I'm giving this place a one star review for multiple reasons. First, they give horrible customer service, as seen and experienced on multiple occasions, Second, their selection is lack luster and very small in variety, Third, their prices are inflated in comparison to other shops in South Orange County (which is saying a lot), and Fourth the singles I have purchased from them in the past, have not been kept in great condition, which is shame on me for expecting a card store to keep their cards in good condition or without first disclosing surface issues when present. I first started going to Rizo's because of proximity. Even though they weren't a good LCS (local card shop), they were close. Once, my wife went to buy a gift for me, and the gentleman behind the counter decided to help a customer who had arrived after her. This was upsetting, but I gave them the benefit of the situation. We never know what people are going through on a specific day, so it didn't derail me making occasional trips and buying cards from them. There was even a sale lady who was actually nice and with my permission gave my kids stickers. So I figured my wife's situation was just a one off mishap. On my recent visit to their store, my wife reluctantly accompanied me. We were celebrating a family milestone, and she wanted to be there with us. We had a three-year-old and a one-year-old with us, who were well-behaved in the store since we had been there multiple times before. On this visit, we came into the store and found that another family with a couple kids were already looking at the cases and hunting for their collections. Because I was familiar with this store, I said a pleasent hello to the guy working the counter (and watching the soccer game on TV), and proceeded to look for some cards. During this visit my 3 year old was looking at the cards through the glass, as EVERYONE was doing, and the sales clerk wearing meta glasses decides to single out my son and tell him to not touch the glass... this was very jolting, as EVERYONE in that moment was touching the glass... why was this male adult, talking to and isolating the actions of my 3 year old son? My 3 year old son was not yelling, he was not hitting the glass, he was not even 3 feet away from my wife (who was leaning on the glass looking at an expensive card set and wanting to purchase). This situation caused my wife and I both to be concerned. This Rizo employee was not only talking to my son and singling out a 3 year old boy for doing something that everyone in the store was doing, but he continued to affirm his actions as though my son was doing something wrong... the same thing EVERYONE was doing. It's a card store, the majority of cards are behind glass, at any establishment where goods are behind glass, that glass is going to be touched. And if it was such precious glass, why was the family who was there before us not instructed in the same manner?! I tried to address the male Rizo representative, who chose to confront my 3 year old son, and I could see that his attitude and mindset was confrontational and arrogant. My wife had already left the store with my 2 kids, and I was literally about to walk out of the store myself, until this meta glasses, entitled and confrontational Rizo employee said I needed to control my 3 year old... what?!? Do I also NEED to control your other customers doing the EXACT same thing, or control my wife who WANTED to spend a lot of money to celebrate?!? This enraged me and when I asked to speak to the manager, the manager came out and could not have cared less about the situation. I had been going to this store for a while, and had personally sent in multiple customers thinking I could help an LCS. I gave them my business instead of going to EBay, WhatNot, or other Card Stores. I will never return to, buy from, suggest, or endorse anyone to go to this store. Especially if you have kids, which is crazy considering half their store is Pokeman. Drive a little further, save a little money, have a better experience, and go anywhere else...especially if you have young kids. read more

This is a fun shop to stop into. I often times find myself looking at cards that I don't even collect just because of the variety! The staff are always friendly, especially the blonde female employee. She is quite bubbly and I had several pleasant conversations with her while stopping in. I appreciate that they are willing to answer any questions I have. They entertain my curiosity. read more

Stores like this are whats wrong with the hobby now. This is just basically scalping the scalpers. The prices are rediculous and I cation anyone who spends money here to just pass and go somewhere else. You can find better prices anywhere online. read more

Great service and a wide selection of cards! My son is really into Pokemon cards right now and Rizo has a bunch of singles, packs, and boxes. They've also got some international editions (mostly Japanese). Prices are on par with other shops, and their service is very friendly! read more

Cool little spot in the area. I found it by accident, and I liked the selection they had. I used my lunch break to check out the whole shop and chat it up. It was great to hear they're expanding their inventory soon and will move into have single hobby packs of cards soon. I picked up an awesome Dodgers framed World Series champs photo and ticket set for a great killer deal, in my opinion. The guy working up front was quiet at first, but once you get him talking he's super knowledgeable and friendly. I'll be rolling back by on a lunch break soon. read more

Good selection ok Pokémon ETBs and some boosters as well. They have baseball, football, and basketball but their soccer selection could use more selection, as they don't have any individual cards and just a few wax selections. The owner is great and super knowledgeable and is a pleasure to chat with and do business with. read more

Walked in was greeted but that was all wasn't given any conversation at all or asked if I wanted to purchase anything. The prices were truly absurd enough to make me laugh. A magic the gathering collector's spider man box goes for $400 MSRP or $350 off of TCGplayer the go to site for card games in United States. Their pricing was $650 which is hilarious as it'll most likely catch dust for a while. Selection is great, but pricing ain't I'd recommend going to a card show if you want better prices. read more

I walked in trying to find a nice birthday present for my dad as he is a big sports fan. The workers here were extremely helpful and answered any questions I had.
