We went here for a work dinner party / talk. I added some pictures of other people's food in our party. Everything was delicious. The pork chops were flavorful- no sauce needed. The mule was to die for and we can't wait to go back and get more. We obviously decided to treat ourselves with some of their many desserts and we loved everyone. That brownie and crème brûlée were the icing on the cake to our night. The panko crusted trout had the best flavor and also the crunch from the panko was nice. Really nice spot tucked away in Canton. Found it by recommendation from one of my customers in the area. Their menu is really appealing, a lot of different dishes I would try! First Time Guest at this lovely Restaurant! Emma L was our Server and she could not have been more welcoming. She really added to our whole experience! The food we had was so fresh, plated beautifully and tasted delicious. There were many wonderful options on the menu which made the selections difficult. I would highly suggest the Southern Salmon if you are new to this place. The Restaurant is self is large but partitioned off into different areas giving it a cozy feeling. We made a reservation to celebrate a birthday and came ready to make it special with gift bags, balloons, and flowers on the table. Everything started off fine, but things took a turn when we were abruptly told our time was up and asked to leave -- right after we had finished our meal, paid, and tipped. No one mentioned any time limit when we made the reservation or when we were seated, and at this moment, there is no information about a time limit on their website. Being rushed out in the middle of a birthday celebration felt extremely rude and unnecessary. If we'd known about the time restriction, we would've chosen somewhere else. The food itself was decent, but the poor communication and lack of hospitality completely ruined the experience. Really disappointing way to treat guests celebrating a special occasion. Over the last few years, I have eaten at Riverstone Corner Bistro several times and I have enjoyed it each time. My husband, on the other hand, has had some terrible experiences there, but we were celebrating his adult daughter's b'day, and this is where she wanted to go. I ordered a French Dip sandwich and creamed spinach as my side. There is really no other way to rate the food except directly. I ate maybe 1/4 of my meal. The sandwich was soaking in the broth that had spilled during the time the sandwich was served, so it could not be picked up. I commented to my husband that the French Dip served at Arby's is far superior to what was on my plate at a quarter of the price. The horseradish sauce should have been much milder than it was. The creamed spinach was practically inedible. It had what appeared to be an oil slick on top, causing an unappetizing looking dish, with a taste that matched. But the worst of everything was the taste of the roast beef in the sandwich. For the first few bites, I thought it tasted fatty, but there was very little fat on the sandwich. I finally realized what I was tasting. The meat was OLD (way past when it probably should have been discarded). I managed to get half of it down, but that was all I could take. I am afraid this restaurant is not one we will patronize again. Ugh. Save yourselves... read more

Solo dinner at the bar. This was a very pleasant experience, and made me realize I might be selling Canton short. This place is a hit and elevates the geography. The Good: The food, service, and ambiance were excellent. I ordered the spinach salad with filet tips, and would order it again in a heartbeat. The $7 house margaritas were solid. The Challenges: The staff socializing on the floor was to the point of distraction. It made me feel like i was invading their territory. I did sit near the serving station. The ambience is great, the decor is beautiful, and the chairs are the most comfortable restaurant seating I've ever said. The shrimp and grits were a unique blend of shrimp, good cheese, grits, and tomatoes and onions. The lunch size portion looked a little small, but that was deceptive as I'm bringing half of it home. If you are ever looking for a great bar or dinning in with a date or family. I highly recommend RCB. You might have to wait a little to catch a table but it's well worth it. Passed through Canton on our way home and we're looking for a 'date night' restaurant. This place was highly rated with great reviews. And we can see why! The selection and quality of food was excellent. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Our server, Jalen, was great! Management even helped to serve our table and went to great lengths to ensure we were pleased with our visit. Such a great upscale yet casual atmosphere with an outdoor rooftop patio for good measure. It may be an hour from our home but it's well worth the drive. Just what we were looking for. What a well built great looking restaurant with a pretty cool atmosphere. This is the place to meet up with friends to drink and eat. