I come here for basic services like oil and transmission fluid changes. They only do what the car asks for on the car's service menu which saves me money over other dealerships that follow a set service plan; like oil changes every 5000 miles and transmission every 30000. They also have a really clean waiting room with complementary snacks and drinks. Only thing is they charge an arm and a leg for special services. Today I needed a new key made and they wanted $100 just for the programming. Honda cars of corona only wants $40 for the programming. I like this dealership for basic services but nothing extra. It's also where I bought my civic hybrid in '07 and I feel I had a no hassle purchase and I got the price I was quoted on the Internet. read more

I was their on 12/05/2011 @ 4:30 Pm for the service department to get and oil change for my 2007 Honda Accord V6, i Arrive at the service department park in their service drive i got out and waited out side my car for 10 minutes for a service ad-visor for them to help me finally a service porter approach me and ask me if i was help i told him no he when in side and then he came out and told me that some one will help me. Well i waited for a other 5 minutes some one came out. I seed to my self finally is cold out here. A service Ad-visor came out and he ask me are you been help and i seed no. I consider her to an honest person used as bait by Sam and other managers to lure in customers with false promises. I had heard the rumors about staying away from Riverside Honda but I took a chance and wasted a Saturday morning. I had two family members drive up from San Diego with the intent of buying 3 new Honda's. We quickly found out that we were misled about their stock, their prices and incoming new vehicles. I went to this dealership because my son has bought 5 cars from them in the past. So my credit isnt great but they sent me home in a Civic. A week later they call me and tell me that they have a better deal for me. The deal included raising my apr to 14.99 %. not a good deal in my opinion. So we went back and forth trying to get to a point were we are both satisfied, Alan the finance director really tried but to no avail. The overweight rude Indian in finance treated us like we were stupid when I wouldn't sign their new "better" deal. So I gave them back their civic and bought a hyundai elantra limited with navigation and bumper to bumper 10 year 100,000 warranty from cardinale in corona for a cheaper payment then the civic. The salespeople here were nice and they have a huge lot with a lot of selection but the rest of the experience met the stereotype of what car dealerships are about. All of the cars were loaded with dealer-added options and they claim they can't take any of them off even if you don't want them. The sales manager said that a few thousand dollars over MSRP is a standard price for cars these days and that's what the price is going to be no matter where you go. He then went on to talk about how many cars they sell and how many plaques they have on the wall. We ended up savings thousands by going elsewhere. They said we wouldn't find a better deal anywhere else and that we'd be back (and might have to pay more since we didn't take the deal that day). I guess we beat the odds. read more

I have owned this car for 12 months and driven 15000 miles, both highway and city, in good weather. I have never reset trip A since I purchased car, the computer gas mileage for the 15000 miles on trip A is only 38.2mpg, also have never gotten over 38 mpg when monitoring at each fill up, in fact mpg is as low as 35 mpg. We have the economy button on and drive very conservatively, still only 38 mpg. Far from the 50 mpg city and 47 mpg overall. Obviously they are not being honest with their customers and they know it, I'm sure I'm only one of many that have complained to them. Had I known this, I would have just purchased a non hybrid Honda Accord, which would probably not be far off on mpg I'm actually getting with the hybrid. read more

Ive been bringing my car to get serviced here for a while now. Always felt like they were doing a great job until I decided to really pay attention this last visit on Oct 2. Advisor Luis Serrano helped me advised me of oil change and tire rotation and change a sensor. I said great lets do it. They "do" the work, again im assuming they are doing a great job and do what they tell the customer they are going to do. Luis goes on to tell me the rotation is done all tires are at 33psi. Big mistake to tell me because i checked my tires 3 tires were at 35 psi and one was below that. They never rotated my tires, the reason i noticed was because i had a tire replaced and it was a different brand and it was not rotated. Im a little disappointed in the level of service that was provided and paying more for services not done. Now i feel like they didnt even Rotate my tires last time they told me they did. read more

