We have only stayed here 3 times in the last 9 years this time not quit as good as the past few in the past they had really nice wine tastings but now not so great also they charge a resort fee of almost $18.00 per day our cook top in the unit was not operating correctly they are on propane but electronic ignition was not working so you had to use a bic multipurpose lighter very dangerous also the next morning I smelled gas the propane coming from under our unit I advised the front desk they did send someone to change out the gas Line the BBQ was not working when I used it but they fixed that the next day too . The TV broke the coaxed cable they did replace it and the light outside the unit was not working nothing done about that . Wow however the maintenance guy who was great during the week evening was great trying to resolve our problems could not fix cooktop. He also brought us a bottle of wine what a nice guy but the manager not so sure I truly believe staying there could have put my life at risk because of the propane leak and the cooktop issue they need to check themselves and fix issues ASAP read more

Cool spot close to downtown. I can't wait to return!

This place was a cool variation from an ordinary hotel. We stayed here for Bottlerock Music Festival, which made the prices skyrocket to about $800 per night. But it worked out well because it is more of a tiny house than a hotel room. There is a furnished mini kitchen with everything you could need (with the exception of an oven). The patio is nice and our unit was up on the river and the walking trail so it was pretty quiet. They don't clean the rooms daily since the units are time shares; but they do bring clean linens. We also took a dip in the pool and hot tub, which was lovely. Overall I enjoyed this site and would highly recommend. I took off one star because of the high cost without daily housekeeping service. read more

I absolutely loved Riverpointe Napa Valley! The locationw as superb and the amenities were great. I went with my husband, mother and grandmother and didn't want to share a room with my mother and grandmother, so we got two cottages with an attached porch. It was fantastic, we could meet in the middle and talk and have dinner on the porce, which we did one night. There is a walking trail, grill area, pool, hot tub, game room and a bunch of other amenities. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is, there seems to be a transient population that walks behind the cottages on the walking trail, some of them look like drug addicts. So I would make sure to lock up your room and keep the door shut when outside to prevent any opportunistic thefts. Also, there was a police presence when we were there because someone fell into the river behind our cottage, probably a transient. Kinda wierd. But, overall, love this place. But, don't ask the front desk girls for recommendations on a taxi for the day, use Black Tie Taxi, they were great. read more

Wayyyyyyy overpriced!!! Sheets were worn out with little "pills" on them from the wear. Small room when we booked a "suite". We had to share a parking space with another unit. Reality is these are not "cottages", but actually trailers!! Almost $400 for a Saturday night in Napa... yes, I know Napa is pricey, but for a small room in a shared trailer that wiggled when you walked is not impressive. Then, upon going to the pool, I find out this is a timeshare property! What are they doing on hotels.com? Never again!! Oh, the one star was for the clean bathroom with lots of towels and the free sangria from 4-5 on this particular day. read more

This place is clean, very conveniently located and overall, you get what you pay for. No complaints. We stayed two people in one room with a queen sized bed. There is a small table, sink, small flat screen tv, and coffee maker in the room. There is very little room to walk around or to put your luggage down. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were crisp and clean. The bathroom is also small with a very noisy fan. The grounds were clean and the service was just fine. I would defiantly stay here again. Don't expect a 5 star resort, that's not what this place is. However, it is a convenient, clean and great situated location. We didn't try the breakfast because we didn't want to listen to people trying to sell us anything. WiFi wasn't very good. read more

We got a great deal from HotelTonight on a road trip to stay here for $89 on a Tuesday. The cottage (basically a small, charming mobile home in a lovely park) was so awesome that we decided that we wanted to stay another day. The staff was kind enough to give us the same rate for this second night, even though the price on HotelTonight has gone up and their regular rate was higher! All in all, this was way better than any hotel stay, and even at the regular rates it's comparable to the hotels in downtown Napa! Full kitchen, two TV's, living room - it's your own small apartment on the river. Great staff, awesome experience, located right on the edge of downtown- doesn't get much better! This "hotel" is super kitschy and adorable. Each guest room is a trailer, arranged on the grounds in a camp-ground manner. The grounds are adjacent to the Napa River, running along the north side with a walking path. The main lobby has a swimming pool, spa, and restaurant. The staff were very friendly. Our cabin was stocked with all of the kitchen equipment necessary (plates, utensils, tea-pot, pasta strainer, blender, etc.). When we arrived there was a towel arrangement in the likeness of a dog on our bed. There is a porch outside that for most of the units are shared between two units; however, each shared porch has two separate tables and chairs for guests of each cabin to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others. It is affordable for the area, and not at all pretentious. read more

