So friendly and welcoming, like they had been looking forward to us arriving. We were brought to our table in the one of the side rooms furthest from the kitchen, main room. There were a few other tables in the same room, but it didn't feel crowded. Great menu, not a large selection, however, there is definitely something for everyone. I selected the chicken and dumplings. It wasn't like the traditional chicken and dumplings. The dumplings were petite and so delicious! The sour dough bread made fresh daily....get it if you can. You may want to call ahead and preorder for your dinner. They run out fast. Our server was very engaging, patiently explained the dishes and offerings. Checked on us, kept our drinks full, she made us smile and laugh. She was fun! Overall - delicious food and drink. A cozy setting for a lovely dinner. Also - private lot with plenty of parking! The coleslaw on the sandwich make it tough to eat and a bit messy, but still good. Michele got the fish and chips. Their fryers are gluten free safe. So she was happy about that.
