let's start off with Chris at the front desk. He is very rude & racist. From the first day of me coming in to see about getting rims til the day they were returned. I admit I fell behind on the payment (1 month) but to come to my home and remove the valve stem on all 4 tires and use what looks like a knife to destroy the front driver rim (evidence is on Ring camera , residents that live here and property camera for the neighborhood) when I called Chris answered the phone and asked for my account information notifying me of the late payment and he admitted to the damages saying he would come out to replace the valve stems if I made a payment. I refused and told him to come and get the rims. He refused and hung up on me. Called back and spoke to David and told him everything that was going on and he notified me that the techs don't come in til 10am and soon as one arrives he would send one out to come pick up the rims and put my factory tires back on. Chris should not be employed and represent the company that's a bad look for business. It is now 3pm the tire tech and Chris arrived at 1130a to retrieve the rims. They have gone back and forth to the shop because apparently they stripped the lugs trying to take the rims off. Now Ryan and the tire tech have to come back with an air pump and then follow them back to the store so they can take the rim off there. This is an inconvenience & unprofessional. *Update arrived to the store and was in the bay with store manager David he started working on the tire with the stripped lug nut. He asked me to leave the bay because he didn't want to be recorded and attempted to shut the bay door. I told him I wanted to watch my car being serviced just as I did when the rims were put on and he told me that's impossible that anyone can sit in the bay. But I clearly sat on the couch that's inside the bay while I waited on for my the 1st time. So I go to the front waiting area and ask Chris for a copy of my file he notified me that Ryan had the file and would be back. I asked Chris is it the same files that were sitting in front of me with customers socials and he said yeah. (Violating customers privacy) David had to call another store and get help because he didn't have the right kit. Once the help arrived David notified me that the sensors I originally had on my factories had to be reordered and they would be here no later than Wednesday. Another inconvenience! 0 out of 5 stars. Recently had 24 inch rims and tires installed on my Chrysler 300. I came here and asked for 3 new tires, but received used tires. After driving away, I immediately noticed one of the tires were rubbing against something. When I brought it back in, no one would even make eye contact with me and were giving off a "that's your problem " vibe. Two days later, the seal popped on another one of the tires, as it was improperly installed. I went to have the tire replaced and they refused to replace the tire, and tried to charge me for a new one! This place is unprofessional, extremely over priced and have no idea what they are doing. Save yourself the trouble and go to a more credible location. I wouldn't trust them to install tires on a bike. read more

My wife and I got rims for both our vehicles, the next day our cars were shaking really bad. We took both cars back and they said it was a big gap between something with the rim and our tire. We had to wait a week for them to order a part to fix it. That was only 1 issue, next store manger David call the first day that our payment was due the threatening to come get the rims if we didn't make a pay. Keep in mind he called the day they were due before we could even attempt to make a payment. A week goes by and it's time for the next payment. I called the store to ask if I could have 2 extra days to come up with our payment due to the fact that I had recently been arrested and had to pay a lot to get out. I completely understand that there is not a grace period and David store manger told me no full payment was needed right then. I said fine I will just return mine and my wife's would need to be picked up due to her car breaking down. Due to work I wasn't able to have bring money back till 3 days later. At this point I already had the money to pay for both our rims and make full payment when another employee told me David could havejust agreed to the 2 day grace period. At that point I felt like David the store manger was just being unreasonable for no reason so I went ahead and returned mine and scheduled them to pick my wife's rims up on that coming Saturday. I pacifically stated Saturday so I would have time to get her factory tires out of storage and the store manger David took it upon himself to come a day Early while I'm at work to come get her rims when I had not got her tires out of storage yet. So when Saturday came which is they day we had scheduled no one came out at all. So the next business day I called and David had an attitude saying he had came out and we told him he couldn't get them yet due to her not having her factory tires. When I asked him about our prior agreement for Saturday he no longer wanted to talk to me and asked for my wife's number who was head on the contract. A week went by still no one should up till I had to call back again right after they tried to charge my account $220. And again this is after the fact they were told to come get the rims multiple times. The store manger David along made our experience the worst I have ever had dealing with any company. read more