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed their food with some wings, Alfredo and a fried chicken steak. Biggest problem with this menu is what you have to choose to eat. Came here for dinner with a party of 7. We made reservations and were seated right away. The restaurant was pretty busy for a Monday evening. They sat my group in a semi-private area towards the back of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the room wasn't sound proofed and there were other parties in the room including a much larger party. It was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. After tolerating it for at least a half hour (ordered and ate apps), our group decided to speak up and ask the staff if we could move to another table. Even though it was not their fault, the team apologized and said they would try to move us to another area. Fortunately, another group outside of the semi-private room had just left so they gave us their spot. On to the good stuff. The food is fresh and delicious. We started with the fried green tomatoes, rosemary bread, and cocktails. For my entree, I ordered the trout then ended the evening on a sweet note with a chocolate strawberry bread pudding and a brownie sundae to share. I'm blown away. It's incomprehensible just how consistently incredible this place is. I was lucky enough to have Lauren as my waitress again. She was even better than last time, and remembered me. Peyton is still killer. He also remembered me, and made sure to come talk to me. Tonight was a very personable experience. The staff genuinely cares about you here. The food was amazing as always. I brought many friends, and they could not believe how good it was. They had nice heaters to accommodate for freezing temperatures outside. I met a new friend today! Todd came over, and was very kind. He asked how everything was, and shook my hand. Heck of a shake on that fella! Sydney wasn't here tonight, but she still deserves a shoutout. Been here on several occasions. Have a local business in the area and take my team here occasionally as a typically reliable good meal. Not impressed tonight though guys. Service was extremely slow. Ordered the surf and turf - a filet with scallops and a Caesar salad. It was obvious that the salad was prepared at least a day, probably more, in advance. Lettuce wilted, aging, stale, and the croutons chewy, overall the salad was generally underwhelming and not fresh. Had two bites and set it aside. Ordered the steak medium - a warm pink to red center. It showed up well done, no pink to be found. Also, no Steak knife, just the standard bread knife. The irony here is that the scallops were undercooked. Well done e steak, rare scallops. Anyhow, not impressed with RCB tonight. Will be a while before I take my team out here again. I don't make many reviews, so when I do something either went really right or really wrong. A preface this by saying we've been to Riverstone corner bistro many times and have had great experiences there. Tonight my in-laws wanted to take me out to celebrate my birthday. We were a party of 4+ our infant daughter and arrived around 5:30 PM without a reservation. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait so we proceeded to wait. 45 minutes later, we were finally seated in the patio area of the restaurant which was extremely tight. We were continuously asked to scoot in by hostesses and weight staff. At one point, a hostess asked us to scoot in, and I said I can't scoot in anymore my stomach is already touching the table. The space is so tight. I ordered the grilled chicken dish and so did my father-in-law. The chicken was tough and hard to cut. He didn't finish his. The meal was disappointing. Since it was my birthday, the waitress offered a birthday dessert and gave a list of options. I selected the peach cobbler and we waited about 15 minutes before she came back and said that there wasn't enough peach cobbler to serve me a portion and asked if I wanted something different. I was so fed up from being in the small cramped room and with the subpar dinner that I said, forget the dessert and we paid the bill and left. I'm not sure if management ever reads these reviews, but I thought this was one worth leaving. Riverstone corner bistro has outgrown its location and it's affecting the experience of the people who enjoy coming there. read more

3.5 - It was ok! I think for prices it's fine. Staff was very nice, we had a great waiter! The ambiance was low key and laid back with a slight touch of up scale. It's important for them that you have a a good experience with out braking the bank. However I will say I ordered the crab cakes and they were meh not a lot of flavor. Not sure if I consider it worth 32$ comes with a small arugula salad and your choice of side. My partner ordered the southern salmon he said it was good. We were just a little disappointed with the components of the charcuterie board. Way too many grapes, not enough cheese or meats. Very pretty though. I have been to RCB twice now and have enjoy the atmosphere, the food, and the service which is always courteous and with a smile. The fried pickle wedges are delicious, the burgers are cooked to order and generous, and we always end our meal with a brownie sundae. They have weekly specials, and the chefs on the line are there to make sure that your food is exactly the way you want it. My first time visiting was with a friend for a girls night. She was running behind so I went ahead and ordered the fruit and cheese tray and a drink. Both were delicious. Everyone was so great from the moment I walked in. Several different people stopped by to check on me and make sure someone had greeted me since I'd been sat down which was great. They're so attentive and want to make sure nobody gets overlooked