Got the Turkey Club with Potato Salad. Pretty, pretty, pretty good. Probably, the best sandwich I have tasted in a while. The ingredients were fresh (the bread is sourced locally). The potato salad was well balanced between the creamy texture and flavor (no pickles used according to the owner). Nice touch on grilling the sandwich bread with butter. This is a family owned business. The owner recommended trying their Garden Feta Sandwich. I am a big fan of feta and told him I would try it the next time I am in the area. Service was extremely friendly and prompt.

We decided to try Garden Deli after my brother kept seeing it all over social media. We took our dad out for lunch and figured we'd finally check it out. It's a family-owned and operated spot with really friendly service. They do have indoor seating, but it's pretty small and intimate, so depending on when you go there might be a bit of a wait for a table and your order. My dad ordered the Garden Feta sandwich with chips, my brother went with the recommended roast beef sandwich and a side of potato salad (which was made fresh that day), and I ordered the tuna salad on a croissant instead of sourdough. The vegetables on both my dad's sandwich and mine were fresh and crisp, which was nice. My brother really enjoyed his roast beef sandwich and the potato salad. My dad said the Garden Feta sandwich was pretty good, and I thought the tuna salad on the croissant was good as well. Service was great and everyone we interacted with was super friendly. The selection is a little limited, so I'm not sure it's somewhere I'd go back to regularly, but it was nice to finally try it and check it off the list. They also have a shared parking lot with the surrounding businesses, and we didn't have any trouble finding parking.

Let me start this review by saying how amazing this place is! Not only is the service incredible, but the food is truly something special. So special that it will have you coming back the next day for more. Am I speaking from experience... absolutely! Do I have any regrets about coming to grab sandwiches two days in a row... never! I ordered a tuna sandwich with the Italian pasta and it was one of the best I've ever had. The tuna is simple and made to order. Topped with avocado, sprouts, and tomato sprinkled with pepper! Pure deliciousness! Now let's talk about the Italian pasta... amazing! I'll take a whole tray! Couldn't get enough. The flavor is spot on and super light. The next day I tried the egg salad sandwich with potato salad and again one of the best I've had. Made to order egg salad is always the best. The flavor was great paired with bacon and a croissant. Truly took this sandwich to another level. Simple yet packed with deliciousness. The potato salad I hear is a family recipe and it's truly made with love. It's light, fluffy, and flavorful. All the qualities that make potato salad delicious. Lastly, I had the Montero. If you want a hearty sandwich this is your jam. It's really really really good. I've never had anything like this, but I'm glad I did. It's one of those sandwiches you didn't know you needed in your life. The carnitas are so good paired with the caramelized onions... yum! Definitely a sandwich worth trying and telling all your friends about. Overall, this sandwich spot is truly an excellent experience. They have perfected the art of sandwich making and I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the sandwiches! Thank you again for the wonderful service and the delicious sandwiches. I definitely will be back!

Service was very friendly and food was great! I got the garden deli sandwich and added oven roasted chicken. Both the pasta salad and potato salad are housemade and created to perfection. Ambiance is urban yet cozy and family-oriented. Give them a try :).

It's our favorite sandwich spot anywhere around! Service is great , food is fresh and made to order, you get choice of chips , pasta salad, and potato salad ( if they don't run out it's popular) but this time around we were able to get some and it did not disappoint, atmosphere is good and the play good tunes ! Hot coffee is tasty and fresh . Stop by you won't regret it!

The roast beef sandwich on a croissant instead of the regular bread, potato salad and a strawberry cheesecake

Food is always hitting on point not to mention the customer service hands-down is just amazing The shop has a very comfortable and beautiful feel great for an afternoon lunch any time feels very comfortable and cool inside And everyone that works there is extremely polite. I enjoy visiting this establishment at least once every other week since my first trip.

Food was beautiful, delicious and the staff were so hospitable! The sandwiches really do look professional in person! No sad fast food burger made here, no sir. Their food is made with love and care and it tastes that way too! Flavors were well rounded, the amount of food and quality was great! Make sure to come early or at least before 1:00 or 2:00 because we came around dinner and they ran out of the ingredients for one of their popular sandwiches and they were out of their freshly made sides, too. I'm not mad, that's just how small local businesses run. Please give them a try and I might visit early on a weekend to get their popular items before they run out

The Garden Deli is a true hidden gem tucked in a high-traffic area--tricky to reach, but worth every turn. The cozy ma-and-pa vibe radiates good energy and welcoming charm. I brought the family and ordered the Guajolote Sandwich (oven-roasted turkey, pork belly, romaine lettuce, tomato, raw red onion, provolone cheese, avocado, and signature chipotle aioli on a croissant) with Italian salad; the turkey was perfectly moist, and the sandwich was to die for. My husband got the Roast Beef with Swiss cheese, Dijon mustard aioli, tomato, caramelized onions, and arugula on sourdough bread--juicy, flavorful, and a total standout. The place was empty when we arrived, so they kindly put on Mickey Mouse Playhouse for the kids. The girls loved their ham and cheese sandwiches while watching. Anthony, Jr. (aka Carlos), and John went above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience--open arms, top-notch service. Thank you, guys! Can't wait to return.