How very disappointing it was to check in to Riverpointe as an owner of more than 16 years and find that there has been a clean sweep of the employees who I have known and become friends with over the years. What a huge mistake. This place was staffed by long-term and dedicated employees who knew their job and did it well. I depended on Riverpointe and it's employees for parts of my wedding back in 2015. The concierge and guest services manager was a phenomenal person with a huge personality and the California style that set Riverpoint apart from the pack. When I asked about her while checking in today I was merely told "she no longer works here". We have loved this place for a long, long time and we hope that we don't see many more negative changes. I recommend Riverpointe to friends traveling to the Napa Valley. With all the changes that have taken place, I have to say that I am reluctant to do so now. As an owner I will most definitely be contacting the board and registering my displeasure with these changes. I will also be speaking to Grand Pacific Resorts. read more

We stayed here for a girl's weekend and had a great experience! The 'cabins' are actually quite roomy on the inside and are great for a group that doesn't mind sharing spaces with each other. When we called the front for assistance with our stove, someone came by to help in less than 2 minutes. Hot tub could have been a little cleaner/better maintained, but it was nice. Fold out couch mattress was pretty uncomfortable - but aren't they always? Especially if you don't plan on spending a lot of time inside (and why would you come to Napa if you planned on that?), it was a nice spot. read more

Having read the reviews here on Yelp before staying at River Pointe, I knew the rooms/cabins were actually trailers. Have to say, they did a good job making them look cute. Different colors, and wood trim. Not at all what I expected based on some of the negative comments. The interior was very clean, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Everything we would need to have a bar-be-que and make our own breakfast in the morning. The bed was comfortable and it was nice having a separate living area. I agree that this is not the quintessential "Napa experience" in that it is a bit different and certainly not spa-like. However, it is a very short drive up the road to Silverado trail, and very close to wineries. The only criticism I have is that the shared spaces (patios with table/chairs) are far too close together. One would not be able to have any conversation without your next door neighbor hearing it. That part was not good. If you are heading to Napa with a group, or family, or perhaps with kids, I think this place is great. If you are looking for privacy, and a romantic environment, perhaps not so much. Overall, it's a cute place with excellent housekeeping, and a decent pool and hot tubs. read more

The location is ideal; just a couple of minutes from downtown Napa. There is so much to do in the area. Weather is perfect in Napa. All in all a great vacation. Very disappointed, Very!!! Drove 2 hours just to find out that the pool in by reservation only, why people?? Why didn't you tell me when I made reservation? It doesn't say anywhere that you have to have a reservation to go to the pool, and it is all booked, and you have to be put on a waiting list , and if you get it it's once a day for an hour and a half.... I understand you take pre cations because of COVID, but you have to let ppl know before they book, I booked 2 nights and ended up leaving after one night because it was 101 degrees and we couldn't use a pool, they were able to squeeze us in once and that was it, I waisted my time, money.. very unprofessional, the only plus was a guy who was working at the pool Marco, was very helpful and friendly , kept apologizing that he couldn't give us more time at the pool... spend $600 for an hour in a half pool time... sorry, never coming back!!!! read more

Cute cottages! However, bugs sometimes are annoying and you can expect to see them in your room. I found one small spider running away from the bed sheet and I didn't have time to take a picture... Also, the cottages are relatively old but Okay. When I asked the front desk about the lights, they told me it's normal that some lights are not working. The front desk said they will send me extra comforter and help to check lights, and I asked to schedule a time so I can be in the room. However, when I came back from dinner on time, someone already delivered the stuff into my room... which made me feel very uncomfortable!! One more thing I'd like to mention is their office hour. Be careful the front desk closes at 10 PM. read more

This hotel consists of trailer homes. They are not stable at all. The whole time I felt like I had vertigo. It's really not fun at all! Also trailers are super small and not much space. Be sure not to have more than 4 people. Another thing is that there are lots and lots of bugs flying around. Also a lot of spiders! Big spiders. Super big spiders inside!!! Very scary. I do not recommend this place to my family and friends. read more

My wife and I along with a friend stayed recently in cottage 1 on the weekend of the 24th of August. All seemed well until we left and started to develop bite marks all over our bodies. Come to find the room we were staying in was infested with bed bugs. Absolutely disgusting. My wife and I are covered in itchy painful welts almost 2 weeks later. I counted around 100 bites on myself. Management has been slow to respond to our complaint other than acknowledging that indeed the room was found to be infested and that the people right after us had complained as well and they apparently were working on pest removal. My wife called several times and nobody seems to care to rectify the matter with us. One would think that immediate and appropriate action on our behalf would be of the highest priority. Apparently not. I would recommend (pun intended) avoiding this place like the plague. A bed bug infestation is a red flag sign that cleanliness is low on the list of priorities for this establishment. read more

