We stopped in for dinner on our way back to Pennsylvania. The food was all wonderful! We got a mix of things, including steak, eggs, pancakes, biscuits, steak, fries, and fruit. We got seated pretty quickly as they were busy. The food was all hot and fresh. Our server was very nice and it had a great feel inside the restaurant comparable to other Cracker Barrel locations. I would say the only reason I gave four stars is it look like there was lots of employees who were either eating food or chewing gum walking around the restaurant. I know that is not something that should be happening and it was something I wanted to mention. We would definitely eat here again!

It's been quite a few years since I've been to a Cracker Barrel. But this location is one to revisit again and again. Came in around half passed five on a Thursday night and our party of three was seated immediately. Mariah was our waitress and she did a good job. She helped us with our orders and was very kind. Only thing I would ask is for someone to come around and refill our water. Otherwise, all was good. Chicken fried chicken with green beans and hash brown casserole was delicious.

Good service and fresh food. Good size portions and reasonable prices. Well known in many states and always busy but worth the wait.

From ensuring they source fresh, seasonal ingredients to creating a welcoming atmosphere, it's obvious that everything is done with passion and attention to detail. The night we came in for dinner, we had the joy of having Mariah as our server. We had the fried chicken skins, the à la carte ribeye and sirloin, mashed potatoes, broccolini, and summer squash, and then the cobbler for dessert. The drinks were strong pours, everything was seasoned perfectly, and the service was impeccable. Another night, we came in for drinks and dessert and had the goat cheese cheesecake and Pots de Crème. If you're looking for a restaurant that's the perfect combination of great food and great vibes, this is absolutely it.

First off, the restaurant is truly stunning! Service was excellent too. We started with the Fried Chicken Skins. My friend had heard good things for a friend, but we weren't particularly impressed. I had the Hanger Steak as my entree, and it was delicious. I especially loved the potato dumplings! My friend had the Kansas City Strip, cooked medium rare, with broccolini. Initially, the steak was overcooked, but the staff quickly cooked another steak and made it right. Overall a really good experience! Downtown Sevierville has really evolved, and we enjoyed walking around and exploring after dinner.

My absolute favorite is the strawberry jelly. It was SO good that I had to bring some home--and yes, they sell it by the jar! From the delicious Southern food to the family-style serving and that amazing strawberry jelly, Mama's Farmhouse was definitely one of our favorite meals of the trip. They serve 3 different main dishes daily. You get what they serve.....no additional options are available. Today (Tuesday) was Salisbury steak, fried fish and fried chicken. They chicken was good, Salisbury steak a little overcooked and dry and the fish was decent. Unfortunately, I came with a large party and I was the only one who are the fish. For the 4 side dishes, we ordered the chicken and dumplings, mac & cheese, hush puppies and mashed potatoes. The sides were actually better than the mains. The ambulance is very casual and it's a family friendly atmosphere. Restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our waiter, Kyle, was very patient and an excellent server. Overall, I wasn't too impressed with the main courses but the sides made up for them somewhat. I would say the food was 2 - 2.5 stars but the staff was 5 stars. So I'll have to go with a 3.5 star total review.

I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer only to have it delivered with batter so thick you could not find the tomato, and the batter had a fishy taste like the grease had also been used for frying fish. They were just not edible. When the waitress came to ask us how we enjoyed them, I told her there was too much batter and the grease tasted fishy. She didn't say a word, turned and walked away. You could tell her "How was it?" Inquiry was automatic and not a genuine concern for how the customers were enjoying the meal. It didn't get better. My grilled pork chops were tough, overcooked, and lacking any flavor. I could only eat one of the two provided. The pinto beans lacked any seasoning, but the coke slaw was good. My wife's pork chop was fried, and was better. It was cooked as it should have been. But her Mac and cheese was gummy and had an odd flavor. The cornbread was dry and not good. A friend who ate with us had Country Fried Steak. He said the steak was passable, but the gravy was disappointing. No onions at all in the gravy. This was not a good eating experience, and with the waitress's attitude, it was an almost a total flop. The sign at the entrance tells it all.
