Absolutely the WORST experience ever buying a vehicle and I buy a new car nearly every 2 years. I worked with this dealership for 2 weeks to negotiate a deal on a suburban. We finally come to numbers we both agree on. I went to my bank and got a loan approval on my own and brought a bank printed check and my contract from the bank to purchase the vehicle. The men doing my deal who represented themselves as the sales manager and finance manager, tell me that I needed to fill out a credit application so that they could run my credit and that it would be a hard inquire which negatively affects a credit score. After much discussion of trying to understand why they would need to run my credit when I already had an approved loan thru my bank and had a check in hand. There was no reason for them to need to run my credit. They said it was their policy that all customers must complete a credit app regardless of how they buy the vehicle. They proceeded to tell me that if the bank check would bounce then by having my signed credit app would still be able to get paid. Then they actually asked me "How do we know that your bank check isn't a fraudulent check?" Beyond how appalling it was to be told this when I am about to purchase a $70,000 vehicle from these people, I explained that they had my driver's license, insurance verification, vehicle registration, my loan documents and I even carry a check book for my business which has my name and address on it. Everything I had would verify who I am. They also said that if my check from the bank was a fraud, that having a signed credit app from me would make it so that they can open a loan in my name (even without my signature on loan docs) and get their money. So again, if everything I'm presenting matches my ID and who I say I am then the info on the credit app, which also matches my identity wouldn't do them any good if I was a fraud. I have NEVER been treated this way by anyone ever. When I asked them who is requiring for this from me, they said it was company policy. I asked if this company policy was in writing, both the Sales Mgr and Finance Mgr said that it was NOT in writing. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Talk about fraud!!! It made me wonder what their true intentions were having me sign that credit app. If they think they can open a loan in my name without my signature, which they said that they would, what keeps them from doing so even after getting paid by my bank? Then I can't help but wonder if there's an even darker side to this. This was the most shady deal I've ever experienced with a car dealership and at 55 years old, I literally buy a car nearly every two years. That's a lot of dealership experiences. I will be reporting this to Chevy and to the Better Business Bureau and anywhere that my review will save another buyer from this experience. --- I recently took my 2024 Chevy Silverado to the Riverside dealership for an oil change and a door latch repair under warranty. Unfortunately, my experience with their service department left a lot to be desired. When I arrived, the service advisor, Maria Jimenez, informed me that the door issue would require body shop alignment and could only be done during the week. Since I work full time, I asked about transportation options. I was told they only offer transportation within a 10-mile radius -- which wouldn't help me get to work. I asked if they could arrange a rideshare to my job, but they said no. Maria said she would ask management, but the conversation quickly became dismissive. She told me, "We just fix them. We don't make them." I found the attitude unprofessional, especially for a brand new vehicle still under warranty. The service staff at Riverside Chevrolet is AMAZING! It all started with the def tank that needed to be replaced. We took it in, Dion Vaughn and Mike the tech, kept us in the loop, pricing for labor/parts was super reasonable, and the time to complete was superb! We were so satisfied that a couple of weeks later, we took it in for hub bearing and both upper arms on the truck, and after a quote decided to add hydro boost brake work. Again, excellent communication, price, and time work was completed! As we were getting ready for Glamis season, the truck caught fire in our driveway. Eeek. I made a frantic call to Dion and he and his techs including Mike, actually talked us through our anxiety and put us at ease when they told us to bring it in and they will figure it out what caused the fire. Over and beyond customer service! Turns out it was a throttle body over heating and frying a bunch of parts and causing the fire. Long story short, they fixed it somehow and we are good as new. I recently had a very frustrating experience with the service department here, and I feel it's important to share what happened. I brought my car in on a Tuesday because my AC was working, but it wasn't blowing very cold air. It was cooling, just not as well as it should have been. I assumed it might need routine maintenance--maybe a refrigerant top-off or something simple to get it working properly again. When I picked up the vehicle on Friday, I noticed the AC wasn't working at all anymore. The air wasn't cool, and the AC light was blinking. I contacted the shop right away and let them know I planned to return so they could check to make sure nothing had been left disconnected or improperly handled during their inspection. I brought the car back the following Thursday, and that's when things became even more frustrating. I explained the situation in detail to several service members. I tried hard to make them understand that the AC was functional when I brought it in and that something went wrong during or after their inspection. I was hoping someone would acknowledge this or offer a path toward a resolution -- but no one did. Despite my effort to calmly and clearly explain what had happened, no one offered any real help or compromise. I then requested to speak with the service manager, but they either ignored or dismissed that request altogether. Finally, one service member said she would try to get the service manager's attention. She walked away, and after some time, came back and told me that the manager did not have any time to speak with me. That was incredibly frustrating -- I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable, just a conversation to explain my situation and find a fair resolution. But even that was denied. I explained that I wasn't asking for a brand-new system -- I just wanted the AC restored to the condition it was in when I dropped the car off. They refused to work with me on a reasonable solution. No accountability, no options, just a hard refusal to do anything unless I paid for a full repair. Some staff implied I was trying to get a free repair, which was insulting. One employee even made a face that made me feel judged and unwelcome. The technician was respectful and explained his side of things after they brought him in to speak with me directly. He said the compressor was likely failing, based on the pressure readings and how the system responded during testing. But I don't know every detail of their internal process -- all I know is that the AC was working before I brought the car in, and it wasn't afterward. What bothered me most is that no one verified whether the AC system was blowing cold air before performing their test. That seems like a basic and essential step in properly diagnosing AC issues, yet it was completely overlooked. They later claimed that the compressor was faulty, but that doesn't add up -- the system was still cooling before the visit, and I was actively using it. In summary: The AC was cooling, just not very cold, when I brought the car in. After service, it stopped working completely. I explained the issue to multiple staff members and was repeatedly denied the opportunity to speak with the service manager. Even when one staff member offered to help, I was told the manager simply had no time for me. I was treated as if I was trying to take advantage of the situation, which couldn't be further from the truth. I was simply asking for them to fix what stopped working under their care -- nothing more. This entire experience left me feeling dismissed, disrespected, and extremely disappointed. I expected better communication, professionalism, and accountability from a service department. And now I'm left with having to go to another mechanic to fix the AC. It's frustrating having to pay out of pocket for something that stopped working while the car was at this dealership's service department. read more

Brought in my truck for oil change on August 13 2024 and where ever service people parked it inside the mechanic shop it got hit. My truck got fixed but my truck had ceramic coating all around it , so since it got a new paint job it needed a new ceramic coating we went with the guy we trust and they don't not want to take care of the bill which they said that they would! We been reaching out for almost a year about it and they have not got back to us. We call and they say they will call us back but never do and now that I went in person they are now saying they won't reimburse. If this situation ever happens to anyone please make sure to have a video proof and written down in a piece of paper of them stating they will pay for anything!
