Contrary to the cashier's opinion the pizza actually tasted good. I would say, however, that it definitely didn't taste $13 good! What can I say about this place? "YUM - FAST - FUN" My wife was looking for a non-gluten pizza place for my daughter and I was told that we would be going to Ripfire Pizza this afternoon. The photos on Yelp looked amazing so I did little to stop them. They have a great model going. The basic pizza is one cost with has two toppings and the next kind up is an As-Many-Toppings-You-Want pizza for the same 13 dollars and some change price. And guess which one I got. Oh Yeah... The As-Many-Toppings-You-Want Pizza. We sat down and waited about 10ish minutes for our order. The crust was thin and crispy and the mozzarella was so stringy and hot, I was almost done with half of the pizza before it stopped. This is a great location, right in Siesta Key Village. We had an amazing beach day and decided to stop here for an early dinner. I liked how clean and open the restaurant was. They have a large open wall that faces the street, and you can people watch while you sit in those bar seats. You can customize your personal pizza and choose whatever toppings you want. The toppings looked and tasted fresh. After our pizza was served, we concluded that we liked the pizza, but it wasn't the BEST pizza we had ever had or anything like that. It was just meh. For a beach pizza joint, it's not bad. Not the most diverse menu but it's a simple experience assuming you like thin crust pies. $9.95 for one topping or $12.95 for unlimited toppings. My family of 4 came on a Wednesday evening around 7:30pm. It wasn't busy and we were able to put in our order right away. The restaurant was very clean and when the weather is nice (like the night we came) they open the patio doors and its like you're outside even when you're inside. We ordered the margherita pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were very, very good. The crust was thin but chewy and they cooked it just right. It seems like more often than not, brick oven pizza gets too burnt on the edges. Maybe it's just my luck. I wish they also served breadsticks or garlic knots. Cold Soggy Trash Went down the street to Ripfire instead of having something delivered, since I figured it would be quick and easy. Unfortunately, after I gave them my order I waited around for over 20 minutes. The lady said she would bring it to me, but finally I had had enough and went up and asked where my pizza was. Well what do you know, it had been sitting in a box by the register for probably no less than 15 minutes. The pizza was completely cold and fairly soggy by this time.
