The Greenhouse Bloody Mary was lighter and fresher than a typical Bloody, made with an in-house clarified celery juice base that gave it a really bright flavor. We also tried the Rhubarb Sunrise with rhubarb purée and vodka, simple, refreshing, and super easy to drink. We started with the crab cocktail: chilled crab leg meat over ice with lemon and cocktail sauce. Really fresh and simple in the best way. The salad ended up being one of our favorite things we ordered. Fresh greens, snap peas, pistachios, feta, mint, dill, and a grilled lemon vinaigrette. Super refreshing and kind of addictive. The server did a great job with the timing of the food which is always appreciated, so you don't feel rushed. We split the pork belly benedict and it was excellent, rich smoky pork belly, perfectly poached eggs, and a really solid hollandaise. The potatoes were crispy and nicely seasoned too. The French toast was ridiculously good. Thick-cut with a crunchy caramelized outside and soft custardy center, topped with strawberry-rhubarb and fresh whipped cream. Sweet but not too heavy because the rhubarb balanced everything out. By the time 11:00 rolled around the restaurant started to fill up, if you want to come when they open at 10 you could probably get in without a reservation or sit at the bar. It's right in downtown Sumner so it's easy for people to pop right in, but there were others who were also working remotely for the day. Lots of seating, lots of plug ins, and free wifi. I love how bright and airy it is here, too. Definitely is the best spot for a sunny spring or summer day. On Tuesdays, they do $5 Taco Tuesday which is such a steal! For $5 you get two tacos with your protein of choice (carne asada or chicken). I decided to try this since I got the quesadilla last time. Some of the cuts of meat were pretty grisly/fatty which was a bit of a turn off, but overall they were good. I also got the chips, salsa, and guac on the side. I think next time I would skip the salsa as it was super chunky and not a salsa texture at all, and had no kick to it. The guac was really good though! I wouldn't say it's the best coffee shop I've ever been to, but the atmosphere here is so bright and cheery that I'll definitely still keep coming back when I'm looking for a change of scenery that isn't my desk at home!