Man this was an experience! The customer service was amazing. Me and my brother came from Seal Beach because a friend that lived around here told us about it and how great it was, it exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere is very welcoming and most importantly the food tasted so fresh! Coming back to try the Italian club

Chipotle chicken salad sandwich, turkey bacon sandwich, potato salad, and Italian salad.

The food is delicious! We tried the turkey bacon and the chipotle chicken salad sandwiches and both were delicious! The sides are also both good! The place is cute and the customer service was top notch.

The food here was extremely delicious and super fresh i can just tell when I am getting something real, genuine, and made with love and that is exactly what you will find here. The staff here are super friendly and great with helping you go through the menu, I also loved all the art they have inside it's super nice to get to enjoy amazing food and see how much love and care went into this place, we will for sure be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Omggggggg...hands down the cutest little deli. Had the breakfast sandwich and coffee and boyyyyyyy they did not disappoint. Will be back again!

They have multiple locations all across the SGV which is a good sign that they are a local favorite. The store was clean and the staff, friendly. They sell a ton of other grab and go Vietnamese goods by the counter which seem to sell well and quite fast, so if you're looking for that, come early. Bahn Mi My Tho is my top pick for Thit Heo Nuong or Grilled Pork Bahn Mi. The pork was perfectly seasoned with a delicious lemongrass flavor, was slightly sweet and very tender. The addition of peanuts and green onions adds additional complexity while the fresh and pickled veggies offer the perfect balance. I very much enjoyed this sandwich and is one I would definitely get again!

Now I am curious on all the words after "Banh Mi". Btw, "Banh Mi" means sandwich in Vietnamese. Parking lot is quite tiny with maybe 15 spots, but we got lucky and snatched one spot upon arrival. Street parking may be available though. It's a small sandwich shop with a few tables/chairs outside and limited table and bar stool seating inside. What I find oddly interesting are the dried up plants at one corner of the wall. Not sure if they just wanted to put something there to take up space... at least have lively plants. They were super busy. Gentleman staff was okay. Menu is limited to sandwiches and cold/hot drinks. They also sell snacks and other dry goods on the side. I got 2 banh mi - 1 dac biet special and 1 grilled pork plus 1 Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk. Wait time was a tad longer than expected. Strangely enough, a couple customers who ordered after me got their orders before me. I had to walk up to the counter to inquiry about my order. The gentleman immediately handed my order to me without calling my number. My order was just sitting on the counter. Hmmm? Hence, 4 stars. Coffee was quite strong, but good...very authentic stuff! Banh mi were out of this world delicious! They took it to a whole different level. It was the lemongrass flavor that made it golden. Bread was light and crispy. Tons of meat with fresh veggies. SO FLAVORFULLY GOOD! Yes, I'll be back. May I receive better timely service next time. If you haven't tried Banh Mi My Tho, the time is now. Go get them elevated banh mi!

I've gotten at least a dozen sandwiches (and likely more) from Ike's over the years, and it was always my favorite local sandwich shop after they finally opened a location in the northeast side of LA. But I must say, as of late, their quality is really not the same as the past. I recently ordered a sandwich that came with mushrooms and it was barely cooked and mostly raw. Having raw mushrooms in a sandwich is really not it, and considering each sandwich here is about $16+ post tax and tip (yes I did tip), I think we can expect a little better quality, or at the very least, not having basically raw mushrooms in a sandwich. While they do have many sandwiches to choose from on such a vast menu, and everything is customizable (just with additional charges), it does feel like they'd do better if they nail down some of the details like making sure their cooked ingredients are actually cooked. All that said, the store is kept clean, there's some dine in tables as well as outdoor seating. The music indoors is kept loud, and the decor is very colorful and bold. Service feels like what you'd expect from employing recent high school or college students at their first jobs, but it's always been polite. Pictured: one of the many sandwiches I've consumed over the years from Ike's. This one attached happened to be from 2023.

Unfortunately, it's also a very messy burger that's drenched in its own grease. I had that annoying oily aftertaste desperately clinging onto me after this meal. I felt the urge to shower after eating. On ambiance, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) is lovely. Although it's odd how no music played, I appreciated the big flat screen television displaying the baseball game. The location is also kid friendly since I counted a few high chairs for kids. Also, it's well-shaded, airy, and clean. I appreciate the hard effort towards making this dining area spotless and comfortable. In addition, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) has about 10 tables and one long table. Also, there's a nearby gender neutral restroom for customers. Overall, Eat Fantastic (Arcadia) has potential.
