Oh my goodness, where to start. We went there for my birthday lunch. It was FANTASTIC! Muy fantastico! I had a platter with three enchiladas, a beef, a chicken, and a cheese. Beef was best, but all great. Came with a tamale, a crispy taco, beans, rice. WOW! We got the large guac. There were five of us and the 2 year old LOVES Guac! It was so fresh and delicious! I had Ceviche for my birthday special treat/appetizer. SO GOOD! Perfect! Service was great, they sang Happy Birthday to me... I speak Spanish but I couldn't understand a word of their song. I will get 2 more meals out of my leftovers! Generous servings. Our waitress was a beautiful young woman who actually smiled, acted interested in us, chatted with us. Very personable. My wife and I dined in last night and had the best experience! We weren't too hungry so our server suggested we each get a couple tacos a la carte a long with some spicy queso. These people are advertising one thing and serving another. I ordered a salad because it had blue cheese as an ingredient. As salad came out no blue cheese. Asked waitress and she said it was blue cheese dressing even though menu listed blue cheese and waitress had asked me for my dressing preference. The five of us had dinner there on Saturday night right after church. There was a 20 minute wait and we went to look in the bar and found the perfect spot. We had dinner there which started out with drinks. I had a wonderful grande margarita. It was very tasty and reasonably priced. For dinner I had the pick three plate with enchiladas and tostada which tasted great another of my party had the special nachos with chicken and they raved about that and my wife had chicken enchiladas-all good. My family and I ate at Rio mambo in Weatherford this Sunday and enjoyed it very much! We are regulars at city view but it was closed that day. We sat in the bar and Natalie C was our waitress. She was amazing! She recommended the Morita margarita and it is now my favorite drink here! The food was delicious. We enjoyed a Megan's plate and fish tacos. The sauce on the fish tacos is so good. It is our first time here. I love the ambiance and the set-up of the restaurant its also huge. However, the food I order it taste blend. The meat is really soft, it is good except kind of lacking of salt or soy sauce or whatever lacking in it... but aside from that, the staff are very friendly and nice. Plus their togo bag is very impressive! Very unique and social unlike most of the restaurants, the togo bag is just a simple thank you to go bag. Togo bag its really important but I just love how do they make differently way of style to publicize their restaurant. Which is nice looking. read more

Me and my wife went up to Rio Mambo one of are favorite places to eat. Still is! However we ran into a predicament this weekend at dinner. Our server was amazing however our food came out cold which is okay just needed to be fixed but we could not find a manager! Not one at all! Luckily we were able to walk to the Togo area were a lovely lady manager was able to help us. Again still our favorite place to eat but some of the management could do better. read more

We used their catering as well for large luncheons or family gatherings and it is always a big hit! OUTSTANDING!! Went all the way to Weatherford from far north Fort Worth to dine at Rio Mambo and it did NOT disappoint. Let me start off with our server, Elijah. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He was an absolute "rockstar". We are so pleased with his service that I felt the need to write this review. He suggested entrees based on the fact that I simply wanted a crispy beef taco. He verbally led me straight to the part of the menu that had what I was so desperately craving and also gave me all the options to achieve the best meal I could have imagined. If you go, please hope that Elijah is your server, simply wonderful. Now, let me also say that this particular restaurant has the very best crispy beef tacos I've ever had in all my (almost) 53 years. Crispy, flavorful, and exactly what I wanted.
