The friend was generous enough and kind enough to insist on picking up the bill, so I can't really speak to the prices, but the food and the service was absolutely fantastic. We are new to the area and had family come over for dinner and found this restaurant for takeout because they had a variety of gluten free items. My mom ordered the penne vodka with grilled chicken and my cousin had a breaded eggplant parm hero, both gluten free. They loved their meals and the bread they received. We also ordered, non-gluten free pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, salads, and eggplant Parmesan meal. Everyone loved their meals (too much that we forgot to take pictures). The Sicilian isn't like your traditional Sicilian however, more like a rectangular version of their regular pizza, but hey it's still delicious haha. We stopped by for the first time tonight and were thrilled with our experience. Alex and his team are making some of the best thin crust pizza in the area. We came in with a group of six, and they happily accommodated us. They were friendly, welcoming, and the food was delicious. The crust was thin thin thin, and the cheese and sauce were the perfect mix of salty and sweet. I wish I had taken photos of the rest of our food, but we ate it too quickly (that's how good it is!) We had two plain small thin crust pies, a half pepperoni/half sausage, and a small thin crust with half "the works" and half veggie. We also got a salad and two Italian subs and an arugula salad. Everything we ate was fantastic! We also got to meet the owner Alex, who has put his heart and soul into this place. He is a stand-up guy who really cares about his customers. There are enough pizza places in the area that this one is unfortunately a skip. The barbecue pizza was a bland plain pie with a few pieces of bbq chicken on top. The white pie was a bit better but a little heavy on the garlic. They may find their niche eventually but I'm going to give them some time for now. The staff was very friendly. read more

I decided to try this out. I ordered the pepperoni pies and added jalapeño to the topping. The pie was delivered without the pepperoni and just half the pie had jalapeños. The other half was plain! Grateful that they can accommodate many of their items with gluten free and dairy free options. We ordered a gluten free chicken Parmesan entree with dairy free cheese which came with gluten free pasta and marinara. The gluten free broccoli pizza was much smaller in size and came with dairy free cheese. Lastly the gluten free pasta with white clam sauce came dairy free without butter, so tasted more like pasta with olive oil with fresh parsley. Everything was cooked using fresh ingredients, and they did the best they can to make dairy free cheese taste edible. There's an up charge to all the dishes so the total was $60. This was one of the worst pizza places in Bergen county. First off I ordered a large pizza and if you see the photo it doesn't even reach the end of the box. I had better and bigger pizza at Chucky Cheese. 2nd flavor very cheap tomato sauce from a can, you can tell they don't even heat it before they sauce the pizza. The dough very small, flat, dry with no rise or flavor. I would of said frozen but I saw the guy tossing it. The wings had a watered down Buffalo sauce on it. Just all round buying cheap product to serve to customers. You can make up your own mind but who ever is giving this place 4+ stars your out of your mind or just like frozen pizza from the grocery store. read more

Large pizza is 14in Bar Pie style they also sell "regular". Plain was delicious and I ate the whole thing on my own. We also ordered a small white also with thin crust. Nice flavor with a hint of garlic and just enough ricotta. They've only been open a short time so it ended up being almost an hour for pick up. I'm a huge fan of anything with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese...the chicken parm sandwich lacks neither of those two things. Now...on to the reason I gave this spot 3 stars instead of 4-5. I don't believe I will be coming back to this place mainly because of the attitude/grouchiness in which the female owner treated us. Snarky remarks, sarcastic/ condescending tone and just overall unpleasant personality. Big turn off. The first time I came here the experience was much better because we were created by a younger woman who was not there in this particular day. Sad to downgrade my review from 3 to 1 stars. I love mom and pop stores and am always happy to support but what is not forgivable is poor quality and on top of that - an aggressive attitude. I've been here several times before and the owner and his wife have always been very friendly and while the pizza has just been ok, I like coming here because it's in our community. However on my last visit, I was beyond disappointed with the quality of food. Here's what happened------ I called ahead to order a large pie with only 2 slices with pepperoni for my 3 year old. Owner said 10 minutes. Great. Perhaps I was mislead in my visits to other pizza shops where they make a pie to order... I walked in exactly 10 minutes later and saw the owner putting some pepperoni on a congealed pizza that looked like it had been frozen!!!! When I said is that mine he was surprised to see me there and then said something about yeah he has to put the pepperoni to warm it up. But the way he behaved I could tell he was upset with me for catching him doing something I would not expect. Recycling prior days pizza! And he just key giving me a dirty look the whole time I was there and when I gave him my money he was sneering at me. Until finally I asked if he didn't want my money then he could take the pizza back. He started to back track and say no no. That's not it. But when I called him out on why he was being unfriendly to me the entire time I was waiting there he didn't have anything to say. I find the entire experience bizarre. My husband was upset that I ended up paying for this pizza, he's the kind of person that would eat whatever. But he refused to eat this because he said it tasted like freezer burn. Honestly I don't like conflict and wouldn't have said anything but finally built my courage up to say something after repeated dirty looks while waiting another 5 minutes. Why why why does she keep going back??? My daughter ordered eggplant parm but ask them if they can make it with ricotta cheese but sadly they didn't make it the way she asked!! So this week she decided she would order eggplant Rollatini Parmesan figuring she would get everything she wanted in her meal!!! But that didn't happen either, shocker! she got regular eggplant Parmesan!!! If they didn't make it or didn't have it they just should've said so but my daughter refused to call and complain even though her dinner was over $20 because they either hang up on you or yell at you!!!! read more

I LOVE the pizza usually I don't enjoy the pizza in River Edge since they all taste the same to me but I truly enjoy this place. The owner specializes in thin pizza, which at first I doubted but ended up loving! and I also really enjoy the sauce that has a slightly sweet flavor and is delicious. My husband enjoys their wings specifically their buffalo wings and their ranch sauce is pretty good too. We also enjoy their empanadas but we wish that they had more options than just chicken and beef. Their staff is very kind and friendly, they make me welcome enough to dine in often.
