I was recommended by a friend to come here for my wedding nails! I never get my nails done so I was super nervous. Annie and Natalie were amazing. Natalie did my pedicure while Annie did my nails. Annie did an absolutely GORGEOUS job on my ombre dip powder nails, and Natalie was so gentle and perfectly matched the gel color on my toes to my hands. They were both so incredibly patient with me as I went back and forth on color. And Annie could tell I was nervous so she told me she would ask for my input every step of the way. When Natalie finished my toes and Annie was still working on my hands, she gave me a neck massage which was the most relaxed I had felt in months of stressful wedding planning. First of all, I think that they're newly renovated and redecorated salon is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It doesn't have the clutter and the stress that I'm used to when I'm going to a nail salon. There are so many beautiful and smiling employees ready to help you as soon as you walk in. Their massage chairs are better than most, I promise! For me personally Annie did such a great job with my nail art. I show her a picture and she does it without question to a T! Kathy is so gentle and sweet when it comes to pedicures. I could not help but fall asleep. They also have a massage therapist that can come by and massage you while you are getting your nails done. I have been going to Ritz Nail for 6 years for Maggie. She was amazing but she doesn't work anymore there so I had to have waxing with Emily last time. And it was the WORST experience ever. She wasn't mean to me but she's talking so rude and unprofessional. She was swearing millions of times(!) Also after a while she said she was tired and her back hurts she decided to sit and I was just waiting for her?! She did a very bad job and I had to go another place to fix whatever she had been done. Emily had no idea how to do waxing. She even told me she hasn't been done waxing for a long time but I thought she's just joking with me and trusted her I wish I didn't. read more

They insisted that my skin was so dry I must have some treatment that I couldn't understand what they were saying, then suddenly the pedicurist looks up and says you should do your eyebrows, really??? I had a broken nail no mention of fixing it! What is wrong with these people I came for a relaxing time and left extremely unhappy!! I will never go there again under any circumstances. read more

I tried to give this place a chance, I really did. I've been here about 3 times and I will never return again. I thought because it's located in such a beautiful area and the place looks very well put together, that the service would reflect all that. Service is fast yes, but they don't listen to anything you ask for. I requested ombré the first time I came and supposedly they knew how to do it. Instead the employee was so frustrated that she made a huge scene all because I was telling her to fixed and reshape my nails. This second time I came, they completely disregarded the shape I asked for and attempted to blame me for their mistakes. Mind you I act extremely kind as I'm communicating with them but because they knew I left upset the first time they were all against me. They began talking in their language and starting at me making my experience extremely uncomfortable. On top of that I was the only Latina in the shop and every white female was received so kindly and welcoming. I certainly was not received in that manner. I was more stressed than relaxed. My nails came out so short round and clumpy. Their prices do not match their service. The photos don't really do it justice. Decided to treat myself to a gel pedicure today, decided to go to this place instead of my usual because I was shopping in ulta at the time and this was the closest place. Unfortunately I made a huge mistake and got the laziest pedicure I've ever gotten. I show up and it looked nice inside and was hoping I would get good service but I was wrong. Problem #1: the person doing my nails started to drill off the previous gel I had on my toes instead of soaking them off. To me this is very lazy and damaging to my nail beds. Problem #2: the woman decided that she wasn't going to scrub my feet at all. She pretended like she attempted to but did not scrub my heels whatsoever. It's been included in every pedicure I've ever gotten in the past. Problem #3: the pedicure was rushed the whole time. Not sure if she had an appointment behind me, but I'm paying for a service and should be receiving the WHOLE service I'm paying for. Problem #4: the picture speaks for itself. Look at the horrible and uneven work done on my toe. Problem #5: lotion was not put on my heels. Honestly I'm embarrassed to even wear open toed shoes at this point and the person who was doing my nails should NOT be doing nails. I've been getting pedicures regularly for 10 years and this was by far the worst I've ever gotten. read more

Normally at other salons, my nails would be sore after they used the electric nail drill but Natalie was extremely gentle and to my surprise my nails weren't sore after. They have a lot of OPI colors (like over 300), so I didn't know what color to choose. However, the manager, Amy, was nice enough to help me choose a color that was so pretty!! Everyone who works there makes you feel very comfortable and they make sure you have a great experience. Plus, I think their new renovations make the salon look so beautiful and inviting. I was NOT happy with this service, they barely cleaned any dead skin off my toes, I got a painful infection on my right toe that hurt. THEY DID NOT USE TUB LINERS. I had dead skin under my toe nails they didnt clean out. The lady doing my toes used the buffer to remove the nail polish off my toes and nicked my toe skin several times. I burned soo bad when she put alcohol on it. My finger nail polish peeled off in like 1.5 weeks, other than that, manicure was ok. For $80-$100 dollars for gel mani pedi not a good value. I will not return here. read more

They do a good job so 3 stars for that. The prices are reasonable being that they're in a beach community. One of the nail technicians, I think her name is Linda, she does a good job but is extremely pushy in adding things on and asks for a tip. I never have encountered other places that ask for a tip. I always intend on tipping so the fact that she asks, how much are you going to tip before even giving me my total or a chance to pay and asks for cash immediately for a tip is a little icky to me. I wish they'd clean up their etiquette a little and not treat their customers as just a source of money but more like humans. This last time, I handed her a cash tip for both what I thought would be my mani and pedi and she pocketed the whole thing and asked me to tip the pedicure tech again. I mean, I think they forgot that their just doing manis & pedis and not rocket science that people are going to be tipping like 40%. Just a little distasteful. read more

Today I went in for polish removal on my toes & callus removal. I've had this service done many times here in the past & the pricing has always been very fair- I'm typically charged $15 for polish removal + cuticle cutting & $5 for callus removal. However, today I was charged $35. Mind you I was told this mid-service so I was not in a position to up & leave, but I am appalled by what a rip off that is. When I voiced confusion to the nail tech, all she did was reiterate that polish removal + callus removal would be $35. Had I know that to begin with I would have penciled out more time to at least have my toes painted. I tipped her $5 (which I now regret) so the grand total to *literally have my toenail polish removed* was $40. Safe to say I'm never returning here. There are plenty of other, nicer, salons with much better pricing than Ritz. read more

I only needed my toenails trimmed, and polish applied, because I had twisted my foot, and it was too sore for a regular pedicure. Well, you'd think I'd committed a heinous sin! My operator was out of sorts because I couldn't get a full pedicure, and I felt like she was scolding me for something that wasn't my fault.
