I took my 2011 Fatboy in for a broken fuel line October 4th 2022, I also had a service done I got it back December 17th 2022 with a empty gas tank and parked it in my garage where at least two quarts of oil leaked out on my garage floor, when I called I was told it was just Residual oil.....they picked it up and when I got it back it was leaking gas from the top of the gas tank and had minor scratches in the paint around the instrument bezel.... its January 14th 2023 I will never take my Harley to Riverside Harley Davidson I have been treated like crap paid over $1052.00 and the service individual I dealt with was very Is condescending talking down to me like I knew nothing about motorcycles....I will look for another Harley Davidson dealership even if I have to drive further.... read more

I called twice to try to get information on purchasing and extended warranty for my bike, I spent over 20 minutes on hold and the day before I spent probably 15 minutes without anybody answering so I guess they don't want my business or at least to sell an extended warranty. The one stars for the girl that answered the phone who was absolutely professional so I appreciate her but she transferred me to the business center who she said would be able to sell that, I understand it may not be the only customer but they could at least answer and get back to me later. What should of been done in a day or two, turned into a month!!! Yes, an entire month!!!! Did anyone call us to let us know what was going on? Absolutely not! Had to call there multiple times. "The part should be in any day now", is what we heard. Since it was there, decided to have the oil change. Person who rang it up added too many 0's to the total. That was a nice little surprise. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A MOTORCYCLE NOR HAVING YOUR MOTORCYCLE SERVICED FROM RIVERSIDE HARLEY DAVIDSON. Good morning, My name is Da Ackamin Gonzales I bought my 2020 river rock grey Road Glide Special from Riverside Harley in August of 2020. This vehicle is my main mode of transportation to and from work putting more than 500 miles a week. In February 2022 I was involved in a car accident that destroyed my left saddlebag. I had both saddlebags replaced with the standard length. The replacements eventually came in June 2022. However the right saddle bag was ordered under the wrong color(red). I then had to wait till September 2022 to receive the repainted right hand saddlebag. The paint job was sloppy and the previous color(red) was showing through. I was told Riverside Harley would get it repainted when I was available to drop it off. In November 2022 I was involved in another car accident that damaged my right hand side saddle bag. Once again I was informed the wrong color was ordered. So again the saddle bag was sent off for repaint. On May 5 2022 I dropped off my bike at Riverside Harley to finally have the saddlebag replaced. Only to pick it up and find out they replaced the left hand side saddle bag not the right hand side that was damaged during the wreck. These multiple experiences listed here, not to mention numerous others, I've had with Riverside Harley Davidson is beyond ridiculous and outrageous. No one should be forced to wait this staggering amount of time to 1: have parts come in 2: have parts repainted due to wrong parts being ordered and 3: have the correct parts ordered to begin with. read more

I read the guys review today about how he had a bad experience trying to buy a bike from Riverside Harley. I had a terrible experience that I will share to whoever want to buy a bike from those guys. I tried to buy a new Streetglide from Riverside, but there sales force was terrible, they had me waiting in the lobby for the longest time just to hear from someone about accepting my offer. I got so fed up with the long wait for a response that I got on the phone with Los Angels Harley of Fullerton and asked if they had the same bike with the same color and they did. I told the guy on the phone my price that I was willing to pay and a few minutes later he said come down to Fullerton, so I immediately left Riverside and went Fullerton. About 30 minutes later when I got to Fullerton Harley, I was greeted with a handshake. I was shown the bike and the paper work was waiting in the office to sign. While I was filling out the sales forms in Fullerton for my new bike, the guy from riverside called me and said he could now make the deal but for $500.00 more than my best offer and he wanted to know where I was. I told him that I got tired of waiting around his lobby and I that I was in Fullerton buying a bike for $500.00 less than the he could give it to me for. What was so amazing is that it took that guy about 1 hour to figure out that I had already left his store. Needless to say I will never buy a bike from Harley of Riverside. read more

And what's even worse is none of their used bikes have price tags or even any info tags. How are you supposed to compare and figure out what you can afford? It's like working on computers, you need to know how to explain to customers of different levels. Sometimes you need to be very technical and other times you have to explain as though you're speaking to a 5 year old child... that's what separates the professionals from unprofessionals. I love my 2017 Street Glide Special, bought it new from another dealer and I have not been happy with that dealer since (unfriendly staff, unpleasant and just not a good vibe). Today, I finally made my way into Riverside Harley-Davidson and I'm damn happy I did. Every single employee welcomed me, said hello and asked if I needed help with anything. One particular employee, Dusty Pedersen, was AWESOME. For 45 minutes or better, Dusty walked me throughout the dealership, showed me around and really sold me on Riverside Harley-Davidson. Even though Dusty knew I was not there to purchase a new Harley, he went above and beyond just being a salesman, he gained a new customer. I am never going back to that "other dealership" and they are 15 miles closer to my home. My new service center, sales center and apparel center is now Riverside Harley-Davidson. I purchased a new motorcycle last year from this dealer. That went just fine. Their parts dept however is horrible! First I had some lights ordered. Well when I finally got them 7 months later (that wasn't their fault). Being busy at this point it took a couple of months before I had the time to install them. Well, they ordered me the WRONG ones! Called them to fix the problem and they told me too bad. I also ordered new handlebars. Same problem. They ordered the wrong ones I asked for! Similar, but not what I wanted! My only fault was I didn't have the time to install everything when I finally got my parts. But since it was over 30 days they told me too damn bad!! Don't go to this dealer for parts! Go to Quaid or Laidlaws! Even Deathvalley Harley in Victorville!! but not this one!! VERY poor customer service in fixing a problem they did!!!! I've reached out to them in other forms and haven't gotten a response. Once they get your money, their smile ends there. They wanted to know how much I owed before they would give me a their quote and want me to pay them and undercut me. Dropped my bike of on the morning of June 25th around 11:00am. Told them what I needed looked at and done. I was asked how soon I wanted it back, I said as long as I get it back by the weekend. I called the next day about 2:00 to ask a status and was told it had just gotten to a technician. I asked for a call back for an update and received none. I called back again at 6:30 knowing they closed at 7:00pm. I was again told the same thing, with no further information offered or even attempted to obtain. So 17 hours at the service center without so much as an update to say we're running behind. In fact no call at all. Very poor customer service for the premium prices they charge for service. I don't think me or any of my friends will be going back. read more

