He gave me and my sister the run down of each section. He went over the different types of olive oils and made sure we knew to sample those we wanted to try. I sampled several different flavors, but I made a purchase of the Harissa olive oil since I was completely out of the one I had from a different company. At the time of my visit there was only one other person browsing around. Then after my sister and I arrived, a few more people came it. It was quiet with low music playing in the background. It was a really great first experience thanks to Tommy.

We ended up purchasing some prickly pear cactus candy and their in house made mountain bark. Mountain Bark ($5.25 per square) - This is essentially an improved rice crispy treat crossed with fudge. There are tons of crispy popped rice bits interspersed with soft gooey marshmallows, some chewier melted white chocolate bits, and plenty of peanut butter flavor. It's a denser cake vs. a light and fluffy rice crispy treat, but is, dare I say, more delicious. We tried the Citrus Beet salad, which had pretty much all of my favorite ingredients: beets, arugula, candied walnuts, and more, along with a bowl of potato cream cheese soup and a tri tip sandwich. The sandwich was good, but the soup and salad were definitely my favorites. Everything felt fresh and satisfying, and it was exactly the kind of meal we were looking for. Wildflower is kind of like Stonefire Grill in Southern California in that it feels like a reliable casual local chain with a lot of good options, and I LOVED that there are several locations around Arizona. If Wildflower were to ever branch out to southern California I'd probably visit monthly and I'd happily return to try more of their refreshing items.
