My wife and I moved to a 575 sq. ft. 1BR in Rincon Green last month and couldn't be happier. We work in SoMa and FiDi and wanted something closer to work so decided to leave our 750 sq. ft. apartment in the Peninsula. We started apartment hunting a month in advance and decided to stick to the Rincon Hill neighborhood as it feels plush and safe. After reviewing Solaire and 333 Fremont we knew we had found the right place when we met Allison at Rincon Green. From the moment we stepped into Allison's office everything just got easier. The clarity with which she communicated over phone, email and in person was superb and well above my experience elsewhere. What really sealed the deal for us was that she was willing to work with us to meet our needs and not the other way around. It was like working with a friend and not with someone trying to get you to sign on the dotted line. Allison was flexible with our move in date and gave us a sweet offer with the first month free on a 12 month lease, two months of free car parking and a year of webpass (free internet). I couldn't have asked for more. The apartment itself is really well built. We prefer a larger living space and a smaller bed room and got that here. The kitchen has cherry finished flooring with carpets in the living and bed rooms. The bathroom is also pretty big and we have in unit laundry - which surprisingly isn't that common in SF. All the appliances are chrome finished, cabinets and drawers and soft close and feel relatively new. We have tall ceilings, the walls are made of concrete and we have double paned glass doors and windows so the noise isolation is terrific. The apartment was like new the day we moved in and they even put air fresheners so it wouldn't smell like paint. Allison gave us the keys a day in advance to make it easier for our move in date and we got a reserved elevator for a few hours. Rincon also offers something called Active building - an online forum where neighbors can interact and buy/sell things easily, which we find very useful. Other amenities include a huge gym, zipcar on site and laundary facilities amongst other things. Like the rest of the reviews mention, the location is amazing and everything is a short walk away. One issue of this neighborhood (not just Rincon Green) is given its proximity to the bay bridge, it attracts a lot of traffic, noise and dust, especially during peak hours. Overall though, Rincon Green definitely feels special and provides a lot of value for money. I think that is the main reason they have some of the best ratings in a very competitive and upscale neighborhood. read more

I lived here for a a few months, under a year. First off, Vanessa, Allison, and the rest of the team are all-around wonderful with prompt and clear communication. My only gripe is the noise from my unit that came from the unit above and neighbors on the side. We tried a few times to resolve them, but the issue continued throughout my stay. I think this is more of a random element rather than a fault of the staff, so I just ran into bad luck, YMMV. If hadn't moved out of SF, I'd still have considered moving to another unit within the premises, since the accommodating staff and proximity to transportation outweigh the one negative about the place. read more

Not only the free perks of Peets coffee and the exercise classes being offered, the staff is very attentive and personable (special thanks to Allison for being so on top of things!) I've lived at Metropolitan and 38 Dolores and my experience with RG is the best. I would definitely renewed my lease had I not buying a place. read more

After 2 1/2 years, I have to say goodbye to Rincon Green. I don't want to leave however an opportunity arose in another city. I truly enjoyed living at RG. Management and the front desk staff are very friendly and responsive. They answer all your questions and help whenever they can. A big shoutout to Laila, Venessa, and Joe - you all have been great! The building is clean, well-maintained and secure with security at night. The front of the building has a community park, great for kids and the rooftop has an area for grilling and a hot tub. The building really advocates being "green" that they also have a compost chute on every floor! The gym is state of the art, has every equipment you need and even has a yoga area and a Pilates reformer. It's a great location for those who work at FiDi, I walk to work and loved it! I met some awesome neighbors who now I call friends. Although my unit was small, it was perfect for me - new appliances, great balcony and the walls are made of thick concrete (did not hear my neighbors at all). I'm really going to miss living here. read more

