    Pork 8 Egg Rolls
    Leilani M.

This is a small little spot on the corner of N. Torrey Pines & West Lake Mead. After seeing their video on TikTok, I came out to show my support for this business. While I was waiting, the lovely older woman there gave me an Iced Thai tea (free of charge). She informed me it was for being patient and waiting. This is a "mom & pop" business and so it will not be as quick as other places. But that is ok! You wanna know why?! Well for starters, their appetizer of 8 pork egg rolls is delicious, not soggy & has that crisp crunch when biting into them. Secondly, their Shrimp Pad See Ew is Chef's kiss!!! Third, their crab fried rice is da bomb.com especially when you add chili oil on it!! I gotta say, their prices are amazing as well. Now, to be honest, if you don't want to wait, then call your order in because I see that the owner makes sure those orders are done & ready for pick up. If you have time to wait (like I did)...then be patient, sit back & relax, and wait for the most delicious Thai food ever!!! I put that on my mama, hands down 100%!!! The saying is: the best things comes to those that wait & that is the truth! If you love Thai food & spice....come & check them out. I promise you, your tastebuds will love it!!!

I made the drive to this family owned restaurant after seeing it on Tik Tok. The service was great! I ordered ahead of time so when I arrived, we only had to wait a little bit. The owner was very welcoming. The food was made fresh to order. We live 30 minutes away and by the time I got home, the food was still hot. Very delicious! We ordered the egg rolls, crab Rrangoon, pad see yew, and fried rice. Also ordered a Thai tea. She had made a few holes in the boxes for the crab Rangoon and the egg rolls so when I got home, they were still crunchy! The food was very delicious. I'm definitely going back!

4 Chicken Satay and Egg Roll

There's a lot of great things about this new place. First, a late night (open til midnight!) place in the NW. Most Thai places close around 9-9:30pm in the area so River 9's new extended hours are a huge plus! The service - owners are VERY nice, very cordial and really trying to earn your business. They quoted me 20 min on the take out and it was spot on. I walked in and my food was being bagged up. The food - Chicken Satay comes with four skewers and a peanut sauce. The chicken had good flavor but a little over done so it was slightly chewy/tough. The peanut sauce had good flavor, it is very thick though. I decided to loosen up the sauce a little at home with some hot water and it was a perfect consistency after that. Chicken Fried Rice - good flavor and they give you a really big portion. They do have some different veggies in the fried rice including peas and Lima beans and corn. While interesting, I didn't mind it and I thought the flavor of the fried rice was really good! The Pad Kapao was also very flavorful, great taste. Overall, a solid new place (just opened 6 months ago!) for take out!

This is NOT an authentic Thai restaurant. The food is full, no flavor whatsoever. Probably the worst Thai food I have ever had

Amazing yellow curry, one of the best I've had! And their Thai tea is exceptional as well, especially in the heat

Walked in and it really needs a makeover. It really looks like a hole in the wall restaurant and is. But don't let that fool you on the food. I walked in and this place was full of Thai patrons . Which made me feel the food will be authentic. I ordered the manage curry. Their spice level is 1-10. I ordered a 4. My server shook his head. I ordered a 3. He pointed down more. I ordered a 2. He agreed. The curry came filled with veggies and chicken. Level 2 was flavorful with a touch of spice. I think a 3 would have been perfect. But the 4 too much heat.

This one's definitely worth it. Their servings are larger than other asian restaurants out there, and needless to say, the flavor doesn't suffer from it either. This has now become one of my absolute Lao/Thai places in the valley. The food tastes homecooked, and again, hefty servings. The service is also fairly good, and the server is very attentive. It is quite a drive for me but I will frequest this place like no other. It is worth the mileage. We had the boat noodles, thai sausage, raw larb (YES!! one of the places that carry this), pad see ew.. ALL were delicious. Due to the good portions, we actually had food leftover to eat the next day! Quite a LV gem, will always recommend.

We shared the short rib fried rice (bonus tip: order with an egg and a side of gravy - I'm told the other location doesn't have it!) and either the Pad Kee Mow or the Pad See Ewe with pork. Both were really delicious! The term unctuous comes to mind - you'll want to keep eating despite getting full. I also think the prices are reasonable. This location is a bit busier than the other, unsurprisingly with being located on Fremont. Because of that, parking will be trickier. I can't recall if they take reservations but it's worth calling ahead. Our severe was friendly and attentive and the interior of the restaurant is nice and clean. I think it might be a bit smaller than the other location. If you're looking for a great place to eat especially while down on Fremont, check out Le Thai!

My fiancé and I love Thai food and always make an effort to try new spots around Vegas. We recently…read moretried Ocha Thai which is located on Las Vegas Blvd near the Arts District. Thankfully there is ample parking, which is a huge plus for be area. Being a Wednesday evening, it was pretty empty but they have a large dining area and a lounge with a stage near the entrance. I assume they have live music occasionally. Our waiter was very attentive, almost too much as he checked on us multiple times in a matter of minutes asking if we were ready to order. After scouring the menu, we opted for the Shrimp with Pepper Sauce and the Mixed Vegetables with Shrimp. Spice level we went with 8 and 9 respectively. I found my spice to be perfect (9), my fiance thought the 8 was a little mild. The flavor of both of our dishes was great though! The pepper sauce was deep and well developed, while the sauce in the mixed vegetables was good but paled in comparison. We both agreed this was one of the better Thai spots we've had in Vegas, however, and would definitely go back!

She's not even a local here like I am now, but she has decades of experience coming to Vegas for conventions and this is one of her go-to places for Thai. Service was quick and good, lots of tables. Disposable chopsticks. Free soda refills. We ordered a few Thai iced teas (7/10 - a bit watered down), Lao-style papaya salad (6/10 - Mom said it was saltier today than the last few times she had it), large Tom yum soup (8/10 - generous chicken pieces but def more on the sour side), Thai beef jerky (6.5/10 - I wasn't a fan but more than half of our table liked it), crying tiger steak (7/10 - had a few fatty chewy pieces that were not consumable, had to spit out), pad Thai (9/10), pad kra pow with minced pork (9/10), and yellow curry (9/10). They have another location closer to where we live so we def want to try that one out sometime. Overall, we would eat here again for the authenticity of the flavors and for the great service.