Great lil stay along side the Napa River, about a 3-5 mins drive to Downtown Napa and 10 mins to the nearest winery.. the cottages are very nice, with more than enough room for a family of 4. Check in and check out were simple, with amenities that were very useful even for our teenage kids to enjoy. Lots of close by stores if anything is needed, and tight off the main road towards town, or wine country. Very pleased with the stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

We loved staying here! They are sweet little 'toy-like' cottages with patio table and chairs. They did an excellent job re-fabbing trailers into cottages. Quiet and by the river...great for kayaking and canoeing! Would have given it a 5-star rating but unfortunately they were changing wi-fi providers and it was down during our stay. Really? A trailer park? The staff is great. The maintenance people responded right away when there was a problem. Trouble was, there were so many problems. The units are incredibly small and to get from the main unit to the second (larger) bedroom, you have to go outside and across a deck. The good news is that there is so much to enjoy in the valley that you don't have to spend any time here. I don't know what they did to earn a gold crown rating but I am having a hard time believing it was legal. read more

Horrible, HORRIBLE stay!! My stay here was awful from the moment I checked in. I was not aware that the "studio 1 bedroom" that I paid $281.35/night for was HALF OF A TRAILER with paper thin walls & absolutely no privacy. I immediately called the front desk & very kindly explained my confusion & requested a more private unit. I was informed that there was one private unit available for a $50 upgrade fee, however the stove didn't work. We agreed because at this point we did not care about the stove or extra charge. When we entered the new unit, it was FILTHY!!! We killed 3 spiders and found dead ants all over the bathroom linens. Honestly, I did not get much sleep that night for fear of bed bugs, spiders, etc. The toilet was also leaking. What an awful experience, especially for the price we paid. read more

Bought a living social voucher, and called this morning, the man on the phone was incredibly unprofessional and rude, and told us they were not taking vouchers for the weekends, even though it said weekends. HORRIBLE!.....The STAFF at the RiverPointe Napa Valley was More than just a little bit horrible, it was a Disaster. . ... it started when we called a few days in advance to ask some simple questions about where to bike, if there were any restaurants around and to our GREAT astonishment, etc. etc....especially since it was our first time to Napa...., the front desk person, Michael that answered the phone was extremely RUDE, Unfriendly, Unwelcoming...to say the least and we did not get much better treatment from Megan, the supervisor either. It was my wife that called and she almost did not want to go there to stay... but we were only days away from celebrating my birthday, so it would have been hard to change our plans. Anyway, when we came up there.... the same "Horrible Treatment" only continued. Unfortunately I can NOT recommend this place and would advice LivingSocial to do their Own check up in advance next time before they recommend a Get Away Place like this, Another thing we also did not like was that the Check IN as well as the Check OUT was respectively Very late (4pm) and 11am.... ridiculous when go to a place like this. Advice: Stay far away from RiverPointe, you would be better off sleeping in your car. read more

Terrible. We came as a family and paid them online. We were excited to stay here based on the other reviews. Then they give us a studio because of some room problems they had with the room we were supposed to get and didn't tell us at all when checking-in! They didn't tell us the situation until we complained that there is only one bed for a family of four. Then they say oh sorry... Really unprofessional for them to not tell customers what we were getting ourselves into. Two stars are given cause AFTER we complained about the situation they gave us a DIFFERENT hotel to stay and two bottles of wine ( hence the two stars). read more

The star rating is low because this is not a hotel. These are individual trailers or what they are calling cottages with in a park like setting. First of a cottage has a foundation not mobile and leaning to one side because the dirt under our trailer was out of level. It was clean over all but inside in the sleeping portion of this trailer was cramped. I just wish it was clearly communicated that this was not a hotel but indeed a trailer park we would have booked elsewhere. read more

I would recommend a stay here, but whatever you do, DO NOT BUY! They are a tacky operation, always trying to sell you something, while undercutting service. {no Water in the area between the workout room and the sauna. Gee, why would clients need water?} And if you somehow decide you must buy, do it on ebay. You can get a unit/or points for from $1 to $100, plus closing. In fact, you may find someone desperate enough to cover closing. When last there, they were talking about people just handing their ownership back. It becomes clear once you're there, that the people in the main office are just there to sell you something....a bit like a visit to a Mexican resort. I could give you a long list of things they do, but as long as you don't own, you won't care. The little trailers are cute, and worth a stay. That said, there is little advantage owning over just renting them. We own and each time we call they give some reason why we can't use the points and have to go ahead and pay anyway. Then, each time we check-in we have to have a seperate meeting with the lady to give us a parking pass. This in a place where each trailer has it's own parking space. The parking pass lady is code for time to sell you something. Whether she can get you an appt. to upgrade your ownership, or buy from some local vendor willing to give them a kick-back, just know the parking pass is a charade. It is behavior like this which has led us to own one timeshare, and regret even that. Try calling there--a phone tree w/full email boxes that keeps circling back to the beginning--a bit of purgatory here on earth. My advice: A nice little place to stay as a renter, but AVOID the office workers, and DON'T BUY--don't tie yourself to ownership! Vacations are supposed to relax you, not upset you! read more