I moved into Rincon Green in September 2016. It has been one of my favorite apartment buildings that I have ever lived in.The amenities are amazing--the gym is top of the line and one of the main reasons I moved in. The rooftop is also fantastic and the hot tub has a perfect view of the Bay Bridge. Also, the staff, concierge, and security are incredibly nice and helpful. The location of the building is ideal, just a few short blocks from the Embarcadero, close to the highway, and close to the financial district. Rincon Green is incredibly affordable for San Francisco and I highly recommend this building to anyone looking in the area! read more

I highly recommend living at Rincon Green! I lived in this building on two occasions - in 2013 and 2016. The location is excellent if your office is in the Financial District or SOMA. It is also a great location if you are a commuter, as it is near public transit such as the bus terminal, BART/Muni, and the ferries. The building is maintained to a very high standard and the units are remarkably quiet. The staff have always been extraordinarily pleasant, professional, and quick to respond to any questions. (Venessa in 2013 and Allison in 2016). The gym and roof areas are well-laid out and there is plenty of parking in the 2-level underground garage. I would definitely live here again if work brings me back to San Francisco in the future. read more

We lived here for about 4 years and it really was the best apartment complex we could have wanted. Our daughter was born here and spent her first 2 years. We made good use of the emerald park. It also has a nice gym with modern equipments. Complex is simple, modern and a touch minimalist (no pools that are always empty, multiple gyms that are always empty etc). Staff was also amazing - shout out to Roy, Alex, Allison, Janae, Laila and the maintenance staff. RinconGreen has EV charging and a 24 hour concierge. If we ever move back to renting, we will go back here. read more

I lived in the Rincon Green for more than 2 years and it was a great place to live. The maintenance staff are awesome! Super friendly and helpful. Leasing office staff are also very responsive. The building is very convenient to downtown/FiDi and has really convenient amenities. Zipcar is also right downstairs and it's easy to dispose of trash, boxes, etc. Facilities are well kept up and the design of the apartments is nice as well. I enjoyed living here and it's nice to have the green space in front too. read more

Current resident at Rincon Green and I couldn't be more happy with the choice - certainly my best renting experience. The apartment is gorgeous and has been extremely well-maintained. Rincon Green was the only building of the nearly 20 I looked at that had a washer & dryer in the building, a huge plus. In terms of amenities, I did not renew my Equinox membership because of how great the gym is. It is never crowded and even includes a reformer. Lastly, hot tub on the roof is perfect since SF is typically to chilly to make good use of a pool. The professional staff is what really makes it. I've had maintenance at the door 15 minutes after making a request. The concierge is very helpful and is able to solve every problem. Finally, the leasing office made move-in a breeze with garage access and an elevator lock without having to schedule it. read more

I've lived at Rincon Green for the past year and loved it. It's conveniently located, in a great (and growing!) neighborhood, and each apartment has lots of light. The gym is well-stocked and never crowded, and the service is awesome. I'm a huge fan of the park out front, which really centers my sense of place when coming home after a long day of work. I also love the ventilation system they have set up in the building. It pipes in filtered air from outside, keeping the apartment cool and crisp. Love it! read more

