it's too late to improve anything now, but the pharmacy appeared to work well enough in 2024 and earlier this year. Perhaps more clients transferred out to another making it less daunting for pharmacy staff to refill meds timely and avoid whatever it is that makes a technician decide they can keep your daily meds from you even though 28 days is not "refill too early" per law. Last month they appeared to lose my doctor's rx and said there were no refills which left when I see her every other month. Then they said she didn't include a diagnosis code. None of these meds are new for me. It was resolved, so I let it go. But not without a lot of contacting both parties and they have gotten me in trouble with my doctor before for a similar issue. Losing an rx is suspicious even though it's out of patients' hands. Because they were closing forever soon, I called a day early to make sure they had meds in stock and they blamed my rx processing difficulty on me calling "too early." No accountability on their end. This month, I called the day when my refill is due, for the same reason, was told "they're working on it" and they hung up on me. I then found one of my meds to be out of stock as I'm picking up. Why did they not pay closer attention over the phone or offer to just transfer the med to a new pharmacy since that's what needs to be done now anyway? Instead they had me forfeit my rx for a partial fill. When following up, they didn't even listen to my question, which was to see if they got more in stock before their closing date, and they said yes and made sure to let me know how the small amount of pills are "supposed to last" (I didn't say they didn't). 2 weeks later when I was supposed to be able to pick up the remaining, they told my husband a different story, that they "weren't sure if they would be able to fill it last week, sorry, but will work on it now." Not true, they told me they had it last week but would not dispense it. And it's outrageous we had to call back for them to process it. I hope I don't see any of these staff members ever again (except for two of the more helpful OG technicians from 2015) around at whichever pharmacy I end up (Too late). When I had the especially frustrating interaction of being punished because they ran out of stock and wouldn't transfer to get my full amount, I did complain in a survey but nothing ever came of it. So, this rite aide is not the classiest. It definitely looks worse for wear. Good news was the pharmacy was quick in filing a script. They also had thrifty ice cream. Sadly, they were out of black cherry. I wanted to buy a glass bottle of Mexican coke. But, they didn't have a bottle opener! read more

I know they're having problems and the shelves are getting pretty empty. But it's still fully staffed. There's a lot of merchandise there with some decent prices. That means really good prices. The pharmacy is running. I encourage you to support them. read more

I have been going to rite aide for years. Cathy that works in the pharmacy on Creston is the best, however I have also seen some really unprofessional, rude staff. Asking a question is sometimes a chore for them, I have also been hung up on. I have had all my meds there and even have gotten my shots as well as my husbands shots there. There were some meds that I have to take for pain, and I understand the concern in this area however the doctor I am seeing has been banned from Rite Aide, so I had to find another pharmacy that would take all of my meds. I had also found out that when filling this certain medication they did not run it through my insurance and never told me they were doing this. So when transferring the medications from rite aide to the new pharmacy they wanted to know why this was not ran under my insurance, I told them I thought it was. The sad thing about all of this is that the patients that are under doctors care are the ones who suffer. Since this has happened I will not go into rite aide to shop anymore. It felt like I was being judge because of the medication I was on, especially when the pharmacy has no idea what I am being treated for. I am happy with the new pharmacy and the pharmacist takes the time to explain things to me. I hope rite aide can turn things around. read more

I would like to compliment Jessica in the pharmacy for her outstanding customer service. Being sick I had shortness of breath walking from the entrance to the back so I decided to sit down before going to the counter. She noticed and offered to come to me for my information to get my meds. When your by yourself those acts of kindness is very much appreciated. Bravo for our future young people. read more

I WAS RIPPED OFF! I will never shop here again. I felt very ill with the flu and went to Rite Aid because was the closest to my house. They charged $30.99 for a bottle Coricidan High Blood Pressure cold medicine. I looked online and Target charges $10.99 FOR THE SAME THING. How greedy can a retailer be? It is just ok! I do have to say they are more stocked then the other pharmacy stores in town but I have been a reward member for years and I have never gotton any kind of rewards certificates or nothing not even coupons from them So i stopped shopping there and took my business to our other local pharmacy where I do get lots of rewards dollars off and coupons . The pharmacist today was extremely rude. My husband was released from the hospital this morning and the doctors told us his pain meds would be ready. They weren't ready (which I understand) and the pharmacist told me that "the hospitals know nothing." The cashier helping me mentioned she (the pharmacist) was working on the Rx right then in which the pharmacist told her I was last in line and needed my husbands ID anyways. I had his ID and showed and her she rolled her eyes. They told me they'd text me as soon as it was ready and 4.5 hours later I come back and it had been ready yet no one contacted me. He was supposed to take these meds 2 hours ago. It's hard watching a loved one suffer and someone who is in healthcare be so uncaring and insensitive. I'll never go back there after today. Rite Aid needs to do better. read more

Does it sound stupid that I love a pharmacy? But I do. Every time I travel through Paso Robles on my way to Santa Barbara, I stop at this Rite Aid. The employees make me feel like family. Store is clean. Bathrooms are clean. Shelves are stocked. Keep up the good work Rite Aid! read more

This Rite-Aid is clean and looks good. The cashiers are friendly. Prices are reasonable and sale prices are great. Also if you are in the mood for ice cream they have great prices on scooped ice cream cones. read more

They claim to have "activated" several gift cards and when I went to have them activate them they refused to fix or refund me

Shelves were empty, clearly needing to be stocked. The whole store smelled of a public restroom. Overall impression was a dirty store that is understaffed and under stocked. read more

Every time I take my kids here to get icecream its closed. Its always the same supervisor and same excuse. Everyone else seems to have it together and get ice cream any time. It used to only be closed on a rare occasions. Now its closed several times a week. Hardly worth driving over there for :( read more