Not so great work. Sold me tires that i think are too small. The rim is sticking out further than the tire. About 1/4inch all the way around. Not flush or close to flush. Since i paid cash for them (before i seen them on), didn't want to take them back. Also no hub rings were used so cars shakes, more so at 60mph. Still waiting for those to "come in". I am a Current Customer.....Although I do appreciate the service this Company offers there are a few things that I do not appreciate. The Customer service, The aggressiveness of the Customer service representatives, The Scare Tactics, and the Unethical practices. They will Run your Credit Cards without permission and they will take anything they want to take. It happened to me this morning!!! I have more to inform the public about when dealing with this company but I don't want to get too dirty with it. My partner had to drive there to pay for the deposit. On August 31st the rims arrived so my partner and I went just to get over with and see how it turned out on my partner's Scion xB and it turned out really good however these people who worked in the garage didn't do their job. I had to force myself to walk out around the back to see what they were doing. There was 3 people in the garage and were chatting. Didn't want to do their job. They were just walking around. After several trips back in the store and check out back one of them closed both garage doors because they knew I would come back to check what they were doing. We got there right before noon and the Scion finally pulled up around 3pm. If you don't have patience then we wouldn't recommend you to this place, if you have patience then we would recommend you to this place. Another 1 star dropped our huge concerned was the labor. We weren't sure if they charge for labor or not however if they do was probably why garage guys wanted to kill their time not doing their job because of labor. We paid to have it done, not for them to play around. We did research the rim set should be finish within an hour and 1 out of 3 guys in the garage should be able to replace. Over 3 hours wait was impossible so I told my partner about what happened in the garage and he was disgust about it. read more

I absolutely love RimTyme!!!!! I accompanied my boyfriend to the shop to get a new set of rims for his car. The manager, Miss Shanda, was so welcoming! She made sure I had nice hot cup of coffee while i waited and she even took me in the rim selection room and showed me around. She made me feel important and because of her kindness, i will be returning to purchase a set of custom rims from her specifically! 120 Days Same Cash Nightmare.. So I have to begin by saying that this review is just merely on the customer service that you may be needing a heads up on! If you are looking for the most UNPROFESSIONAL rim and tire place that Atlanta has to offer than this my fellow readers is your place. I have never experienced such an establishment as such. I first found out about this place just by doing some browsing on the internet and being new to the Atlanta area I stumbled upon what I thought would have been the best option to purchase my rims. After looking on the website I called into the store and spoke with one of the representatives by the name of Tye (manager) to inquire about how the process for the rims actually worked. I gave them a couple of different options on the style of rims I was interested in but was told that I would be contacted back once he was to call and see when he could have these rims in. I remember everything very clearly because I called in on a Friday afternoon and was told I would hear back from him by the middle of the following week. Never got a call.. STRIKE ONE... So I let some time pass (about a week) to only then drive down to the store and once again inquire on the rims that he was supposedly calling to see if were available. Now when I walked into the store I asked for Ty who then I again introduced myself and reminded him that I'm the customer he failed to contact back. But at this point I let the failure to follow up go. Let's get to business and just order these rims. Now my car requires a tricky set of rim options so it was a bit of a challenge to find the rims but once we did everything was fine and the rims I choose looked great. Fast forward to the day of getting the rims put on my car. I received a phone call again from Tye that day stating that my rims were in and to come on down to get them put on, he also asked about my current rims and did they have a sensor on them. I explained that yes my current tires/rims had a sensor so this information should have been delivered to the guys who were putting the rims on my car. After about 2 hours my rims were done, I get in my car only to find out that they DID NOT put my sensors on due to once again a FAILURE on the manger Tye's part.. STRIKE TWO! So guess what that meant? I had to waste gas/time and return the next day to have what should've been done right the first time done over again. Completely unacceptable but I played everything cool. Let's now speed up to STRIKE THREE.. The Strike that had me FURIOUS. I called in to make my normal payment and spoke with the only woman who works their forgot her name but asked her how much the payoff of my rims would be and informed her that I would be stopping in the following Saturday to make my final payment. She disclosed one amount but then when it came Saturday time to pay the rim's off there was an ERROR in the amount, which I will take ownership on not double checking the expiration of the 120 days but it's the common courtesy that if somebody calls in to make a payment and inquire about their payoff if you see in the system that it's close to that date why not give a disclosure that yes you may want to come in BEFORE this day. Simple right? Well no that wasn't the case. Payment was about close to $300 more because of the 120 expiring. And to add insult to injury it was off by maybe 3 days. I asked to speak with the manager. Well with my luck the GENERAL MANAGER by the name of Chris Hedgepath came over with the most nonchalant attitude basically telling me in so many words that "It is what it is, you need to read the agreement and that's that" Took every bone in my body not to cuss this man out, but i'm better than that. I asked for his card and told him to make sure I get my statement in the mail reflecting that I paid these rims off in full, It's been almost a month.. Do you think I've received it yet? NO! Who put these people as managers? I need this to go on record to the owner of this establishment so I can explain in even more detail all the FILTH that goes on in this place. Tye is a sorry excuse for a manager and the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree because look at the service and attitude I received from the General manager Chris.. Where do I start with these Numb-nuts!!! First off they told me that they stripped one lug nut on one rotor, but really it was two lug nuts. Their fix for me was for me to replace my rotor not that they was going to pay for it though. They tighten lug nuts so tight the key broke off trying to remove the nuts from the rims. This was the first tire, now the second tire had smaller nuts installed because they stripped out two more lugs in the rotor and they could not get correct size. Now when I was removing the lug nuts, I broke two keys trying to remove lug nuts. When I returned to the store they looked at me as it was my fault that the lug nuts was too tight!!!! WTF They told me the next key I will have to pay for it!! WTF!!! I had to re-tap the rotors to get the lug nuts in. I have three more lug nuts to remove, but I am afraid that the key will break again. I am going to the dealership to have the rotors fixed!!! TRYING TO KEEP MONEY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD!!! AND THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR MY TROUBLES. No manager talked to me about my problem just the salesman and it was not the salesman who sold me the rims. I guess they thought I was an rent-to-own customer; Shit I paid cash!!!! When I found out it was a rent-own I should have left!! I would not trust these NUMB-NUTS to replace my bicycle tire!!! IF YOU WANT BAD SERVICE AND SHIT WORK THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. read more

