We tried a couple of dishes for the first time. I had the Shrimp Tacos which were well presented and delicious. The sauce gave the tacos the perfect taste without overwhelming the taste of the shrimp and avocado. The soft tacos held the contents together very well and made the meal be the easy and pleasant to eat. My guest ordered the Birria Quesadilla. It looked good and he was very happy with the meal. One issue was he noticed the dish of mole sauce included was very tiny so he asked for another dish. Without letting us know we were charged $2.00 for this tiny dish of sauce. Additionally we are normally offered refills on chips and salsa. Not this time (nor last time). O asked the server but he never brought it. We had a lovely dinner here with friends that we almost missed due to the incorrect address on the website! The Cadillac margarita pitcher was delicious and perfect to share with 4. I've been here twice now and this place hasn't disappointed. The big outdoor patio has lots of heaters and is protected from the wind so it doesn't get cold. They also have plenty of TVs to watch the sports games so whenever the dodgers are playing, they have a decent crowd. They have a small parking lot but there's only 3-4 reserved restaurant parking spots so you'll probably need to park on the street. They bring you free chips and salsa. I ordered a skinny margarita and the shrimp tacos. I always am scared getting a skinny marg because it is either super strong or not good but this one was the best I've had in a while. The shrimp tacos were yummy! My friend wasn't a big fan of them because they were too wet and didn't have enough crunch. The prices are good too. It's hard to find a place where you can order a margarita for $12 now a days. The servers were super welcoming and attentive. All around top tier service here! Tori was our server and bartender and was nothing short of fantastic. Tori is professional, knowledgeable, and most of all kind and a joy to talk with. I would say this restaurant is a hidden gem. The portions are huge and great for the price. I got the Baja fish tacos, which were delicious. I wish they came out quicker because they were a little cold, but that's OK. I understand they can be quite busy. We also ordered the shrimp enchilada and the burrito. The chips are addicting. There's always a good amount of people inside and outside. Our waiter was friendly and had good recommendations. Dogs are allowed in the outdoor seating area. Past that it took forever to get water and even longer for my drink order food took a while and having an allergy to pork I asked for shredded chicken to be subbed I was told there may be a "slight up charge" (even though we were replacing chorizo and bacon but I said fine) When we did get it they had some pieces of grilled chicken instead but I didn't want to send back as it took a while (The shredded chicken would have been better with the dishes we ordered ) The food itself didn't taste as good as in the past It lacked flavor seemed to be less quality For a restaurant not even half full service took a while and I was never asked if I wanted another drink etc Then I pad the bill and that "slight up charge" was for "2 chicken breasts" At 19 dollars! (If there was a whole breast between the 2 dishes I'd be surprised but still! Even if there was !) let me remind you was replacing a breakfast meat not "adding" I expected 5 each at most. They had T.Vs at the bar area playing baseball which is great for my husband. The staff were very friendly and we got waited on right away. The chips and salsa were ok. The chips were on the boarder stale in my opinion and I like salsa that is a little sweet with a little heat, a good balance but this wasn't it. No spice at all and it was really chunky salsa. I got a ground beef taco with white meat chicken enchilada. The taco was good but just fell apart in one bite but the ground beef was good. I didn't like the enchilada sauce it was more like a salsa and not a sauce (to me). The inside of the enchilada tasted wet. Strange. My husband had the carne asada plate and he loved it however, their "guacamole " that came with it was the same at "scoop" I've ever seen on a plate.