I live in NorCal but I just couldn't get any of the NorCal dealers I contacted engaged in negotiations. I found the exact bike I wanted at Riverside and ended up flying down to Ontario. Tim from sales picked me up and took me back to the dealership. He was professional and courteous the whole time and kept me informed every step of the way. Before I start my review, I challenge you to just scroll to see the reviews and you'll see both sides of the spectrum with just a quick glance, coincidence? This dealer is nothing, but a SCAM! Want another challenge, make a few quick visits to nearby dealers and even further out of the area and just tell them, "I come from Riverside Harley" and note their reactions. This dealer gives other honest dealerships a bad name (and that's saying a lot). When your reputation precedes you like that it's a sure sign to stay away. First and foremost, their salesmen and sales managers are NEVER on the same page. They'll have you get excited over a reasonable price then sales manager steps in and now it's a game of good cop and bad cop re-negotiating a deal. Take this review for what it's worth but a true honest business doesn't have reviews fixed at either 1 star or 5 stars - classic BS. In my experience I made a call-in regard to a bike they posted online and surely enough it just "sold" okay I'm sure realistically that can happen. Then you make an appointment and walk in only to hear about, "We're the #1 dealer, this and that, most sales, blah blah blah" They're nothing but fast talkers looking to hook you in. When you sit down with finance there's a tremendous feeling of pressure (If you've experience this just walk away not a good sign) then, you realize the numbers don't add up, you walk in buying what you thought was a $12k bike give or take a few thousand for taxes, titles fees etc..., and now you're looking at nearly $30k after it's all done and paid for? One more thing, their VIP service package is nothing that lives up the name, you'll bring in your bike for service only to get the run around with times, quality, and service. You call back and of course no one answers. This is not the service of VIP nor any level of service for that matter. Bad experience, Bad Service (talking about sales managers here) and Bad reputation. Save yourself a trip, money and buyer's remorse, drive a few miles to another dealer where you'll feel that much more comfortable about a big purchase. read more

I participated in the motorcycle riding academy this week. I have never been on a motorcycle. I want to give a big thanks to my instructors Ian, Luis and Brian. Riverside Harley is lucky to have these three on their team. They are great instructors. I've been wanting to take this course for years but I previously lived in Los Angeles and could not schedule a mid-week appointment due to my job. I'm 44 years old and could pass the written and riding test. Once again I've never been on a motorcycle. The training is friendly for all. There were seven students and two of which were women. I recommend anyone to try the course as long as you can ride a bicycle. During my time there I was never pushed to make a purchase. I'm so glad I did it. Nice dealer, very clean, great people in all departments (motorcycle sales, parts and service). I've had tires changed with an appointment on several occasions. Took it in on the day of the appointment (early morning) and was out before 11:00 AM. Bike was cleaned and price seemed competitive. However I wouldn't buy a new or used bike from them. I refuse to pay over MSRP and not just a few dollars over. There are two HD dealers, and maybe more, I know that will sell all bikes at MSRP or below depending on the model. Maybe I'm "old school" but Harley Davidson motorcycles are expensive and then to pay several thousand, and in most cases much more, where does that money go? Talking to a salesman there, he says, they don't see any of the added mark up. Harley Davidson is wondering why their sales are way down, greed. I will continue supporting Riverside Harley but won't consider buying a motorcycle from them until their policies change. I had no intention on buying anything as this was my first Harley store I went into and my friend and I were extremely hungover lol (thank you Andrea for all the waters!) Went in to look at a used bike, tried calling several times to find specifics out, staff was friendly but didn't really wish to speak about it on the phone and insisted I come in for an appointment. Went the next day, was greeted at the door and shown new bikes. From the moment I arrived they attempted to upsell me a new motorcycle when I was insistent on a used model. After running my credit, the salesman gave me an absurd payment amount. The bike I was looking at was only 13k and they wanted 4k down with over $500 a month payments for a 60 month term, despite my great credit. They then attempted to sell me a brand new bike again under the guise that a new $27000 bike would only cost me $100 more a month. After I questioned the salesman for a breakdown of the payment, he quickly became agitated and argumentative. I let him know that I would not be doing business with them due to the predatory and dishonest tactics that were being employed, which resulted in a further argument. Horrible experience and will be looking elsewhere for a bike read more
