I like to take my boys here for ice cream. They have great prices! The employees could be friendlier though.

Where else can you get stuff like ibuprofen after 6:00 pm on Sunday? Don't forget the ice cream!

I contacted CVS customer service first, and they let me know I could return or exchange it at the CVS I purchased it from or any other location. I went back to the same CVS, and Elsa immediately helped me by getting the manager, Eric. RJ then assisted with processing the return/exchange, and the entire process was flawless and seamless. Everyone was extremely helpful, welcoming, and genuinely eager to fix what I came in for. There was zero hesitation, no pushback, and absolutely no hassle. They scanned my receipt, checked to make sure the item was in stock, grabbed it for me, and I was out the door in less than two minutes. Seriously one of the smoothest customer service experiences I've had. If I could give a million out of a million, I would--but since that's not an option, I'm giving a well-deserved 5 out of 5.

She acted annoyed when I told her I've forgotten how to use my OTC card since I've only used it once/twice at their branch. She brusquely asked if I was a member. After telling her I don't remember, she curtly replied "then you're not a member" without even bothering to check with my phone number. I asked her if she could check with my phone number, and she tersely replied "what's your phone number?"; she found out I was. The whole time, her demeanor was frosty, unwelcoming, and rude. There was no smile, no kindness in her eyes; just plain condescension. It's really bad for the business and clients if a client-facing employee obviously doesn't like her job and is ill-mannered. Her character clearly showed, and it was apparent that she wasn't "just having a bad day". And just in case she'll make an excuse of "having a bad day"; no matter what, you never bring your problems to work. When you work dealing with customers, a little warmth and kindness never hurt anyone. After the transaction, and before going out to the exit, I quietly told her "you know what, you could do better with a smile"; she tersely and frostily replied with the same cold eyes and hard, unsmiling face "have a good day". Before encountering Heidi, I've never heard "have a good day" spoken in such a robotic manner, with an attitude furthest from what the phrase supposedly means. Have some warm chicken soup, Heidi. Hopefully, it'll take you out of Mordor even for just a few minutes.

When I called today, Linda told me she could not verify which prescription I had available for pickup using my birthday or the prescription number Rayles had texted me. Instead, she insisted that I list all the prescriptions I have ever filled at Rayles. I was taken aback; I had never heard that this was a requirement. I explained that I couldn't recall all the names off the top of my head and asked if she could verify my information using my birthday. She refused, stating that they don't do that, and insisted I must provide the names of all my medications. I inquired whether this practice aligned with the standards set by the California State Board of Pharmacy. At that point, she abruptly placed me on hold. When she returned, she again requested the names of all my medications and my phone number. I repeated my request: "Can you please verify using my birthday? Isn't this a permissible method according to California law?" She responded, "No, Rayles does NOT do this!" She added, "Rayles has its own way, and the pharmacist, Lisa, is right here listening to you; you're on speaker." At no time did I permit my personal information and conversation to be shared on speaker with other customers within earshot. Throughout this interaction, Linda repeatedly put me on hold, hung up on me, refused to answer my questions, and made me feel highly uncomfortable, especially when she informed me, toward the end of our conversation, that I was on speaker. Linda has consistently demonstrated an unprofessional attitude not only towards customers but also towards her colleagues. I have often witnessed her use demeaning language when speaking to her coworkers and boast about her years of experience as a pharmacy technician, which, in her own words, gives her the right to place customers on hold for 40 minutes if she wants to. It's disappointing that both customers and her colleagues tolerate her unprofessional behavior. Every other pharmacy technician I have interacted with has been professional, respectful of privacy, and compliant with state law.

Generally, Walgreens is my preferred drugstore. But since I have moved, the one closest to (on…read moreAlhambra Ave). has a really hard time getting things right. I usually place my order via the app. I have had them show up without items, and then tell me I can come pick it up at the store if I want it. When I order things to be picked up, its not ready. And tonight, my delivery was supposed to come at 7:30. At 9:00, I hadn't even gotten a text so I went to the on line chat and was told the store was still processing my order and I could call them to check on it. So I called. Too bad the store was already closed. Good thing my order just included house hold items and not medicine. Although, last week my son was waiting and waiting for days to get an update on his prescription. When he finally called, they said they couldn't process it without more information...why didn't they notify him of that they needed more information?! Clearly the managers don't take pride in the store or they would require the employees to do more than a half-assed job. I upgraded my rating to two stars because I called about my order this morning, and spoke to a lovely, polite lady about my order. She was very concerned that there was a problem and apologetic. At first she couldn't find any reference to the order so I said I would place it again. But a few minutes later, she called back and said she found the order and would fill it right away. She was very friendly and that made a huge difference. The few clerks that I have interacted with have generally been indifferent and non-caring. Customer interaction matters!

