No privacy in the men's area , and the layout to get from room to room is bad, lockers are super old again bad layout , no privacy, no peace, bright lighting and no sense of calm, people talking loudly like it's a gym.

As a spa aficionado, I must say this is one of the most bland & basic spas I have ever been to. The theme is the 1950's Heyday with the likes of Jane Russel, Audrey Hepburn, etc. & honestly if the Rio had been here that long I would have thought that's the last time the spa had been remodeled or upgraded. Amenities are at a Bare Minimum; Spa, Sauna, Steam Room & Showers.

This is truly an awesome spa! While visiting Vegas, a friend and I found a deal for a facial and massage at the Rio Spa. It's a bit off of the strip so probably not a place you'd stumble upon while walking. I have visited a few spas back home almost every month this quarter as I have another friend who loves massages, but I personally never leave feeling like I truly want to commit to the practice. However, when I say I had the best facial with Suzanne and the best massage with Heather, it is not an understatement. I wanted to take them both back home with me! Suzanne was super friendly, and while we chatted during my facial it still felt super relaxing. After she finished with my face, it was glowing! My last facial elsewhere left me with a huge breakout and I do not feel like my skin looked as good as it did after my time with Suzanne, super impressed. Then Heather gave me the most awesome Swedish massage. Just the right amount of pressure and I added lavender aromatherapy. Super relaxing! When you have services you are also allowed to use the facilities until around 7pm and you can come and go as you please. They have a relaxation room, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. We didn't get a chance to enjoy because we had to run back to our hotel for work but definitely wish we could have. What an awesome way to start a day, I highly recommend! My friend had someone else for her massage and she was super impressed with hers as well!

Such a great local Spa! They have everything you need for a relaxing time. If you are a guest at the hotel the rate for the spa facilities would be $10 this is not included within your resort fees, which this once was so it's kind of a bummer, if you are just visiting the spa alone it's about $20 to enjoy the facilities. Upon entrance to the spa area you are greeted by the front desk and they will direct you to spa area, in the front area they offer additional services such as hair and makeup. Once you enter the back you will be greeted with coffee, tea or an amazing fruit mixture of cranberry juice and pineapple juice, they will also give you a pair of sandals and your locker combo with a plush robe inside. Once inside the spa you have the option of Using the warm sauna that sprays off a eucalyptus smell that is great for opening all pours, the warm sauna old school style nothing but wood and charcoal, they also have a wet sauna that you can enjoy with cold towels just in case you get hot, and infused water throughout the spa. They have several massage rooms for your appointments (please look at my photos for service prices). Now moving Onto the shower bathroom area, they have everything you will ever need and if you don't see it just ask, upon your shower with the glorious shower head! Best shower head ever they will give you an amazing body scrub made in house you can use! If you don't get it ask for it because it's amazing. All in all go work out and pamper yourself you will really enjoy it and feel very well taking care of! It's worth the $20 I will enjoy every time I am in Vegas daily!

    A Must to visit

The Spa's absolutely awesome I had a Swedish massage today by Carl. It was probably one of the best massages I have ever had! The front desk is incredible with customer service and Friendly Smiles. From Dominique, Julie, Malayet, and Lucia. Must to visit. They also have a steam room and a Jacuzzi

But, I will have to say me and my partner really enjoyed the privateness of this place. It was fun to learn they also have a location in Henderson and they will also get the couple suites. I made same day reservations which is on the phone only to book couples room, followed by a text to fill out your credit card information, followed by a few hours later to fillout preferences (though you can do this in person before service). The couples room was cute with a steam room, two person jet water bath and a infrared sauna (lower temperature). If I had to make a upgrade suggestion, I would say hotter sauna, add fun couple elements to the bath maybe a cute massage oil and for the sauna maybe offer a salt or sugar self scrub before access the steam room. I felt the experience of the couples room was nice but like it was missing elements to make it romantic and opportunities to interact with one another which a oil or scrub would help with. Anyways the massages were well worth it and really good. We both ended up doing the special which combines Swedish with thai stretching. Felt really relaxed afterwards and just focused on hydration with tea and water the next two days. Slept really well. I will be back!

