We used to frequent about once a week this week. The food was not so great. It just was off from what it normally is.

Because of the storm, there were only two employees running the entire restaurant. There was a wait to be seated, a delay in getting our food, and another wait when it was time to pay. But honestly, we didn't mind given the circumstances. The restaurant didn't have the heater running, so eating inside felt like we were dining outside in the snow. Despite that, the waiter was friendly and attentive, doing the best he could while juggling everything. I absolutely love Red Lobster's biscuits. They were warm, buttery, filled with cheddar, and completely addictive. I ordered the Lobster Lover's Duo, and everything was delicious. I was so full I didn't even have room for dessert.

It looks dirty to me and unattractive. Also, the waitress brought out a basket of biscuits, but as she was holding the basket up against her chest and the biscuits were rubbing against her shirt. Also, instead of putting a tea spoon in the unsweetened tea so she would know it was unsweetened, she put a straw. I think some retraining needs to be done and I don't care what you think but, appearance means everything. As Paul Harvey once said, dress for success and you will be successful. If people find you up beat, happy, clean, nice looking, you will make good tips. Appearance and attitude mean the difference in success and failure.

The food and atmosphere were both great, but honestly the highlight of the meal was our server, Brayden. He was just the absolute definition of a nice young man. Not the super-polished, script-perfect kind of server who makes you feel like you're watching someone who's done the same routine a thousand times, but someone who was genuinely warm, kind, and earnest. Every interaction felt sincere. When my iced tea got low, he'd quietly bring me a fresh one before I had to ask, and he looked almost apologetic that it had gotten low at all. He had this way of making it feel like he was personally hosting us and genuinely wanted us to be comfortable. There was a little bit of endearing newness, too. Instead of silently making things happen, he'd stop by to let us know our appetizer would be out before the steaks, just because he wanted to keep us informed. It wasn't inexperience so much as someone who really cared about doing a good job. He was incredibly sweet, attentive, and authentic, and that kind of service is memorable. 11/10 for Brayden--we'd happily ask to sit in his section again. The food was very enjoyable, we had: -the shrimp cocktail appetizer (excellent bite to the cocktail sauce) -salads (weirdly great, just a normal house salad but one of the better ones I've had) -ribeyes with sides (steaks were correctly medium rare, I would have loved having a smaller ribeye on the menu as well as the existing 14oz, I ordered mine with the horseradish crust which was tasty, though without the crust the underlying steak itsself was a touch under seasoned, the creamed spinach was great and the baked potato was flawless) -bread was fresh and pleasant, though the slight sweetness is not something I especially love, but that's just a style thing -chocolate mousse cake was both massive and absurdly, ridiculously good Total before tip was $125, well worth it, and I'm only sad they haven't expanded to Texas yet.

It was just ok. Prime rib lacked flavor. The creamed horse radish helped it, but it was kinda like…read moreboiled beef. Next time I will try the rib eye. Server was excellent, atmosphere was excellent And my wife's chicken was good. Clean restrooms with paper towels.

Cracker Barrel in Sevierville, especially Lexi and Justice, deserves a big shoutout!…read more Vibes: I love the decor at every Cracker Barrel. Their country-folk, rustic American theme is always so charming. Service: The service, particularly at this dinner, was outstanding! We visited on two consecutive mornings for breakfast and were greeted cheerfully by Lexi and Justice. They were warm, friendly, and prompt. Food: This Cracker Barrel is my favorite breakfast spot when traveling. I love their menu, portion sizes, and of course, the prices. On the first day, I had the "Good Morning Breakfast" with egg whites, sausage, fruit, crispy hash brown, and tomatoes. The eggs weren't greasy; they were simple, delicious, and nothing to complain about. On the second day, I decided to indulge and ordered the chocolate chip pancakes with their syrup. The pancakes came with a dollop of whipped butter. They were extremely fluffy with a beautiful golden crust, truly delicious. My husband ordered the Sausage & Egg Casserole, which he quietly relished. The portion was huge, but since I hate to waste food, I ate it all and considered it my lunch too. The mocha I ordered was also excellent; it was a perfect end to my meal. Cracker Barrel was a great start to my day, thanks to the wonderful staff and the tasty food.
