Our third time ordering Thai from Chef Million through DoorDash!! Everything we have tried has tasted amazing. Our go to right now is the chicken basil fried rice, chicken curry and pad thai. Total was $78 for the three items including delivery charges and tip. Portion sizes are large though so the 3 dishes serve our family of 5 and we still have leftovers. Placed a catering order for a party a few weeks in advance. Birthday girl loves this place and raves about their pork belly fried rice and their Pad Thai. Two large trays of her favorite dish and it was ready as promised. The staff here are friendly and welcoming, the dining area was seems to be able to accommodate about 50 people. The place is kept clean and well maintained. They had quite a selection of menu items including teas and boba. The food was delicious! The fried rice was prepared with perfect seasoning even with the pork belly added in. Rice was fluffy and blended well with all other ingredients! The pad that was amazing! I had a huge craving for mango stick rice for dessert and I looked up the nearest Thai restaurant in my area. I'm so glad that I can across Chef Million! It was such a pleasant surprise to walk into this corner shop of a large parking lot and enter a nicely decorated and open area. The restaurant is pretty, organized, and clean. I placed an order via the Yelp app and my food was ready in a timely manner. I ordered a veggie tom yum soup and 2 orders of mango sticky rice for dessert. The Tom yum soup was flavorful and came with baby bok choy, cabbage, mushroom, carrots, cilantro, tomatoes, and lemon grass. It was yummy and well made. I would've like a side of rice but I guess I didn't read that it doesn't come with any. As for the dessert, I was super satisfied!!!! The sticky rice was yummy, not too sweet, and served hot. Delicious food! This place is small, but was clean. They have plenty of options on their menu. We only got take out but nonetheless, great. Prices are on par with other Thai food restaurants. I went here on a recommendation from one of the students I work with and I was not disappointed. From the moment I arrived, staff was warm and friendly. They answered all my questions about spice level. I ended up getting the Drunken Noodles with tofu to go and the tofu had a great sear on it while the noodles were well seasoned in the spice department but clumped together a bit. They even gave me a small container of the sauce so in case I wanted to add additional spice to my meal I could. If you like about a little over medium spice, I'd recommend getting a 6/10 on their spice scale. I also ordered a Thai tea with boba and it was probably the largest one that I have gotten for the price offered. Everything was made fresh and delivered quickly. If you get in before 3pm, they have an affordable lunch special as well. Make sure to get a stamp card so you can take advantage of their promo and check in to get a free tea with a $15 purchase. But everything else was delicious. My level of spice was a 5 and 2. The spice level 5 was a little too much for my pallet but still tasty. For me, spice level 2-3 is the sweet spot for me. I got chicken drunken noodles (pad kee mao) and it was extremely bland to the point in which I had to douse my noodles in Sriracha for some flavor. This is a travesty to do. I shouldn't have to pour Sriracha I bought from Walmart after paying $15 for this dish at a supposed Thai restaurant. It was lacking the typical Thai spices/herbs you'd expect. I was undoubtedly disappointed. To add fuel to the fire, the cashier/front desk man was very rude and had this passive aggressive attitude. Worse, he is a liar. I asked him if I can get chili flakes with my order and he said he already put it in the bag. Lo and behold, I go home and find NOTHING in the bag. This is more like a three and a half. I couldn't give it a four. Chef Million Thai is a solid casual Thai spot. I feel like the prices are okay but it's just not my own personal favorite Thai food. I did take out of the yellow duck curry and a massaman curry. I felt like they were personally too sweet for my palette. I felt like the protein was a bit sparse for the price. The interior is cute with some good touches. It's a lot nicer than I expected. If you want some thai food In the area and don't want to drive far, it'll hit the spot, but it's a middle tier Thai food in my opinion. I was originally so bummed when the last Thai restaurant that was here was closed/turned into this one (not sure if it's just new ownership or what) but we finally gave in to try this new name. I'm glad we did because it's really good! Their pad Thai is pretty good and the pork is great with it. Crab rangoon is delicious! It's creamy but you can still taste the crab. I feel like most places it's just cream cheese. The honey walnut shrimp... Oh man, it's so good. These are jumbo shrimp here. Lol. They're crispy, tasty, and the sauce and walnuts make it amazing. Having been to a wide variety of Thai restaurants including Weera, Lotus of Siam, Archi's, Le Thai, and D E Thai, etc. I can compare in detail. Food: I had the veggie panang curry as well as the Pad See Ew on a separate occasion. Panang: ok flavor, fresh veggies, perfectly cooked rice. Problems: the sweetness over-powered the savory and tangy flavors. Also the consistency of the curry was runny and very oily, not creamy at all. For these reasons I would give the curry a 6/10. To make it better I would decrease the sugar and increase the coconut milk/creaminess. Pad See Ew: well done. Great noodles, flavor, and balance. 8/10. Nothing earth-shattering however. Thai Tea: one of the better Thai teas. Good milk/tea ratio and the tea is not overbrewed. 9/10. Service: 10/10. Friendly, fast, attentive. I have only good things to say about the service.