This place should be placed out of business! I bought some rims for my SUV and I had to contact them more than once on the arrival. When they told me that the rims had arrived I got to the Jonesborough, GA location to only find out that the rims were still in a warehouse. I took time of from my job to drive to this location and I had to wait 3 and 1/2 hours until the rims arrived. When the rims arrived I had to wait an additional 3 hours before they were done. Once I began to drive on the highway, I noticed a vibration and shake to my vehicle. I called rim tyme and they told me to bring the vehicle back. Luckily I have another vehicle so I brought the vehicle back the following week. Rim Tyme looked the vehicle over and determined that they needed to order some hub rings for the wheels. I had to wait an additional 4 more days and they didn't have the courtesy to call and inform that the rings had come in. I took the vehicle back once again while at work and this time they determined that the vehicle didn't need hub rings but Cadillac hub rings. I was so pissed being a retired Veteran and all but I remained cool as I looked at how you can be easily taken advantage of at some of these businesses. Once again as I left with the vehicle, the shaking started all over again. I took the vehicle back and the clueless jerks told me that they had to order a special device for my rims. I really wanted to smack the ish out of the guy but I maintained my bearing. They told me that they would contact me once they get the special device in. I took my vehicle to Butler Tires and Wheels and they informed me that Rim Tyme sold me rims that were already bent which is explains the shake in my vehicle. The Manager of Rim Tyme called me after I posted a comment about his business in Jonesborough, GA but I missed his call. I called him back and left a message but like you would expect, he never returned my call. I have informed all of my Military friends to do not take their vehicles to a Rim Tyme location because they are a total rip off. We didn't defend our country to be treated like the enemy but that's thet customer service that you receive from Rim Tyme. I wish that I would've checked out their BB review before I took my vehicle to Rim Tyme. Shout out to Butler Wheels for their superior customer skills and knowledge! read more

This is by far the worst experience that I've had with any business. My husband and I went to this place to pick out rims and explained that we were going through our insurance company (Geico) to purchase the rims. MOST people know that insurance companies provide payment via two party checks. We communicated for three days with this company, explaining to them that we would be paying by check. The morning that I took the check to them, no one told me that they did not accept checks. So 4 HOURS later- Tamika called and said the check is no good. Are you serious! It's a check from GEICO! So in turn I called Geico and inform them what she said. Geico of course keeps record on every conversation that they have with their customers. They were able to tell me who they spoke with and what time they spoke. They spoke with the general manager, I guess his name is Chris. So I called Chris and ask him about why he said the check was no good, Chris then states that the Geico representative told him that they couldn't confirm if the check was any good at the time. THIS WAS A LIE!!! Chris told me to go and cash the check and bring the funds back to him. So then I go to my bank who refuses to cash the check because the person who endorsed the check is not with me and then I go to the bank's name that was on the check and they didn't cash the check either because on the back of it Chris endorsed it as for deposit only! So then I'm stuck with a check that I can't do anything with and I try and call RimTyme back over six times and the only person that will service me is Mike he continually answered the phone when I called. Tamika would not get on the phone to talk to me and neither would Chris. Mike relayed a message to Chris for me and told him that I said he either needs to take this check or give me my refund of $350 back of course he chose to give me my refund back instead of keeping my business. I caution you to never try and use your insurance with this place. They are unprofessional and only want to use a cash system. That makes me think they are probably doing something underhanded because a check leaves a paper trail! Either way, I'll NEVER forget this horrible experience. read more