The front lobby is a "no-frills" Asian spa (Chinese-operated, not Korean), but don't let the modest exterior fool you--it is surprisingly huge inside and can accommodate up to 20 people at once. I walked in without an appointment and they were able to take me immediately. Here are a few tips for your visit: The Setup: The rooms are separated by doors for privacy, but the individual sections are divided by curtains, so you can sometimes hear neighbors talking. The Pressure: This is the place for people who actually want a hard massage. Even their "regular" pressure is much firmer than a "deep tissue" at a place like Burke Williams. I especially loved the technique where they step on your back--it's incredibly effective! Just make sure to be vocal about your preferences if you want them to adjust. Pricing & Upselling: They are very clear and upfront with their signs, but like any spa, they may offer add-ons. Just ask if something is included or an extra charge; they aren't trying to scam you, they're just running a business. Location: It's in a perfect spot right next to all the amazing restaurants off Spring Mountain, making it a great stop before or after dinner. If you don't need a giant hot tub or a steam room and just want a focused, high-quality massage that actually works out the knots, this is the spot. I left feeling super relaxed!

I chose the 60-minute deep tissue full body massage, which cost $68 for one hour. That price is actually on the lower side for the Las Vegas area. However, I felt that the therapist's pressure was not strong enough and didn't quite achieve the results I was expecting. That being said, the overall environment and pricing were still very good. It's definitely a place worth coming back to in the future.

However, my most recent visit (a few days ago) Heidi was not available and I had Gisele instead. She was kind at pickup, however, as we were talking through the consultation she visibly started becoming detached and I caught her slightly roll her eyes a few times after I asked some questions about add ons. While she stepped out and I was about to get on the table, I stuck my head out into the hall to ask to add an oil add on and she was leaning against the wall on her phone. She immediately put it away and said she could add the oil (I forgot the name of it). I thought this was a bit unprofessional since there are guests walking up and down the hall. During the massage, I asked for her to lighten the pressure and her responses were clipped and she seemed annoyed. I did not feel relaxed after and felt like a huge inconvenience to her. I always go down to enjoy the spa and it honestly was chaotic this time. I always enjoy the sauna shows (Joli is amazing!). The common area was too over crowded and it was LOUD. I get it, it's a social area but the employees should be able to ask to lower the voices in a spa, right? Apparently not. I asked Rolli (he said he was a supervisor) about it and pretty much said that's how it is and I could go to the female only side for more quiet if I wanted. I then saw him approach a female employee with orange hair and they seemed to laugh about it as she looked over my way. Also, all of the warm stone chairs had towels/robes on them to block anyone from sitting while everyone was in the pool. So no one else could enjoy them and again the employees didn't do anything about it. Okay.... I felt unwelcome in that area with them so I went to the ladies side. The hot tubs edges had black/green goop building up. Half the showers are broken. There were dirty cups/bowls everywhere. The star lounge had dirty towels built up. I went to the desk (where they give you your shoes) and there were about 7-8 of them standing inside...men too! Why can they see into the ladies only side? Again, fine I'll move on from that...but they were all so so loud and just laughing and chit chatting. You could hear them in the locker changing areas and the couches where you enjoy the snacks. While the entire spa was a mess! I got changed and left. I didn't even want to mention anything at the reception desk. It was overwhelming and underwhelming all at the same time and just wanted to get out of there. I honestly won't be coming back. The facilities are not being kept up with anymore. The service quality is very low. It was such a bad experience, there are other spas that offer better value for your money.

There are plenty of chairs for foot massages, private rooms galore, custom shoulder massage chairs, and a serene ambiance with Chinese style furniture that helps with its overall vibe. It was easy to look over their services on their website, but to ensure my mom and I could do our massages together at the same time, I found calling them was much better. I had booked the 50-minute Prenatal Massage and my mom booked the 50-minute Thai LOAM Massage with a 50% reservation fee. We were required to show up 10 minutes before our appointments to fill out a waiver and survey, change out of our clothes, and get situated on the massage bed. We were originally going to be in separate rooms but they asked if it was okay to put us in the couples' room; not a problem. They set up my bed with the pregnancy wedge for my belly, and it was pretty comfortable. The only complaint I had was that I had a hard time breathing through the little head hole as they layered a lot of white sheets on top of the bed and made the hole smaller and stifling. I found myself having to breathe through my mouth but it was tolerable. For prenatal massages, they only offer light and medium pressure. However, in certain areas I did feel like I got deep pressure especially in my shoulders as I had a few knots and tightness there. Katie/Kathy was my masseuse and she knew exactly how to work out those kinks while still making the experience comfortable for a pregnant person. I still felt like I got deep tissue massage on my shoulders despite the prenatal massage policy of being at maximum medium pressure. My mom said she found her massage relaxing and loved her experience at LOAM. They gave us water cups at checkout and we left feeling pretty relaxed. I did have a bit of shoulder soreness for 2 days afterwards but that is to be expected for getting the incessant knots out of my back--shoutout to Katie/Kathy! Overall, I highly recommend LOAM for their prenatal massages!