Especially the barbecue on the roof is great. A great place to grill your fish and meet some neighbours. And the service provided by Jerry and his maintenance guys is superb. Although I did not end up living at Rincon Green (for reasons on my end), my experience with Rincon Green was extremely professional and I will seek them out again if/when my situation matches what they have to offer. I have lived here for the past 17 months and it has been nothing short of amazing!! From the very beginning, Rincon Green staff have been very accommodating to all my needs. Since I was living in the east coast at the time and couldn't fly over to check out the apartment, the staff was kind enough to provide me with pictures to review and provided responses to all my questions in a very quick and efficient manner. Rincon Green, up until now, has great value for my money too! The floor plans are bigger than most buildings in the surrounding area and the prices are much more reasonable. The location is perfect because I can walk to places in the city but doesn't feel like I'm in the middle of the hustle and bustle of things. Another thing, since the complex is right off the freeways, I don't have to drive through the traffic of the city to hop on the freeways. Here are some other great aspects of this complex that I truly love: 1) Maintenance - They have a web-based portal that you can log your issues and track the status. This is especially convenient for me since I also have work during their business hours and can easily report my issues whenever I want. I don't have to call the office to report the issues. The turn around time is pretty quick too, usually within 24hrs of reporting the issue. 2) Parking - Safe, clean and secure underground parking. I mean of course there's a monthly fee for parking spaces but where in SF would you not have to pay for parking? However, it's nice to know that if I'm going to pay $300/month for unassigned parking, there's always plenty of spaces for me to park my car. I never have an issue with finding an empty spot, regardless of what time I come home. 3) Foundation - I've lived in several mid-rise and high-rise complexes and I'm pretty impressed with the sound proofing structure of this place. We live right next to the Bay Bridge and I can't hear anything when I closed my windows. Also, even though I lived on the fifth floor with people above and on both sides of my apt, I can never hear my neighbors. 4) Staff - They have a really friendly and helpful team here! The folks at the front desk are always acknowledging you whenever you come in the door or get off the elevator. 5) Amenities - They have a well equipped gym that's always clean. I really like the fact that they have a bike room because I don't have to keep my bikes in my apt, allowing me to save the scarce real estate for other things :) Also, since they added the locker room for packages, I can retrieve my packages whenever I want and not have to waste time going through the front desk and wait for people to go find the package. 6) Cleanliness - The management team really takes care of this place! I never see a piece of trash in the hallway, in the elevator or on the ground in the parking structure/front lawn. read more

It's been a pleasure to live at Rincon Green over the past year. I would absolutely renew my lease if I didn't have to move back to New York. My one bedroom was super spacious - I found the in unit washer/dryer to be a huge perk. I worked in FiDi so my daily commute consisted of a 20 minute walk to and from the office. As mentioned numerous times in previous reviews - the staff is exceptional and very easy to work with. Amenities include a gym, roof deck with grills (awesome for BBQs) and a hot tub. The building also works with a number of start-ups for housekeeping, storage, and dry-cleaning which I thought to be helpful. If you don't own a vehicle, there's a few Zipcars located in the garage if you needed to get around for the day. The property itself is very well maintained, so it's quite a treat to come home to. I enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to rent in the area! read more