I was really happy and excited that i got the car i loved it was a 2 door honda accord 13' a month later they call me to give the car back because they couldnt find me a bank to finance. Wow! I think they got butt hurt because i told them i was going to refinance with another bank, trish one of the ladies from finance is unproffesional called my bank stupid for wanting the trade in paid off before they can refinance me! CROOKS! Like every dealer, they will run you in circles till you don't know what you're signing. Buying experience: Internet quote wont be good b/c they won't have that car. they added THREE THOUSAND in dealer added upgrades (paint clearcoat, lowjack, and some random crap) that they COULD NOT REMOVE. they start with the FOURSQUARE sheet of paper --- RUN if they break this out. they'll ask what you want to pay and they will work a deal in THEIR Favor that hits this number. NEVER tell them what you can pay. they offered me a lower model car that they would swap out the cloth seats for leather. SWORE to me that was the only difference on the lower model. they failed to mention the power seats, the 2x better soundsystem, the roof rails, dual air control, heated seats, and stylyzed components in the car. REALLY??? then they got mad that we bought elsewhere. couldn't understand why after "ALL THE WORK" they had put into it. Told Ciara and the internet folks we were interested in a 2015 CR-V and would be paying cash. Provided a price quote for all three models very quickly. Got a quote off their website for my trade-in. So far everything was a 10 out of 10. Showed up at the dealership and spent some time with several salesman. Another 10 out of 10 so far. Then we sit down with the closer and finance guy inside the dealership around 7:00pm. The 4-square bait and switch began. Finance guy and their closers suck. Worst customer service dealing with a former customer. Refused to sell a 2015 CR-V EX-L for cash. The closer said they would loose $1,500 on the finance spiff if I did not finance my loan though Honda financing. Told me to finance the car then just pay the loan off so the dealership gets the spiff credit for financing or I could pay the extra $1,500 of what they loose by me paying cash. Their closer told me with great credit I probably would get 4.9% financing through Honda. I already had pre-approval from my credit union at their best rate of 1.74%. I already knew the best Honda financing rate would be 2.95% because I did my homework. Their quote for my trade-in was $1,500-$1,900 (using their website app from Kelley Blue Book for dealer trade-in allowance) and when we sit down with the closer they offered me $300 and told me to sell my car on the street. Gave them at least 3 opportunities to correct their rude customer service before my wife and I walked out of their dealership. Even worse, we are past customers and were treated like crap. They acted like they could care less whether or not they sold us the 2015 CR-V or kept us as customers. Inside the dealership rates a 1 out of 10. I told their managers when we walked out we were going to Moss Bros. Honda in Moreno Valley to buy the 2015 CR-V. Went to Moss Bros. Honda, the next day, got a fair and honest price quote for either paying cash, using my credit union or Honda financing. They had no special issues with me paying cash for my vehicle. Moss Bros. Honda honored the price quote regardless of how I paid for the car. No bait and switch. Bought the car from Moss. Bros. Honda and had a great experience. I will tell you the service department at Riverside Honda is very good and gets a 10 out of 10. They have always treated us great and provide good customer service. Maybe the service guys and gals need to teach the finance closers the art of customer service. I went in for a simple oil change recently. Unfortunately, upon completing my service many services were determined necessary. One of them was a belt package to replace my serpentine belts which were "old" and "cracking" according to the salesman. Two months prior to this I had my serpentine belts replaced at another dealership. I declined the service and went back to the old dealership. As a precaution, we inspected the belts together, which were as good as new. There was not a single hairline crack to be seen as Riverside Honda had stated. I think many mechanics are honest, but unfortunately I have had several problems with this company. If you don't want your wallet drained on unnecessary services, look elsewhere! read more

