the perfect color shades for me.
