New diner section next-door with a breakfast and lunch menu.

Hadn't been here in a while and thought I would stop in with some of my family and it's even better! Got to try the different scones, which were fabulous! They now have a brand new breakfast and lunch menu with a diner connected to the main café. The menu looks amazing, with reasonable prices!! We will be back because my family loved it too! And the coffee....perfect! I had a decaf Hawaiian specialty flavor, half sweet. Yum!!! and the workers there are always the sweetest! We found that parking in that municipal lot near McDonald's is convenient. Just exited and walked toward Oneawa.

But first....coffee please. I love me a good latte and Rise & Grind did not disappoint. I first discovered this place when they were at the Farmers Market. It's been great watching them grow into this cute and aesthetic coffee shop that is perfect for hanging out. The decor include a photo wall, and a book room with comfortable chairs. BThe lattes are under are under $10 and offer I size for iced drinks. I really like that they offer house - made syrups. I believe it rotates out seasonally. Right now they offer a pumpkin syrup (house-made). My favorites are the banana and blueberry house made syrups. The blueberry lavender latte is offers the right amount of both flavors. The staff is helpful in recommendations and drinks are served promptly. Find them at the farmers or drop in to their home location in Kailua

I wasn't looking for a new coffee place to go but literally made an illegal u turn once I saw their signage ! What a perfect little getaway! It's snuggled into a small row of buildings next to the Shell station. Parking will be a challenge but there's a small garage next to McDonalds which will take you 70 seconds to walk. It's dog friendly so bring your fur babies! Otherwise, the place is wonderfully appointed to where it feels homey. Definitely on par with any cafe you'll find in Southern Cal. One of the best parts was the friendly staff. I came in a little giddy and she was super patient and explained they baked all their own food (except the danish) and suggested the best thing in the menu- The Bacon Me Crazy sandwich. 10/10 Happy to have this part of my rotation! Come see them in Kailua!

I really needed coffee and searching around Kailua, I saw Rise & Grind. I was first introduced to them at the Kaka'ako farmers market. They are in a space that use to have another coffee shop in it that was pretty cool! I got one of their signature coffee drinks, the Hawaiian...macnut, coconut, and vanilla...soooooo good! Iced and it hit the spot! Didn't feel sleepy driving over the Pali! The inside space is great to relax or meet up with friends. There's also a small room to sit and relax. The staff is really friendly too! Mahalo Rise & Grind!

Roadside coffee stand with huge selection of coffee drinks, smoothies and teas. Great stop coming off the mountain.

I've only been there once and they made a great cappuccino. I also made a four-legged friend. I parked at the public lot and had to dodge sketchy characters early in the morning. By the time I returned, they were gone. Next time, I'll look for street parking.

Bagel with pesto cream cheese was good! -- Tried the Hawaiian Coffee, it macadamia nut and coconut syrup; it was good, not too sweet and coffee isn't too strong --Berry matcha was alright, matcha wasn't strong at all .. they don't really specialize in matcha so it's understandable -- ambience: I loved it, so many aesthetic places to sit at, it's such a vibe -- service: they were super sweet, drinks were quick, waited a couple minutes after for bagel CONS: -- parking: no parking, parking next to coffee shop is for employees only -- cups are pretty small, or maybe it's just me lol! Biggest is 16oz, not sure what I got

Amazing breakfast sandwich, turkey bacon egg and pesto!!

Great service, felt welcoming and the food was delicious!! Parking isn't the best but worth the spot.

They have a cute room to hang in aside from the regular cafe

I was around the area in Kailua and seen this place on Yelp. I'm so glad I chose to go here because I seen that they had my favorite coffee, Mac nut iced coffee. It was so so good. I did add another shot because I like my coffee strong. It was perfect. I also tried their banana nut bread muffin. It was super soft and I love how they add alot of walnuts in it. The service was super friendly and don't get me started on the place inside. So so cute and very spacious. They have a generous amount of space to choose to sit at! I love that they also have healthy drinks there! I am definitely going back to try their other options

Are you looking for a cutie coffee spot to go chat and spend time with your girlfriends? This is the spot. There's couches, table seating and chairs with an outside patio, too! Plenty of room for a big or small group. I've been here a few times and tried their Hawaiian latte (Macnut and vanilla), a specialty drink around Christmas and today's: blueberry matcha! YUM! I love that they go the extra step to mix your drink PERFECTLY so the syrup isn't just sitting at the bottom. Although it was busy, service was quick and the baristas were friendly! Cheers!

What a wonderful morning vibe spot! We were looking for a quiet cafe where we could sit and enjoy a good coffee. We knew we could get good coffee at Morning Brew down the street but the lines there are always ridiculous and it can get kinda noisy. We walked past a drive thru cafe with outdoor seating around the corner and knew that wasn't what we wanted either Then we found Rise & Grind. The ambience has a artsy, cute vibe but it's definitely a smaller cafe for people who just want to be. There's even nice outdoor seating in the back but unfortunately sometimes you'll smell cigarettes out there. No parking though.

I always wanted to visit this cafe after seeing so much of it on social media and hearing about it…read more I finally had the chance to visit today and my expectations were blown away. I expected it to be good, but wow - this place is AMAZING. Upon entering their cafe you are greeted by an amazing curation of plants lining an outdoor seating area. I can see this being such a wonderful area to relax and hold outdoor events. The sunshade over the outdoor area really represents the thought that was put into it for patrons of their cafe. The drinks were absolutely perfect and some of the best I have had on-island - and I go to a lot of cafes. This was just next level and they know exactly what they are doing. The barista who took our order (Kaya) was so gracious to explain and recommend what drinks would be great to try for a first-timer. I opted for the ceremonial grade matcha Wakaba (hot) no sugar, no milk, just straight matcha, and my dad got the pour-over (hot) Kau Delvin Navarro Pacamara Washed. Both drinks were excellent in addition to the signature Matcha Basque Cheesecake which paired perfectly with the drinks. My matcha was extremely smooth and paired perfect with the cheesecake. My dad's pour-over drink changed flavors as you kept drinking it. Definitely next-level stuff. This was honestly one of the best cafe experiences I have had so far and I hope I can come here more often because it has earned its spot as one of my most favorite cafes on-island.

OMG, this is a new find and I love this place!…read more This has quickly become one of my favorite cafes in the east side. The vibe is peaceful, aesthetic, calm, and welcoming, the baristas are incredibly kind, and the drinks are consistently excellent. So far I tried their matcha latte with almond milk and monk fruit and it was tasty, and then also had their version of the shaken espresso. The baristas aren't snobby and willing to customize your drink to fit your preferences which is great! They also have Wi-Fi if you need to work, cute merch, and plenty of space to relax. It's one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel better. I'll definitely be back again and again!

The menu isn't that big but we came there for the flavored matcha so not bad. I got the Island Matcha, my friend got the mango sticky rice matcha, strawberry matcha, and then a coffee. The island matcha (ube matcha) was great! The baristas were nice and said if I wanted to change it later (because I told them I was deciding on two things) then I can just tell them and they'll swap it out. The ube was pretty strong and it did make my tongue purple. Mixing my drink more the ube definitely overpowered the matcha. The mango sticky rice matcha wasn't really mango sticky rice. It was very coconut flavored and it felt okay. There were no hints of matcha at all. The strawberry matcha tasted like matcha at some points then tasted like straight strawberry milk.

Inside is airconditioned with around maybe 10 tables and chairs some seat 2 others eat 4 and they also have outside patio seating back and front. The parking can be challenging having maybe 10 -12 spots in their lot and some street parking . Their Menu is a bit more limited than their other location.