Went in to this dealer today for a Costco Program price, wow that was even hard to get and then when the salesperson came back it was the wrong car price as he couldn't find his eyeglasses, oh and by the way this was one of the so-called best sales guy, wow !! O.K. so after 2 hours we finally got a price, of course there were then the dreaded add on which brought the price up another 2K, oh and then when I wanted maybe to trade in my 2007 Odyssey EXL, it got really ugly and that was even after I told them "not" to insult me, the KBB trade in on my Ody is 17,700 and your not gonna believe the insult offer, 11,900, Wow, Wow and more Wow. even at a KBB low in fair condition it would be 15,900 so let see we want to make how much on that "New Car" deal. Irwin Stein in service is a top notch guy and very helpful and well informed , he's helped me for years. Yul Blake sold me the car and even gave me his personal cell number to call him with any problems. They replaced my battery and radio in the first month free. They could have financed me through honda for 179 per month for but they chose to finance me through bank of the west in order to make a larger profit. My payments are 350 a month for a 5 year lease and when my lease is over i will still owe 8,000 dollars. When i finally pay off my Civic I will have paid over 28,000 for my car. Three years ago a friend recommended that I give Riverside Honda a try. Well I did and had a fantastic experience. The salesman was awesome and the sales manager worked his butt off to get us a great deal. I was very happy. Here I am 3 years later and figured that they treated me right before, I should get the same sort of treatment. NOT! Again, the sales guys were great but this time just felt absolutely screwed by the sales manager. I used www.edmund.com to get five internet quotes for a Honda Accord. Riverside Honda gave me the best price. Before I went, I double checked with the internet sale person that I would be paying cash. She told me that it was the same price for cash or finance. I met with the internet sale person that quoted me the price for couple minutes and she handed me to another sale person. She told us my price is on the system. After spending two hours to look for the car and fuel the car, we took a test drive. Before we sit down to do the paper work, I asked the sale person if this was the price and he said yes. Because I would pay with a personal check, I needed to fill out an credit application. He then asked me for a copy of the quote they sent me because he needed it for his manager After he talked to his manager, , he said because I would not finance through them, it would be $1000 more. He also told me that my quote includes college-grad and military rebates. And since I am not qualified, that would be another $1000 more. I got up and left. There is no point to talk to them. The sales person who helped me was really great and very knowlegable about Honda Cars, he did not push me to get what he thinks was right for me, but he gave me so many options and let me decide what was fit for my need and budget. Came to this dealership yesterday morning to purchase 2016 HR-V EX-L in white and was met absolutely politely with Michael, sales person and other guys. After negotiating the out-the-door price, we had a test drive and then he started completing the paperwork. But after that something happened. He disappeared for a while and then his manager, Omar, suddenly came and in a rude straight manner stated that he can not sell the car for the agreed price. He said that out-the-door price we agreed upon does not include taxes and fees. Surprised is not the right word. Immediately after that he told me the leather interior was treated with some protective coating with 5 years warranty, although the seats were still covered with manufacturer's plastic! What a liar. There was no match at all between window sticker price and the numbers Omar depicted in his clumsy style on that piece of paper. No match in general between the MSRP they love so much and the money they crave in reality. We spent 2 hours there, me, my wife and our child. It was a complete waste of time as the field sales guys giving you shiny smiles do not make any decisions. They are powerless, useless. Their manager on the other hand is ill-bred liar pouring self-excluding tons of lies about non-existing interior/exterior protection, then about additional taxes and fees, again and again until the skies fall down. In a nut shell this is how we were treated: *My husband researched price for a new Honda Odyssey 2016, Found one from Truecar.com, *contacts the dealership @ Wed or Th, Mr. Nana emails my husband the special low E-price *husband calls to confirm low E-price and makes appointment for Sunday so we stop looking for a car anywhere else. *we make it to the place but only after tons of schedule changes in order to "take advantage of this offer which we are told is about to end", its late and two crying....sleeping kids later we get there *I talk to Mr. Nana (sorry honey, I had to make sure myself I dont waste my time....Im so tired) and confirm price/offer with him. He assures me the dealership's high inventory supports the offer, etc etc etc. E-price is what we will get so he says. *We agree to Mr. Nana to bring the van over so we can see it, all based on the offer. *Van is brought, we like it. Husband goes into the office I stay with sleeping kids in the car = so much hassle and sacrifice for this fraud *At the office, they insist in my husband driving the car to test it. He assures them he wants the van. Paperwork, insurance, financing, etc etc. 30 min in the office. *Mr Nana dissapears, floor managers enters into action and tells my husband that: they are not honoring the E-price, that the MSRP is higher, and that E-price does not exist?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? *Husband explains floor manager of misrepresentation and fraud and tells him he will see him in court. *Manager answers sarcastically...."No you wont" (I guess he knows his rights, techniques, and scams very well) *We go home having wasted our time, gas, feeling taken advantage of, lied to, defrauded. Salesman Asher was very nice and went out of his way to show us the cars we were interested in. The dealership is very unorganized and they can't find the cars or the keys. The Finance Manager Juan was the worse. They had given us the wrong price and would not honor their mistake. When they found out we were financing through another company, Juan said they would charge us over a thousand dollars more because we weren't financing through them. I will never go back. read more