or I just looked lost. Either way it speaks volumes that they wanted to make sure I'd been greeted. Other places I've been would leave you sitting for 20-30min and nobody would have asked! The drinks we tried were all delicious. I had a lemon drop, a blackberry mule, and one of their specials. For dinner I had the sirloin with seasonal veggies and loaded mashed potatoes. It was amazing. My sirloin was cooked just right and had a good seasoning to it (big plus that it wasn't too salty!). The seasonal veggies were delicious and peppery (loved the Brussels especially) and the potatoes were perfect! I will definitely be coming back in the near future. We loved our first 2 visits. But they've completely lost their way in the kitchen. Charcuterie board was mostly grapes, greens, and peppers. Good amount of cheese but very little meat. Disappointing. Scallop risotto was very good. Hangar steak was cooked properly but low meat quality. Pork chop was flavorful but overcooked. Sides...sweet potato mash, green beans and Brussels were cold. Sides thrown on plate like a diner. Not well plated. Apple dessert was great. Service was very friendly and efficient. AC kept coming on set at "meat locker" temperature. Update 01/31/22. Riverstone Corner Bistro just raised the bar! They took a winning recipe for a fantastic restaurant and moved it 1/2 block down the street to a brand new upscale trendy location. I'm thinking at least 4 times more capacity as the old one, with a gorgeous roof top seating area And before you ask, I already had Yelp update the address so you're good to go there. Lol. They're doing everything right at RCB. Even at 4 times larger than the old restaurant you will have a hard time getting seated during peak hours. No worries. Just enjoy a well blended cocktail from one of their expert mixologists. They didn't mess with the menu to much as it's perfect the way it is. read more

Wonderful everything. Our waitress was a sweetheart. Had wonderful recommendations and was on top of service. We enjoyed sitting by the kitchen. My husband and I was impressed with the ease of getting orders done and to tables. Plus we got to spy on all the delicious food coming out. I can't improve on anything we ate. We got to met Uncle Tom. Who was great. We told him we would be back Sunday for a second dinner. They aren't open on Sundays since family comes first. He offered us a free dessert to share. Said we was family now the dessert ended up on our bill. We had no problem paying for it though. We was gunna order it anyways. I ate here a few months ago and I had the best burger I have ever had the piggy jam it was so sweet and delicious it melted in your mouth. The pimento cheese was delicious on top. I raved about how delicious the burger was so I brought my boyfriend to try one. We anxiously awaited our burger and fries. It was not a good burger tasted like grilled beef and onions no sweetness at all. And only had one bite of cheese on the corner of the bread. I was so disappointed in the second burger I ordered here. Fries were also cold. Not sure if I will try a third burger here. Horrible!! Went for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The salad and dessert were so small! The salad was served on a teacup saucer and the cake wasn't even 2 x2 inch square, more of one cake bite. The meatloaf was a raw, undercooked hamburger and all of this took over 2 hours to serve us in a freezing restaurant. Everyone had to wear their coats it was so cold!!! The bride had to ask the staff to put our desserts in to go boxes because they took so long to serve us and the wedding was early the next day. Horrible horrible!! read more

We came on a Friday night around 7:30 and sat up on the rooftop. We sat at a table and were greeted quickly. Riley did an all around amazing job. She grabbed us waters and gave us a heads up that the kitchen was overwhelmed from a large event in the bottom of the restaurant. Our drinks came out quickly and were AMAZING. We put in an order for fried pickle spears, and about 5 minutes later (I imagine a shift lead) let us know that they had run through their 5 gallon bucked of pickles. Totally no one's fault and I appreciated the fact that they immediately asked us what else we'd like. (They still brought us the last 2 pickles). Our main courses were delicious and portioned perfectly. The band, Wild Magnolias, wasn't too loud, which is unheard of and sang great songs. Well dang. One bad night at RCB. It was a busy Friday night. Had a reservation and ended up seated about 30 after the reserved time. It was slammed. It never feels good sitting down when a place is chaotic. Food. Wings. Good. Large. Lemon pepper good. Mustard just ok. They were hot. Chopped wedge salad. Wet. No blue cheese. 3/5. French onion soup. Very good. Spinach salad. Ok. Very wet. Chicken tenders added to the spinach salad were the best food we ordered. Fried fish sandwich. Just was not our thing. We'd prefer quality over quantity. Fish was good. Batter was too much. Alfredo with shrimp. Shrimp ok. Alfredo not good. Under seasoned and an odd consistency. Gummy is a good word. Server and manager asked about the food and we were honest. They responded appropriately. Still disappointed because you want food to be good when you go to a restaurant. We've been to RCB several times before and the food was very good. This time was not the case. Maybe an off night. read more