What to say...First, if you want to know what it is like to live in a small cramped trailer this is the place for you. Riverpointe is located in a flood plain so their rooms are on wheels so they can get them out of harms way. For a mobile trailer, they look good, however, living in them for a week is a challenge. The wireless connection provided by ADSpot is tentative at best. Your connection is good for two hours, however, the signal can fade in and out at most inconvenient moments (like watching your favorite movie on Netfilix). The sofa couch was so uncomfortable to sit on we were forced to move to the bedroom and watch TV on a 17 inch screen with terrible sound. One night may be tolerable, but, since we used our Interval International time share for a week, it became very annoying. The bed is also so soft that if you have low back pain or prefer a firm or extra firm bed, you can count on low back pain in the morning. The front desk staff was also most unhelpful. I wish I had noted the names of several desk personnel who made no attempt to help us have close by trailers with old high school friends we had not seen in over twenty five years. I could have understood if the place was full, but, the trailer next to ours was empty the day they checked in and the next day as well. They only stayed for one night. Its little accommodations like this that can make or break your opinion of staff. All in all, we would never choose to stay here again. There are way too many wonderful hotels, B&B's, and inns to choose from to accept only mediocrity. read more

Must the be real Hill Billy. This place was awful. If you want to buy a timeshare don't buy the from the folks at River Point. I think they're just as clueless when selling timeshares or software stuff that they're trying to sell. If they think River Point nice place, They don't need to sell anything. The crap hole. There was a lot of mix reviews on this place. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. I couldn't get over the fact that my husband had booked us a place in Wine Country that was essentially a trailer park. BUT to my surprise it was a such a great retreat! I will never talk bad about a trailer park again. Upon entering in the resort, the trailers looked more like small little cottages with a great vibrant color scheme. The rooms were a bit small but that didn't bother me. It was clean and and had everything we needed: a bedroom, bathroom, small kitchen and a living room with a small dining table. The rooms was equiped with 2 flat screen TV's, Blu-Ray/DVD player, dishwasher and fridge. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. We shared a patio with a another trailer but that wasn't bad because our neighers were always out when we were there. I later scouted the other trailers and some had private patios which I hope we can request for later. The pool was decent and the location was great just a short drive (or 10-15 minute walk) to downtown Napa. The place was very family friendly. There was a good mix of couples and families with small children. My husband and I made this trip without our 3 young children but maybe (...maybe) we will consider bringing them on our next visit and stay here. They would have a blast at the resort and the Downtown summer festivals that seems to be happening practically every weekend w/a different theme. read more

We stayed at Riverpointe a few weekends ago and had a great expierence! Yes, the units are trailers, but really-- unless you are really looking for a 5-star resort, I mean, who cares?! They have everything you need in the units and let's face it-- you're in the heart of wine country... who is just gonna sit around in their room? When I booked, the gal who helped me over the phone was extremely helpful and sweet. When we checked it, we were greeted by a young lady (Yessina?) who was fun and informative and upon realizing it was my birthday trip even gave us a bottle of wine. Check out our last morning was easy-breezy even considering my post-wine bus tour haze... There were no hidden fees or expenses. We didn't have time to check out the workout facilites or pool, but there is a really nice little running trail that runs just behind the facility along the Napa River which was great for a light morning workout! I would definatley stay here again and recommend Riverpointe to anyone looking for a no fuss, comfy, way to stay in Napa. Thanks for helping us have a great trip! read more

Concept is good, and we were a few feet from the river trail. however, the toilet didn't flush and when maintenance fixed it, it was running water. I turned off the water at night to save water. My family stayed here for 3 nights. Convenient location. Beautiful scenery, friendly and accommodating staff, clean rooms. Fully stocked kitchen with cups, plates and silverware. Bed was comfortable sleeper sofa was not. Beautiful trail and scenery alongside the Napa river trail. Our only complaint was a shaky foundation of the room. Felt like an earthquake anytime someone walked through the trailer. Horrible sewage smell fills the entire trailer when you turn on the faucets or shower. Would have given four stars if not for the sewage smell. read more
