Well...my first AND LAST experience with Waffle House. Cook was in rough shape. They only had a few customers so there was no rush to fix our meal. Waffle was soggy. More like a pancake. Should be lightly crisp. Bacon was good. My sausage egg and biscuit was nasty. Biscuit was in pieces when it was delivered. Hash browns were barely warmed and were wet on the inside. Second time I've eaten here after a hike. Very clean and friendly. Nora waited on us today and she was a delight. Hot fresh food.

This was the first time Ive been to a Waffle House. It may be mean to say but the people who work there need an education. I told the girl ham and cheese sandwich, that was just grilled cheese with ham. That it was on the app, showed it to her and she still couldn't understand. There was no language barrier. She looked like she was thinking but couldn't find an answer. The food was soso. Comparable to Dennys where it wasnt great but its one of those easy places to go to. We went to this location today. Was greeted immediately as we walked in and greeted at the table immediately. She brought our coffee and took our order. A customer came in (apparently a regular) and he brought a puppy in with him. I watched our server take the dog from the man and cuddle with the puppy. We are dog lovers so we understand puppies are so cuddly HOWEVER not in the hands of people serving your food. So we watched our server go behind the counter and start preparing food (putting waffles on the plate) with her bare hands and she did not wash her hands. I kindly went up and asked her "I don't wanna sound mean or rude but will you please wash your hands before getting our food ready". She was very sweet and said "yes of course". After going back to the table my husband and I were simply grossed out by the thought of what else has she touched and not washed her hands. I went to the counter and told the lady "I'm sorry but we would like to cancel our order and just pay for the coffee (I hadnt touched my coffee and my husband drank 2 sips from his)". $5.00 later we left and went elsewhere for breakfast. read more

We ate breakfast here and the food was hot and tasty. The service, however, is extremely lacking. Friendly waitress, Erin, came quickly and got our drink order. I asked for water and coffee with cream and blue packets. She brought the cream and not the blue. I asked again and she brought me some. After we got our food, she brought our check almost immediately and never came back to ask us if we wanted more coffee. She as well as a couple of other servers were standing and talking about their trip to Walmart. Disappointing to say the least! read more

Blueberry waffles - upcharged, undercooked and no blueberries (Eggos have better blueberries) The photo in the window shows blueberries.... It was like drops of blueberry syrup baked in. Bacon was both burnt and not cooked. And they served it touching the table. Service was awful, we had to go ask them to wait on us and the restaurant only had about 4 groups - and one person at the counter. Staff spent lots of time chatting with each other. We went today for breakfast but ended up leaving without much. We arrived at 8:15am and we were able to get a booth immediately and order our usual (gravy biscuit & bacon). We received our drinks promptly and the bacon arrived pretty quickly....then we waited. At 8:30, still no biscuit/gravy. The "fill in" manager (Pat) stopped at our table and apologized and said she was going to make the gravy right then and it would be ready in 3 min. At 8;48, still nothing and Pat was on the grill cooking other customer orders. We felt very ignored an not appreciated. We were regular customers (every week) until the prices started to go up & up but still went there occasionally. Unfortunately, if this is the new level of service, we won't be back. I had to go to McDonalds to get food just to make it to work on time. Heather, the server, was great as always. I think management needs to get back to this location and do some work or it will close. read more
