AND the scrolling on a phone sucks because every menu item has a scroll bar in it so navigation can be useless. The wait is long even if you call ahead, but it's worth it. They are a little pricey, but the items are different and very good. You simply must try this place at least once. The wait staff was very busy, but still kept a smile and was kind. We were brought to our table around 11:00 just as a person was setting up to play some music. Worth the wait! After seeing their menu on line I knew I needed to stop in while I was in town and I was NOT disappointed! Absolutely cute location! The whole staff was kind and organized. They have their menu online easily accessible through a QR code and my are there options on options! Ordered the pink whitney but if I wanted another of the same it wasn't free. Only could get the original for free? Strange. Such a fun place! Was very nervous to eat inside during a pandemic but all seating was spread out, all staff wore a mask, and some patrons while waiting for their food. There is a QR code for the menu. We did have a small wait for 2 around peak brunch time, but well worth it! We ordered mimosas from a variety of flavors. We heard great things about this place and decided to give it a go. If you are going, make sure you go on the website and put your name down on the wait list. We waited almost an hour because we didn't know about the wait list. The waitlist is great because you can see everyone on the wait list and how long they have been waiting. It is a small place, so put your name on it. The items on the menu look outstanding. I got the Basic B, with some toast. The French Toast and the toast were not cooked all the way through. This was very disappointing with the toast because it was thick, and it tasted like I was eating bread, not toast. My wife got Pecan Banana French Toast. It was good but too sugary for a full breakfast. If we go back, she won't get it again. I think the food was OK. What really got me, was I thought some of the items are just over priced (for just OK food). For my wife and I, it was $41. And if you don't bring cash, they will tack on a 3.75% charge for using a credit card. We may give this place another try. I'm hoping the Toast and French Toast weren't cooked all the way through because it was so busy. We shall see. read more

I am new to Syracuse and decided to come here for the 1st time with my dad while he was visiting. There is little to no sitting room while waiting for a table so after a very long wait in the car we were seated right next to the door on a cold day. When our server finally arrived, she took our food order without asking for drinks, offering water, or giving us silverware. My first pick was unavailable because they ran out of its main ingredient. I was told my second option was removed from the menu months ago. After a third try of ordering food, we had to ask to put in a drink order of 1 black coffee and 1 Snickers latte. The coffee was terrible, and my latte was not even almost warm. Terrible experience and we surely will not be returning to eat here. read more

My bf and I are visiting my family from out of town, and him and I decided to get breakfast together on a Tuesday morning. We got to rise and shine at 9am after having to park down the street since the parking lot is too small and full. Walking in was extremely overwhelming, with just a big wall and neon sign that separates you and any acknowledgement from staff we had to walk around to find a hostess. After being told it was 15 minute wait we had to ask about a table after 30 to which the hostess pointed to a dirty table and saying sit there once it's clean we had to wait another 5 minutes till she decided to wipe it down herself. Upon sitting we got water glasses that had lip stick still on the rim of both glasses. We ordered everything in one go because we weren't sure if the server was ever coming back to the table. We waited 15 minutes to get any drinks and another 35 mins to get our food. The people who were next to us who came after us got their food first, and when she brought my food out it was the wrong one and she said "my bad I grabbed the wrong one" taking it back and bringing me mine. I feel like the staff was very unorganized and inattentive. Trying to get anyone's attention for items was impossible. The only thing that gave this place it's good stars was the food because when it did finally come out it was delicious. The food is definitely Instagram worth but the atmosphere is cramped, small, unorganized, and time consuming. read more

Went here for my birthday brunch. The cocktails were epic. There were 3 other people there who also had a birthday. The food was so good too. My boyfriend got a Benny flight and enjoyed them all and I got the brisket Benny so good. He got a mimosa flight which was a little sweet for him. Over-rated! If you're looking for breakfast, there are dozens more (better) options. But my wife had raved about her previous experience there, I relented and went. From the confusing wait-time app to finding out there are actually 2 lists for seating (call-ahead and those who are actually there) and the call-ahead list trumps anyone who was there, my patience was thin after a 45 minute wait. I'm not going into the food- it's hard to screw up scrambled eggs and bacon. But eggs arrived first, 5 minutes later, the home fries arrive. 5 more minutes go by and I'm wondering where the toast is. Finally showed up after I asked for it. Last word on my food: $4.49 for a cup of black coffee is ridiculous. My wife's Benny flight was great, according to her. Now that I've given this place a chance to earn my business, I won't be coming back. I also stopped going to the now closed Rise n Grind in Township 5, after a few trips, and getting stiffed on a bad pastry. I've read a lot about this company, and I guess I'm not as concerned about being precious in my dining choices as other diners are. I'm sure this company won't experience any damage from my review, which is not my intention. I just think there's a lot of people who haven't tried this place and are expecting something elevated. Met a friend for breakfast this morning. This was my 1st time here. Very cute place. We got there at 8am and got a table immediately. No hand held menus, you need to use your phone. It's mildly irritating but a lot of places are doing that since Covid. With this place though, the menu is via the online ordering. So, we couldn't figure out how to click on an item to see the full description without it going into placing an order. This seems to be the place to go if you want over the top concoctions and some interesting choices. I stuck with basics and ordered a veggie omelet. It came with home fries and toast. It looked delicious but was a little bit of a let down. The home fries which were perfectly crisp were way over peppered. It was seriously too spicy for me. (My friend said the same) I also would have preferred the onion to be sauteed. The omelet was ok but I feel like it needed a little cheese to bring it all together. It was a little bland without it. I could have added cheese I'm sure but I didn't realize i was going to need it. The italian toast was good. The coffee was delicious and strong but we waited for a really long time for a refill. It also took a while to get our food. The staff are very friendly. Maybe I will try it again sometime but I won't be rushing back. read more

I work graveyard shift at the hospitals quite a bit and this is the perfect spot to hit up with coworkers after a long night to get some good food and post-shift drinks. The portions are HUGE. I usually can handle eating off someone else's leftovers at restaurants, but here I can barely finish my own. I recommend the spicy avocado wrap, the home fries. The Benedicts are also a huge hit, but I can't comment on all of them. I think I've had the monte Cristo and the pork belly, which was a bit too fatty for me. Drinks are all pretty good too. They have what some call Adult Capri Suns, alcohol they serve in pouches. Price is a little steep, but I highly recommend this place. They do have 2 locations, and the one on Westcott is newer, and sometimes I think they serve a different menu at the two different spots. read more

This place is for Instagram. They make it seem like there are long waits on purpose, even when they're not busy so that you think it's going to be good. But almost everything I've eaten here has been slightly better than edible. The eggs are never cooked properly, the potatoes are cooked and seasoned unevenly, the toast isn't, and basically the only breakfast item worth discussing is the corned beef hash, made with real corned beef, not the dog food stuff. The last time I ordered this, it was chewy, fatty, and had been clearly been sitting out at room temperature. The quality of the ingredients is about what you'd get from the clearance rack at a grocery store. The coffee is alright, but they give you tiny cups and the staff often disappears, so good luck getting another cup. The sandwiches don't taste like food. I'm not sure where the bread comes from, but it doesn't taste like there's food in it. Also, the sandwiches seem to be assembled by someone who's never had one. Save your money.
