I came here based on reviews. Avoid if possible. Small, old and dirty are my best descriptors here. I was shocked. I wish we would have turned around and left. I paid $30 for a pedicure that was essentially a polish change in a massage chair -- and not a particularly good one. Don't expect to be offered a glass of wine or Diet Coke. Don't expect to be whisked away to a rejuvenating stress free experience. Don't expect clean tools from an autoclaved bag. I hate saying this because I normally try to promote small businesses, but I'm at home regretting my choices and hoping I don't have a foot fungus. read more

*UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT* I always visited this salon to see Dung (spelling?) and Mindy. They're always so welcoming and make sure I get my nails done before my lunch is over. I was pretty disappointed to find out that Dung sold her salon and it's now under new management by Tina. Tina, however, is just as wonderful and definitely experienced in what she does. After talking with her, she's been in the business for over 30 years and has owned shops in Palm Springs and New York. She used to train nail techs as well. What I love about the change is how much Tina promotes organic and natural products. I came in asking for a full set (acryllic), but she showed me a dip powder method that is much better for my nails, with no harsh chemicals, and much more natural looking. My pedicure also came with a sea salt foot scrub and an organic foot cream rub. She also supports students and (I believe) she has discounts for them. read more

WORTH THE READ! DO NOT VISIT UNLESS YOU WANT HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I was in the area on vacation. If I could give 0 stars I would. I came in and off the bat it just seems like a really unhygienic store. They just have plastic bags over tubs and very squeezed together. No space for like 5 people inside. Just not comforting overall. I was put in a pedicure chair and the I told her that I only want manicure. She said ok just sit there and told me to choose a color. She went from left to right of the manicure chair to do each hand. Very annoying. The color options were dirty and only had like 30 colors to choose from. I had pretty long nails and 2 were broken so I wanted to add acrylic and keep my length to the two that were broken. The lady didn't know how to do it and asked someone to do it for her. So I had to wait. So they had to come over and add acrylic to my nail. Made it seem as if she wasn't a nail technician at all. She started to file my nails and i told her i want to keep the shape and size. She didn't even bother to respond just looked at me. She filed them down how she wanted not how I asked her to. In the picture you will see my real nails except the middle nail. The middle nail is the acrylic they added, and you can see that, the nail is super wonky rather then my real nails. I asked for white, and she gave the this very spotty white where u can see through the color. She did three coats and it just looked horrible. Their price for a gel manicure was 37 dollars. But I was charged 47 dollars, when I asked why... she said 5 dollars per nail for the acrylic. Just shocked. I had no choice but to say thank you and pay. I came to my hotel crying because all I wanted was nice nails, and came back with worse nails. I got to work and took them off by buying acetone. And i just bought regular polish to have some color. After a couple days for us to come back to our house I took of the polish then I got home I did my own gel nails. And look at the difference. She didn't even clean my cuticles. Just horrible. Zoom in please and you will see what I am talking about. Last but not least the entire time the employees were talking amongst themselves. And you can tell they were talk a bunch of cr** because one would say something and they all look at you and laugh. They probably said something about my toes because I didn't want my toes done, because I just got them done a week before and they all looked at my toes at the same time. And started smiling at me as if I dont notice that they are talking sh** Never again. read more

By far one of the best nail salons in town! Affordable and great quality service right in CDM. Tucked in the back of a little shopping center you will find a nice clean salon owned by Tina who takes great care in making sure your nails are exactly how you want them. I went to Ciel Bleu this evening and received one of the best gel manicures I've ever gotten. Tina even took the time to remove any stray gel polish before curing under the light with a brush dipped in acetone. I also received a great pedicure by Mindy who took her time even though it was close to closing time and made sure to give a lengthy massage and clean my nails and calluses appropriately. If you have not tried out Ciel Bleu yet, you definitely need to! Just make sure you call ahead for an appointment as it is a small salon with only 4 chairs and a few girls working there. read more

It is a small shop hidden from the main street and they were nice and friendly. No issues while I was getting the work done. However when I got home I realized the awful job that had been done. I chose a neutral color and that's why I probably didn't catch it while I was there. They did not paint ask the way to the cuticle and the second coat doesn't even make it to the top of the first coat and it was ask very uneven. I wanted to give this place a chance but if this is the work they do, I won't be returning. By 3:00 p.m. I was relaxing in my chair at Ciel Bleu, receiving one of the best mani/pedis I have ever had. It's been a full week and my nails still look at if they had just been done yesterday. Great pedicure! My toes aren't pretty so I'll spare you the feet shot- but they look greater than normal trust me! Great service, ladies are friendly, awesome foot massage and beautiful, seamless, paint job. They took me right away per my appointment time and didn't rush me out for the open chair. The best value in CDM for $15 a pop. It's not easy to spot from the street but they're down a little alleyway next to the Italian leather goods shop between Goldenrod and Fernleaf. This is a great nail salon, off the beaten path. It's small & cozy; there was only one other client in there when I walked in, so I only waited a few short minutes. The nail technician, Kim, did an excellent job on my manicure. Got a gel mani for $25. She has been in the nail business for over 10 years, so I highly suggest you go when she is there (Mondays).
