--- I recently took my 2024 Chevy Silverado to the Riverside dealership for an oil change and a door latch repair under warranty. Unfortunately, my experience with their service department left a lot to be desired. When I arrived, the service advisor, Maria Jimenez, informed me that the door issue would require body shop alignment and could only be done during the week. Since I work full time, I asked about transportation options. I was told they only offer transportation within a 10-mile radius -- which wouldn't help me get to work. I asked if they could arrange a rideshare to my job, but they said no. Maria said she would ask management, but the conversation quickly became dismissive. She told me, "We just fix them. We don't make them." I found the attitude unprofessional, especially for a brand new vehicle still under warranty. It's frustrating that a dealership wouldn't offer better support for working customers needing warranty repairs. I'll be reconsidering where I take my truck for service moving forward. --- read more

The service staff at Riverside Chevrolet is AMAZING! It all started with the def tank that needed to be replaced. We took it in, Dion Vaughn and Mike the tech, kept us in the loop, pricing for labor/parts was super reasonable, and the time to complete was superb! We were so satisfied that a couple of weeks later, we took it in for hub bearing and both upper arms on the truck, and after a quote decided to add hydro boost brake work. Again, excellent communication, price, and time work was completed! As we were getting ready for Glamis season, the truck caught fire in our driveway. Eeek. I made a frantic call to Dion and he and his techs including Mike, actually talked us through our anxiety and put us at ease when they told us to bring it in and they will figure it out what caused the fire. Over and beyond customer service! Turns out it was a throttle body over heating and frying a bunch of parts and causing the fire. Long story short, they fixed it somehow and we are good as new. I recently had a very frustrating experience with the service department here, and I feel it's important to share what happened. I brought my car in on a Tuesday because my AC was working, but it wasn't blowing very cold air. It was cooling, just not as well as it should have been. I assumed it might need routine maintenance--maybe a refrigerant top-off or something simple to get it working properly again. When I picked up the vehicle on Friday, I noticed the AC wasn't working at all anymore. The air wasn't cool, and the AC light was blinking. I contacted the shop right away and let them know I planned to return so they could check to make sure nothing had been left disconnected or improperly handled during their inspection. I brought the car back the following Thursday, and that's when things became even more frustrating. I explained the situation in detail to several service members. I tried hard to make them understand that the AC was functional when I brought it in and that something went wrong during or after their inspection. I was hoping someone would acknowledge this or offer a path toward a resolution -- but no one did. Despite my effort to calmly and clearly explain what had happened, no one offered any real help or compromise. I then requested to speak with the service manager, but they either ignored or dismissed that request altogether. Finally, one service member said she would try to get the service manager's attention. She walked away, and after some time, came back and told me that the manager did not have any time to speak with me. That was incredibly frustrating -- I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable, just a conversation to explain my situation and find a fair resolution. But even that was denied. I explained that I wasn't asking for a brand-new system -- I just wanted the AC restored to the condition it was in when I dropped the car off. They refused to work with me on a reasonable solution. No accountability, no options, just a hard refusal to do anything unless I paid for a full repair. Some staff implied I was trying to get a free repair, which was insulting. One employee even made a face that made me feel judged and unwelcome. The technician was respectful and explained his side of things after they brought him in to speak with me directly. He said the compressor was likely failing, based on the pressure readings and how the system responded during testing. But I don't know every detail of their internal process -- all I know is that the AC was working before I brought the car in, and it wasn't afterward. What bothered me most is that no one verified whether the AC system was blowing cold air before performing their test. That seems like a basic and essential step in properly diagnosing AC issues, yet it was completely overlooked. They later claimed that the compressor was faulty, but that doesn't add up -- the system was still cooling before the visit, and I was actively using it. In summary: The AC was cooling, just not very cold, when I brought the car in. After service, it stopped working completely. I explained the issue to multiple staff members and was repeatedly denied the opportunity to speak with the service manager. Even when one staff member offered to help, I was told the manager simply had no time for me. I was treated as if I was trying to take advantage of the situation, which couldn't be further from the truth. I was simply asking for them to fix what stopped working under their care -- nothing more. This entire experience left me feeling dismissed, disrespected, and extremely disappointed. I expected better communication, professionalism, and accountability from a service department. And now I'm left with having to go to another mechanic to fix the AC. It's frustrating having to pay out of pocket for something that stopped working while the car was at this dealership's service department. read more

Brought in my truck for oil change on August 13 2024 and where ever service people parked it inside the mechanic shop it got hit. My truck got fixed but my truck had ceramic coating all around it , so since it got a new paint job it needed a new ceramic coating we went with the guy we trust and they don't not want to take care of the bill which they said that they would! We been reaching out for almost a year about it and they have not got back to us. We call and they say they will call us back but never do and now that I went in person they are now saying they won't reimburse. If this situation ever happens to anyone please make sure to have a video proof and written down in a piece of paper of them stating they will pay for anything! SEVEN WEEKS AND STILL NO REPAIR!!! On 11/19/25 I took my 2017 suburban ( the second car we bought from this dealership. we're GM people) to the service department for some electrical and transmission issues. We paid $2700.00 for an extended 8 year warranty the day we bought the car in may of 2018. our suburban to date has only 76,000 miles on this motor/ tranny. CRAIG one of the service managers assisted us first day. Granted, we brought our car in on the last day our warranty was still eligible but a contract is a contract. It was put in the system. warranty tried to deny covering the bad tranny once the mechanics deemed it no good. Craig was asked by us to provide us with a copy of the contract and to re call the warranty company to negotiate them fixing the car. 2 weeks went by and STILL NO CALL FROM CRAIG!! Not to the warranty department nor to us to let us know where we stood. I went into the service department at week 2 and Craig was not in. I was helped by a very Pleasant young lady named MARIA who was willing to call warranty that moment and spoke to the manager and the warranty company agreed to fix it. it's been 7 weeks and we still have no car, no loaner and I continue to have no way to get to work. I've been asking for rides from friends and family members FOR 7 WEEKS!!!! Craig begged our forgiveness on WEEK 2 and said he would handle our situation. CRAIG IS A LIAR! CRAIG HAS DONE NOTHING AND SHOWN US NOTHING! Its a warranty issue. Craig had a sideways attitude toward me since day one when he called me "young lady" and I corrected him by telling him im not. We are being told that we have to pay $4500 out of pocket, warranty wants to put in a refurbished transmission but Chevrolet won't touch it since it's not their parts and won't warranty it. CRAIG IS UNBELIEVABLY NEGLECTFUL! We have had to make every attempt to contact him and hold his hand while asking him to do his job. 7 Damn weeks while my transportation just sits and collects dirt and my battery dies. Why and how can this possibly take so long?!? What an unprofessional experience a 2 time car buyer of this place has had. MAJOR MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT.
