CROOKS I don't get it. I went in to see these people because the dealership wanted $1200 to replace the oil pan on my wife's 2015 Ford Edge Sport, including parts. So, I decided to look for a local mechanic and this shop came up in my search and I went to see them. I met with whom I can only imagine was the owner because the moment I asked for a price and availability for the work to get done I was met with complaints and excuses of what a difficult job it might be and that they may even have to put the car on a lift, however he did give me a price of $1100 even though I told him that I had bought the $440 worth of parts needed (Oil Pan & Gasket) from Ford to do the work. When I told him that he's as expensive as the dealer he said, "Well how much do you want to pay" and wanting a slightly lower price than the dealer I said that I was expecting $600 to which he the said "I can do it for that". I walked away because there's no way that I would give my money to a crook and conman like that guy. Go meet him and you'll see what I mean. This is a very dishonest business so to anyone that reads this, just keep looking because this guy is less than honest and who in their right mind would try to change an oil pan on an AWD twin turbo sports SUV whilst laying on his back. I have a mechanic that I've been going to for many years, but recently became difficult for me to make it all the way out to their location. So I found Rios and decided to give him a shot with my chally's oil change. I leave for work very early and return very late- he allowed me to leave my vehicle outside the shop and leave my keys with the gas station attendant and was able to pick up after work. I brought my salvage car to Rios Auto Tech after it was recommended by a friend. I had bought this 2011 bmw 328i a while ago but it still had the airbag and seatbelt lights on dash, and I couldn't get it registered until I fixed this problem. I couldn't have picked a better place! The service I received was above expectations!! My car was not only fixed the next day, but they even washed and cleaned the car for me. They were very honest about the problems the car had, showed me all the codes that were failing and walked me thru the whole process. Never charged me more than was originally stated. Mr. Rios and his crew are by far the best auto repair shop I've been to thus far. They are super knowledgeable, and their prices are super reasonable (maybe even more than that ‍) Now, normally my favorite part of a transaction is the customer service, But THAT wasn't even the best part of it all! (That was amazing too) Every other shop I went to -which was multiple- for what my car needed told me that it would cost over $500 to fix. Well Me. Rios was able to top all of them by just fixing the issue instead of the entire replacement! I truly appreciate him not trying to hustle me for a buck! I had my all around motor mounts done but I felt something wrong with my car still after 2days and I went back and the mechanic man said keep driving it and didn't bother on checking it at all so on 7/18/21 at 3pm after getting off work as a caregiver it started to sound like a bad motor cycle or like the motor was going to fall so I started slowing down more I called Pepboys and my car is getting fixed from one of the motor mounts that the man didn't put a bolt on to hold the transmission motor mount so I called the mechanic man from Rios auto repair and I started to explain to the man but the man hung up on me and I called back and he said bring it in and I told him I can't cause something can happen to me on my way there and I have my son with me and he said just bring it and act it that he didn't want to hear me at all so I'm NOT recommending or taking my car there anymore plus the man is a big flirt with all the girls and ladies that go without there husbands or boyfriends so watch out read more

The owner threatened me, saying that I need to remember that he has my phone number and address when I told him I was going to do a review!!! Extremely unprofessional (and it seems unethical) owner. My check engine light has been on 2 yrs, which I told him and gave him the codes that were preventing my car from passing smog that AutoZone and another non-star station told me. He said what those places told me doesn't mean anything because they don't do the work that he specializes in. He said they guess, but that he is a master mechanic.Within 15 minutes, he reset car and said that light may stay off and then I only will pay for certificate but if it comes back on then I pay $280 for re-routing. (He said it for sure wasn't an oxygen sensor like the other places GUESSED). Within 10 miles, light came back on so I called him&he said to bring in and assured me that cost would be $280 out the door. And he reminded me again how he is a master mechanic and gave me examples of other customers he dealt with, and all the stories implied he was the real deal.After having my car 2 hrs, he had his son call to tell me that it was a different problem that would be very expensive. I went back to the shop and he kept saying that he worked two hours on car and wants me not to be upset and on and on and then gave me very confusing explanations of what was needed. He said he could reset car again and then do the test so it WILL PASS-he said he would know what miles to do and how to test car right before the light comes on so it will pass but he said after test, light may stay on again. He said it was all legal, that he would never do anything wrong and that the cost was $260. I said that since he wasn't fixing the problem he originally said (for a re-route for $280 that would permanently solve problem&keep light off)that I thought $150 would be fair since the light would be on again after test. He completely changed his attitude once I said that. He said he worked on car 2 hours and wouldn't charge me for that but I would just pay $260 and get test passed. He said that he was trying to help me. And when I again said that $260 seemed high since he wasn't doing what he originally said, he told me to just take the car then or I have to do the expensive repair to keep light permanently off. When I asked his son why his dad was offering one solution for $260 but then getting upset and saying I had to just leave or do the expensive repair option, he said his dad is that way: that I should have just paid the $260 but since I mentioned $150 that his dad now thinks maybe I would complain later about the light coming back on since I was "complaining" about $260. That's when I began saying that his dad's attitude was not customer-service oriented and that I would write a review about that. When I asked the father for his card, he then said he could be a nice guy but if I'm going to do something like that then he will go the opposite way too---and then he said : remember I have your address and phone!!!!
