I ordered the chili cheese dog which was GINORMOUS!!! It was honestly really tasty and the chili was great. Drinks were good as well. Service was fast and they always asked if we needed anything else. It was a little hot outside but they have fans running that help a lot. Over all a good place to eat. read more

The chicken wings were amazing! Unlike a lot of other places, they were perfectly cooked -- meaty, moist, and crispy on the outside. Also, highly recommend the tuna melt and their bloody Mary's. First let me say this place is absolutely disgusting. The tables are filthy, there is dried bird poop everywhere in the outside dining area. There was a woman with 5 dogs jumping and playing at the table next to us. I couldn't eat with pet dander in the air landing on my food. The employees did nothing to stop the woman with her dogs, they instead encouraged it. Ridiculous. The host was very rude and disrespectful. Do yourself a favor and don't eat here. read more

Came here after a long day of hiking in Sequoia, and I left full and satisfied. I split the bacon cheeseburger and chicken tenders with one other person. Both were pretty good, but I was ravenous so maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much LOL. The reason I'm only giving this 3 stars is because of the ambiance and a service mishap. This place is right next to the river, so you get to enjoy a nice view while eating. However, the restaurant feels very dirty. There are flies everywhere you go, even in the bathroom. The tables also seem to have a lot of gunk on them and need a deep clean. The other thing is that we ordered 2 appetizers and never received them. We brought it to the attention of our waiter and got them removed from the bill, but I would have loved to get them before our food since our group was starving. If I was back in Sequoia I'd consider coming back, but only if I wasn't super hungry and was willing to wait for a table. read more

We met friends for lunch and drinks. Evidently we overstayed our welcome after we didn't order another round of drinks. The waitress came over and told us the manager said it was starting to pick up, and they needed the table. As we walked out, we saw 15 or more empty tables and not one party waiting to be seated. I had a good experience here while visiting 3 rivers. There's not a lot of dining options in the area but as we left Sequoia National Park, we noticed that it was poppin off and decided to check it out. The busser was very nice and got us drinks immediately. He was almost like an assistant waiter as he was professional and attentive. Our server was also nice as another table of hers opened up closer to the river after we were already seated elsewhere and she let us move. I had a chili dog as the menu stated the chili was homemade. Honestly the chili was bland and needed salt but overall a good meal. Ginormous portions! You won't leave here feeling hungry. I also had a bourbon beverage which was just okay. Get the zucchini fries as those are something to rave about. I liked the ambiance as they do offer both indoor and outdoor seating. With the cool weather, the outside area was busy and we enjoyed sitting near the river. read more

After a few days out in wilderness, there is no doubt that stopping by river view grill & bar will be a must after camping. The food was excellent! My friends and I started with the chili cheese fries which are a must & you can't go wrong with the wild western burger especially when adding avocado! The staff was super friendly! Carlos the manager was very helpful as he recommended some of the best items on the menu. The outside patio has a pleasing view of the river! After speaking to a few locals, they all said that the new ownership has done wonders for this place. So don't be discouraged by the initial star rating. Came here for the first time the other day because we were visiting town and wow! It's such a unique spot in front of the river ! Staff was super attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Food was great! We ordered their mushroom burger, their "homewrecker" which was chili on top of a hotdog, and their chicken salad. Everything tasted pretty fresh and local. Had a taste of the hotdog which was just "okay" for me. The hotdog tasted more like Vienna sausage to me. The mushroom burger was yummy. Their fries & sweet potato fries were delicious. Ranch was also delicious. Their chicken salad was good too. The only thing that made me drop a star was because there were a bunch of wasps everywhere. The staff tried to divert them to the little plates of meat near each table so they would fly to the meat instead of our plates, but still a little nerve wrecking. Overall, the place was clean & a pretty chill place with billiards inside. Would love to come back again. Come check them out! read more

If you want to pay $20 for a 30 minute wait and a burger that is burnt to a crisp, hockey puck style, then this place is for you! Dolly and the rest of the wait staff were amazing! The burger was garbage. Alas, after waiting said 30 minutes, I was starving, so I ate the terrible burger. I can still taste the waxy char on the roof of my mouth. Had we known Friday-Sunday are live music nights we would not have came here. I enjoy live music but this was too much. The band we got "lucky" with was a rock/metal band, which seemed like a very strange vibe for a casual, family-vibe, mountain restaurant. Our family could not even have a conversation at the table the music was so loud and horrid. Service was extremely slow. Food was ok, typical American bar-type food. The best part about the place is the view of the river, but there are plenty of other places that offer the same thing. I wouldn't return. read more

Generic burger and sandwich menu, plenty of good choices though. The meats were decent, the burger was beef, the fish a bit greasy, the fried chicken was just chicken fingers. There wasn't any spices or extra flavor in the meats or fries to make them stick out. The other ingredients were great, fresh stuff all around. And i loved the sweet potato fries, yummy. I can be difficult to find good food in isolated places like Three Rivers, but our experience at River View was just atrocious. The margarita my girlfriend ordered was undrinkable. The buffalo wings were definitely frozen because they were rubbery and gross. We each got a burger basket and the patties were undercooked and tasteless. Riverview Grill and Bar (Three Rivers, CA) - June 19 2023 - We came here after spending the morning up at Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park. The most distinguishing thing about this restaurant is the large back patio that sits right next to the fast moving Kaweah River just on the other side of the 30" high see-through fence. The sound of the river this time of year was borderline deafening, but in a good way! They also have indoor seating with a full bar and pool table. That has a little bit of a honky tonk feel. We sat out on the patio next to the river. I do like the fact that they are dog friendly, and we were able to take our dog with us on the patio.We were promptly seated when we arrived, and given menus. Nikki was our server. She was friendly and prompt. I felt well taken care of. Since I knew I would be going to a brewery after lunch, I only had water to go with a very tasty caesar wedge salad with nice chunks of blue cheese and bacon bits. My wife ordered the patty melt sandwich on a sourdough bread together with a side salad. For my caesar salad, I liked that I could pick up the individual leafs of romaine that were nicely loaded with blue cheese, red onion (I had to scrape some off), and bacon bits. I would order it again. The meat on m wife's patty melt was ok. Not the most flavorful. It had a nice cheddar melt on top with lettuce and an ok tasting pickle slice. The bread could have been more toasted. It wasn't crisp enough. Room for improvement but overall worthy of 4 stars. I'd come back to try some of the other food options and enjoy a drink and the sound of the rushing river. They also have live entertainment some nights from what we were told. read more