The pharmacy hours are not the same as the store hours…read more Monday through Friday: 9 AM to 7 PM. Saturday: 10 AM to 6 PM Sunday: 11 AM to 5 PM. Well finally! I managed to link my Extracare account with my main CVS account! CVS without the extra care program is nearly useless. You get some coupons every time you fill your prescription, but that is a very limited reward program. However, once you link it to extra care, CVS becomes much more interesting. All the extra care sales come to play and you get a coupon which stacks on top of the sale. As far as I can tell all the prices in the store have been adjusted for the dollar coupon you receive every time at the pharmacy. Which makes every item in the store more expensive than their rivals. But once you add the coupon to whatever extra care specials are available, the prices become much more attractive. However, their inventory is still pretty limited compared to a big box store. It seems to me that your best bet is the coupon play. Generally, this means you're picking off a few items where the coupons, the loyalty program, and the specials all stack. I noticed the specials sell out quickly. so the specials are even more limited than you can imagine. Well, with the reward program, they've enticed me into buying one item per trip. If it sounds like I'm not enthused, you're right. At the present time I feel no need to go to CVS unless I have a prescription I wanna pick up. Pharmacy hours are not the same as the store hours. The pharmacy is still a five star experience. The store has risen from a zero star experience all the way to a two star experience.

After a routine doctors appointment my medication's were sent to this pharmacy. Keep in mind, these are medications I must take daily. One day prior to refill. I called to confirm the medication is in stock and was assured that I could be picked up the following day. The following day, I called again because I did not get a text message like I typically do when meds are ready for pick up. I was informed they had no record of refill from my doctor. I called the doctor and let them know and the prescription was resent. It's now Friday morning and I'm wondering when I will be able to pick up my meds. I call again and leave a voice message. A clerk calls me back to tell me my meds cannot be filled because the doctor is not registered or licensed. I promptly call and wait to speak with a pharmacist and explain ~ "this can't be the case". They resend a request for a new prescription. I called the doctor's office and it looks like everything's going to be cleared up. We are three hours from CVS closing and I'm trying to follow up... "When I can pick up the meds?" I call again and speak to a clerk. I am told they are out of stock. I can't even believe this is happening. We're going into a weekend and I have to wait till Monday??? This is not possible. They tell me they will transfer the prescription to another pharmacy in another city. I call the pharmacist of that CVS location and they tell me the system will not allow the transfer. Fast forward to Monday. It's 6:40 PM... I'm finally picking up my prescription ~ now 4 days late & they close at 7PM.. Ironically, the lady in front of me was picking up depression, meds, and the same thing happened to her AT THE PICK-UP COUNTER! They told her they did not have time to run payment through insurance so she would have to come back the following day. Lastly, there were 9 people still in line that were told to come back the following day because, " WE ARE NOW CLOSING" Something is seriously wrong with this pharmacy. Aside from pharmacist Kaley, the front staff was uncommonly RUDE. I will TRANSFER my meds to another pharmacy ~ NOT CVS BRAND! WHAT CAN CVS DO BETTER? Corporate should look into AI for medication fulfillment. I'm not one for technology to override employment of humans, but obviously CVS is struggling and doesn't have the ability to hire sufficient and trained staff. Bring in good pharmacist for QC and let AI do the rest. When possible, run deliveries through the mail.

The pharmacy staff and employees have always been courteous and helpful to the best of their abilities. However, CVS is a monster. This organization is evil, and to detail that statement is beyond my ability to elaborate on in this short review. I will say this; the new pharmacy set up is awful. It is not HIPAA compliant because you can hear word for word everything each patient at the pharmacy window is saying, including their personal information, their prescriptions, etc. To make this matter worse, CVS has installed thick plexiglass between the pharmacy worker and the patient. So the patient has to basically yell in order for the pharmacy worker to hear them. Therefore, half the store can hear the person giving their name and birthdate, etc. So consider that hundreds of people are walking through the typical CVS pharmacy line per day and yelling at plexiglass... it is disgusting to see the spittle that is all over the glass and rarely cleaned. These employees are always shortstaffed and now they have to clean plexiglass between customers? Ick factor high. I need to find a new pharmacy. Lastly, don't ever try to call this pharmacy because you'll be thrown into an AI hell hole. You will not speak with a human being. If you're lucky, you will end up in a voicemail and get a call back.
