Solid food. Good prices. Tasty menudo and friendly service. The mural-covered storefront is a good representation of the neighborhood. The staff is mostly Spanish-speaking, but really tried to bridge the gap.

the inside is reallly cute. very nicely decorated and the service is great. the food was not that great to me tho. it was bland. everything needed more salt than spice. everything did have a good flavor to it tho. it was expensive as hell tho. i would not go back but maybe if you like really spicy and non salty things u would like this place

This is truly a hidden gem! Location / Interior Unassuming and inconspicuous describe where this establishment sits. There are plenty of seats inside and with COVID-19 they are already distanced. Food So good! We had a barbacoa taco, chilaquiles and menudo. Both were fantastic. The menudo seemed a bit watered down, but even then it was much better than most places around! Pricing For the portion and quality the pricing is reasonable. Service Very attentive set of ladies between the three. The youngest handles the tables and she is always quick to make sure you have everything you need! Overall This place is definitely going to be visited more frequently by us since we are not too far from it. It very much competes with our favorite spot for brunch, but far less seating which makes it less crowded with quicker service. Keep up the fantastic work!

I honestly did not know what to expect! My chille relleno came hot, stuffed with beef and potatoes in a pool of potato/tomato salsa. I must admit, despite the fact that I dont like refried beans, these were actually very good! Definitely not Tex-Mex as the natural flavors of the food exude the culinary habits of Cental Mexico/ Costa Rica. This is Authentic Mexican Food at a very reasonable price with a homey feel. Seems to be a local gem. I will return!!!

Came to this place during my lunch break and I think I found a new favorite spot. Definitely authentic food, it felt like I was at grandmas! I had the carne guisada and it was great. The flour tortillas are good and so is the red salsa. My waitress was the sweetest and took care of me. Def comfort food!

Homemade tortillas. Huevos rancheros & chorizo bk plate. Delicious strong coffee. The salsa is super spicy so watch out!

We visited around 5:00 PM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately for a party of two without a reservation. The restaurant is huge, and despite being very busy, the service was efficient. We were seated in one of the back dining rooms and greeted with complimentary chips and salsa, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic--packed with World Cup fans, with what felt like everyone wearing a soccer jersey. As fellow futebol fans, we loved the energy. Being from California, we're fortunate to have access to some excellent Mexican food, so we were a little hesitant about trying Tex-Mex. I ordered the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and a passion fruit margarita. The chicken had a smoky flavor and a sauce that gave the dish a distinctly Texas-style twist. The flour tortillas were outstanding, and the refried beans and rice were just as enjoyable. The passion fruit margarita was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. Overall, this was a great dining experience and a place I'd recommend for the atmosphere alone. The restaurant appears well-equipped to accommodate large groups, making it a great option for gatherings. Next time, I'd love to return with a bigger group and take advantage of one of their margarita pitchers!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

Service was remarkable and very friendly from the host to the cleaning staff. Food was delicious. I really appreciated the creative flavors that were inspired by authentic Mexican cuisine. Standouts were the guacamole and wagyu carne asada, but everything was fantastic. I loved the Clara cocktail and enjoyed learning about the process to create it. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top.
