The food was prepared with attention and care, I ordered the quarter pound burger and fries very tasty, great bun. My other companion ordered the steak and eggs with hashbrowns and that was really tasty and my third part of the group ordered the Monte Cristo with sweet potato fries everything was really good well prepared and prompt service. We sat in the patio and enjoyed the view. It was fantastic. Had such a great experience in a great time. The server was amazing, sattentive, friendly, considerate, and checked up on us a few times. After seeing a permanent sign on the front wall, as we approached CC Ard Farkle's Grub and Grog which said, "Best Burger in Town". Hmmm, I better check that out. We had driven up to Three Rivers to try out the newly re-born Ard Farkle's. Sharing a building with the Pro Club for a nice new golf course, driving range, and a soon to come Pickleball court, the restaurant is clean and nicely apportioned concern. The Farkle Burger looks good on paper, a 1/3 lb. Burger with cheese, bacon, onions, lettuce and tomato. With a tasty chipotle aioli. So, we both opted for them. They came out quickly and looked better than they read on the menu. A dill pickle spear decorated the top bun. A choice of sides to choose from found me ordering the side salad - delicious, and my wife ordering sweet potato fries, which had (I thought, a bit high) an up charge of $3.00. She stated that they were better than others. The service was about average, nothing extreme in either direction and by the time we left, we felt we had made some friends. Came from late breakfast enjoyed country fried steak (homemade meaty gravy with sausage and bacon was delicious) little salty, and thankfully generous portion given it was $25. Come for the food, stay for the views! We came into Ard Farkle's on a Saturday afternoon. Most tables were filled, but there was no wait for lunch for two. They were serving both breakfast and lunch. Started with mozzarella sticks, which were great. ($8) The sauce that came with them didn't quite seem to be marinara, though. Maybe just crushed tomatoes? I got the Farkle Junior burger ($17) with a side salad. The salad was great! The "junior" was a perfect size. Still pretty big. It was a little too pink in the very center for my liking though, so I didn't finish. They didn't ask how I wanted it cooked, but I suppose I should've specified. The total came out to just under $50 for two farkle junior burgers, mozzarella sticks, and one fountain drink. After lunch, we got 2 Coors from the bar (happy hour is daily from 2-5. Well once we got seated (10 minute wait with only one other person in the restaurant) it took at least another 10 minutes or more to get anyone to come talk to us. We spent most of that time killing the flys at the window. The view of the mountains was good and even saw a couple of bears wondering around. I had the pleasure of stopping by the renovated golf course this last Thursday and everything was excellent. The course was green and the food was above and beyond. Bartender Lisa was super helpful and her attention was on point. I loved how she told us how fresh everything was and handmade. She also told us about the desserts, which I'll come back to try another day. She explained how the owner is of Russian heritage and she hand makes all of them. I was speaking to Lisa about making a specific drink and she mentioned not having the ingredient and owner was nearby and gave her the green light to order. Excellent customer service. This place is my to go place out of the whole Sequoia area. If you are a fan of great, cooked to perfection steak bites - this is a place for you. The most amazing steak bites I've ever tried. Juicy, hot - perfect. Soup was a little sour but the mushy texture was great. Ok soup. Chicken wings were very usual. Nothing extraordinary. Service is normal. Many people are still in the process of discovering this business and it's not too busy just yet. Wait till summer and this place will be packed with golfers, diners and people who appreciate the sceneries. If you prefer Mountain View's to river ones - this is the best place. Take a seat on the patio and enjoy the sun, view and a golf course that's going to open very soon. You can also celebrate your wedding with the restaurant and book the most epic venue in your entire life. Gorgeous views of Sequoia Mountains in the back with two beautiful people getting together. Amazing idea. As for the golf course it seems quite affordable and fun to play as there will be different courses you can choose from. To start, the view is absolutely stunning from the patio seating. The table next to ours kept cussing routinely, so I wish they had spaced us out (only 2 groups there at the time). The food tasted amazing! However, the portions were very small. The children's macaroni was the size of one cup...it came with nothing else and cost $9. Appetizer of steak bites was super delicious but barely served 1/2 people for $20. Again, the food was good but portions did not match price. The clientele and their foul mouths did not fit either. The kids burgers were excellent but $14 without a drink (did include fries). I highly recommend this place for a drink and during the week for the HH. The website said HH prices were daily but at the restaurant it was Monday-Thursday so plan ahead. read more

The big news is their golf course is now open. The course is pristine. Fairways, greens, and carts, all are in tip top shape. Staff are extremely helpful. Had to find a place to eat that was open later than 8pm after a day at the park. Ard Farkle's was a great find. Google was a little off with the directions coming from Sequoia. It's a little farther down the road than maps was telling us, but found it pretty quick. It's the restaurant at the old golf course so it looks a little strange at this point since the course isn't open yet, but don't be discouraged. Food and service was on point! We had dinner and ordered the poutine and the petite fillet mignon which were both delicious. Talked to one of the owners for a while and got the story of the golf course and restaurant. Had quality beer on draft, fantastic, well balanced appetizer (very fresh and quality balsamic) and incredible steaks seasoned to perfection (which came with a variety of fresh vegetables properly roasted) and either roasted potatoes or mashed potatoes. Even the dessert (brownie with ice cream) was amazing. Service was on point and the owners were both there and incredibly hospitable. Highly recommend! My family and I from southern California went up to Three Rivers this past weekend. We stopped in to Ard Farkles for brunch. Big mistake. We waited to be seated in nearly empty restaurant for over 10mins. Then when we finally were seated, we sat there for 40mins. No interaction, no one asked if we wanted water, no eye contact at all. While we sat there, a line of people formed in the lobby. Many people walked up to the waitress and asked if they could be seated, and they were ignored as well. After 45mins we got up and left. Several other patrons left without being seated or served. The customer service was horrible. I'm bummed because everyone said food was great, and I won't be returning to try it out. read more