I moved into Rincon Green over a year ago, and feel compelled to write this review because beyond the wonderful (5 star) living experience within this building, the staff has gone above and beyond for me on numerous occasions, in order to ensure that I have a positive experience and feel truly at home. This is definitely a team that values customer service and making tenants happy, which adds to the positive community feeling they've created through their careful selection of staff, be it from the front desk to the management team, to security, maintenance and even cleaners!! To illustrate what I mean, upon moving in, the wall unit I ordered did not fit, and the staff allowed me to move units AND gave me an upgraded / significantly larger unit in order to make up for the inconvenience. It didn't stop there: they gave me time to decide, view it multiple times, and then helped me move my entire apartment without asking for anything!!! It was truly generous and accommodating, and demonstrative of the standard Rincon Green upholds. In terms of the two apartments where I resided, I can say that the layouts are the best I have seen amongst the new luxury buildings in Soma / South Beach, and I have visited them all. From the elegant finishings, to the large windows and views, to the modern appliances and extremely smart built-in storage - it makes living both comfortable and attractive. In terms of cleanliness, the entire building is kept spotless; the staff go out of their way to keep it that way so you feel as if you are in a pristine environment (which is cleaner than most 5-star hotels). The maintenance team will also come in and help you on demand for any maintenance needs e.g. change light bulbs, which is highly convenient, and free! When it comes to amenities, I adore the gym (it's giant, you never run out of machines), and it includes state of the art modern equipment and free classes! The roof is also gorgeous with hot tub available late into the evenings. Last, but not least, I am noise sensitive, and was pleased to discover the windows and walls are extremely noise resistant! Despite traffic outside I never hear anything, and thanks to the garden / gated entry-way, you can leave the window open and still be sheltered from the noise of the city. This is definitely a rarity in SF and brings immense calm when relaxing at home! Essentially, if you are looking for a convenient, high quality home-like experience and atmosphere, coupled with a feeling of luxury - this the place for you !! My roommate and I lived in a studio with kitchen, bedroom and a small study that we changed into a 2nd bedroom. Best things about Rincon Green: 1) package concierge both with someone sitting at the front desk and with an automated machine so that you can get packages delivered at any time and pick them up at pretty much any time 2) super fast and effective maintenance. whenever we put in a service request online for a light that's gone out or issues with the dryer, someone would come to fix it usually the next day, 3) staff is super friendly and responds quickly. 4) washer/dryer in the apartment. Con: can be pricey, but you pay for what you get.. great location (SOMA, 10 min walk from bart, 5 min walk from MUNI trains) and all of the above benefits. My roommate and I are moving not because we didn't like rincon green but because we wanted to live with 2 other girls and found a cheaper 4 bedroom apartment in lower pac heights. It's sad to say good bye to Rincon Green, the place I call home for almost 3 years! I have had good experience here from start to finish. The apartment community areas and hallways are always clean and tidy. When my bathtub is clogged or my light bulbs go off, Jairell and his guys always fix them within the next day. The maintenance is top notched and the online process to request a repair service is very convenient. The management and leasing team Laila and Allie are always helpful and responsive when I have any questions or need any help. Both of them are also flexible, very accommodating, and coordinate with each other and other staff very well. My move out has been very smooth in many parts because of them. I also feel that the rent is very reasonable given the location, the amenities, the service, and the quality of the apartment. If anyone is looking for a place in Rincon Hills or financial district, I highly recommend seriously consider Rincon Green your next home :) read more

So it is time to move from Rincon Green. I can truly say that this place is amazing, from the people to the facilities to the apartments, everything is pretty much spot on. The only downsides can be the area, traffic is a nightmare and it can get a bit windy on the deck but really these are problems pretty much everywhere around here and should not affect the rating I give this amazing community. We lived at Rincon Green for over four years and can say without hesitation that it was the best rental experience of our lives. We moved from Washington, DC in 2014 and had to rent site unseen. The Rincon Green leasing staff were extremely accommodating and made our transition as seamless as possible. We didn't plan to necessarily stay at Rincon Green for many years but were given very reasonable renewal terms each year, especially considering that our stay coincided with the height of the tech boom. The Rincon Green amenities are fabulous - coffee each morning, a modern gym that is never too crowded, work space with WiFi, beautiful views from the rooftop, grills and a hot tub. The leasing, management and reception staff are amazingly helpful and unfailingly friendly. The community events were memorable and we will always treasure our back-to-back Best Ugly Christmas Sweater awards! Maintenance requests were handled promptly and professionally throughout our four years. If we had not bought a condo, we would have definitely renewed our lease. We strongly recommend Rincon Green, especially for people new to the City. We definitely miss it! read more

I absolutely loved living here! When I moved to San Francisco for a full time job, I was very nervous about finding an apartment. I toured many complexes, but after touring Rincon Green and talking with the friendly leasing staff, I knew that I wanted to live here! I was initially a little worried about the noise since it is close to the Bay Bridge, but the walls are pretty thick and I haven't had any problems with the noise. It has a great gym and a wonderful rooftop terrace. It is ideally located near the Embarcadero, SOMA, and FIDI. Every morning I am greeted with a friendly smile from Roy at the front desk as a leave for work, and every night I am welcomed back by Rodrigo, the incredibly friendly security guard. Rincon Green is an extremely clean and well maintained complex. I am extremely happy that I chose to live here! Thank you to the amazing staff that made Rincon Green so wonderful! read more
