The staff helping us were super friendly and patient and made the entire process super smooth! They also do repairs so if you have your own equipment that needs adjustments, they can help with that too! It's at a very convenient location about 10 minutes away from the actual resort and they close at 5pm (an hour after the resort closes) and they also have lockers outside if you do come back after they close. I hit a bit of misfortune with my boot, the boa lacing system actually broke while I was on the mountain. I fell a lot (likely attributed to inexperience) and actually fell while boarding the ski lift and the boa broke right off. When I went back to the store, the employees were very gracious and gave me a rain check for the next time I visit. They informed me that it's relatively rare for these to break and I believe it. I still had a great time. It was unlucky, but I'm excited for next time. I spent ~$35 for the boots and board and I was at Snow Valley all day.

We were arrived to a lovely welcome basket with a personal card. We loved staying in this cozy cabin that we found it hard to leave to go out and enjoy the snow. All amenities were provided, state of the art kitchen with several different types of coffee makers to cover all your coffee needs. We went during New Year's Eve weekend and loved that the cabin was decorated with a beautiful Christmas tree. The owners made themselves available to us the whole time we were there in the event we needed anything. The location of the cabin is central to the quaint town and downtown Lake Arrowhead an loved the neighborhood and private parking. The bedrooms were very comfortable, we were provided with extras of everything (i.e. pillows, blankets, bedding, etc.). The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and other amenities. We were able to play board games along with view a vast selection of DVD's for the nights we wanted to stay in and have family time. We are world travelers and can say we have high expectations whenever we stay somewhere and this cabin checked all the boxes. We will definitely be returning to the Duran cabin with our family and highly recommend it for your next cabin rental.

I travel quite a bit for work which requires me to stay in hotels regularly. For how long this place has been around, I feel like the condition of the rooms and cleanliness is on par with most places that are getting to the point of needing those bigger renovations and updates. Hotels can only do so much in terms of piecemeal repairs and updates, and anything near water tends to get battered by the elements a little bit more than other places. I look forward to the dock repairs, so I can get back to catching bluegill, crappie, trout, and bass with my boy. A lot of great memories here. I hope to keep them coming.
