Such a cute and unique little dessert spot! We ordered the strawberry croffle, lemonade, two macarons (Coffee Oreo and World Cone), and the tiramisu. The croffle was ABSOLUTELY delicious!! Definitely my favorite thing we tried and probably what I'd come back for. The macarons were also really unique -- they somehow tasted like an ice cream macaron without actually being ice cream The tiramisu was good, but tasted more like your average tiramisu. The lemonade was sweet and refreshing, although they could ease up a little on the sugar. Almost every sip had little sugar crystals in it, which made it a bit toooo sweet for me. I went back to SYNT Coffee this afternoon, just one day after my visit yesterday. Yesterday, I came here with my best friend for a Yelp Elite Experience and received a $30 credit. I used the entire credit on a Pistachio Croffle ($18) and a Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cake ($12). For the rest, I paid for a Strawberry Juice ($9, ordered with less ice) and a Blueberry Matcha Latte ($9) for my friend, for a total of $18, plus $1.73 in tax. Then came the tip... Yesterday, I accidentally selected 25%, and the tip alone came out to $12.43! My best friend said she wanted to go to the counter and ask about it because paying a $12 tip on an $18 order seemed way too much. But I stopped her and said, "Once I've already paid it, let's just leave it at that." The Pistachio Croffle I had yesterday was SO delicious that I couldn't stop thinking about it, so I decided to come back again today. Yesterday I came with my best friend, and today I came with My Mom and one of my brothers. My Mom ordered the Pistachio Croffle, and yesterday I had the Strawberry Juice, but today I ordered the Kiwi Juice. My brother had his car parked by valet in the very crowded mall parking lot and came into the coffee shop a little later. However, the employee taking our order told us that if we were dining in, each person had to order one item. My brother had an upset stomach and felt bloated after lunch, so he really didn't want to eat anything sweet. But since she kept saying that he had to order something, he eventually said he would just go outside and wait. Honestly, that made things a little uncomfortable for us today. So instead of dining in, we decided to get everything to go. Even so, they were nice and gave me an extra cup for the Kiwi Juice when I asked, so I could share it with My Mom. But when I opened the lid of the Kiwi Juice to pour some into the extra cup, the juice had been filled all the way to the top. As soon as I opened it, the Kiwi Juice spilled everywhere and completely covered my hand! I went to the restroom to wash my hands, but the person who had gone into the restroom before me stayed in there for such a long time that I ended up asking an employee for some paper towels and wiped my hands with those instead. The coffee shop was much more crowded today than it was yesterday. However, everything I've ordered here so far--both yesterday and today--has been absolutely delicious. When I was younger, and especially when I was much younger, I had a sweet tooth and absolutely loved eating all kinds of sweets. These days, I don't eat them very often because I'm trying to be more mindful of my health, although I still enjoy them once in a while. Today, though, thanks to Yelp, I feel like I finally got to properly enjoy a guilt-free guilty pleasure again after such a long time. One little note: I used to come to this location pretty often back when Mugongri Samgyeopsal (Korean BBQ Place) was in this shopping center and this place was called TPO Coffee. Even before that, a very long time ago, it was called Mr. Coffee, and I used to come here then, too. This was my first time coming back since it became SYNT Coffee Shop, and I really loved the new atmosphere. The interior is modern, clean, and stylish, and all of the employees were incredibly friendly. One detail I especially appreciated is that there are outlets for charging your phone right behind the tables. They're built into the wall instead of being down on the floor, which is such a smart and convenient touch! Honestly, everything about this coffee shop is great. And another HUGE plus: I heard that they're open until 4 AM on weekends, which is pretty amazing! Whenever I organize group gatherings with my Korean Singles group, I'm always looking for a coffee shop that stays open late after dinner. I think this place would be PERFECT for a group of 10-15 people. The tables are currently set up mostly for two or four people, but I think they could easily be pushed together for a larger group. For parking, valet is $5, but this place is always really packed. So, if you happen to find a street parking spot nearby, I'd definitely recommend parking on the street. Once again, Yelp helped me discover another great coffee shop, and I'm really glad I found this place. I have a feeling I'll be coming back here quite often! But when I think about it, I spent $32.16 at the coffee shop yesterday and another $30 today, so I ended up spending over $60 there in just two days. First time at this location and first time at SYNT Coffee. I was there sometime last week and was helped by a very sweet, nice lady. Her name was Rayna. She was very helpful, accommodating and caring. They have a vast menu options from pastries, cold and hot drinks. I ordered a Almond Iced cold Matcha and asked her not to make it too sweet. I can't deny it -- my favorite drink here is the honeycomb matcha with oat milk. From the first sip I fell in love. I only saw one table that had the reserved sign but it's ok, we made the short walk to California Market and ate within that plaza. The tiramisu was amazing and I noticed it was the last one on the display case so I went just in time. There was a good balance of coffee, cake, and mascarpone. For $12 it's not too bad, about 3cubic inch cake. The macaron was alright. This one was a larger size but I'd still say it was not worth $6. I've always found them too sweet. The macaron biscuit was well made but just not my taste. I did share this with a 9 year old and they really liked it of course. Lastly, the hazelnut banana latte was very good. Coffee flavor was strong but good balance in flavor, not too bitter and not too sweet either. I also liked the banana chips on top. Overall I'd get the coffee and the tiramisu again. I've been here a few times, and while the place itself is very clean and looks nice, the overall experience just isn't great. I tried the Mugwort Einspanner Latte, which was decent, not bad, but nothing memorable. The Pistachio Einspanner Latte was a bit too sweet and also didn't really stand out. So overall, drinks are below average. What bothered me the most, though, was the service. I had to order from the same person 3 times, and all times she came across as rude and completely uninterested. No greeting, no interaction she barely even spoke or look at the customer while taking the order. It just felt uncomfortable. So the most recent time I was there, while placing my order I even changed my mind and left. I really didn't want my day to be ruined by this experience. When I was leaving the server didn't even say bye, I mean, what else could be expected from this type of service. On top of that, the prices are higher than most other coffee spots in the area, and honestly, it doesn't feel justified. That might also explain why there's usually plenty of seating available. Overall, it's just not worth coming here. There are so many better places with stronger drinks and much friendlier service. read more

Solid little late night sweet treat! The one thing most Korean places don't have is desert. This place goes above and beyond in doing that. Really good cold case full of decadent cheese cake cups, cakes, jellies, etc. etc. They also had the best macaroon I have ever tasted. Super giant cream filled center and speckled with Korean cereal. Too freakin good! The service was fine but the staff is exhausted. I tried my best to engage and be silly and ask what their favorite was and they just pointed at the special Dubai chocolate poster with no emotion and said "this is popular." All good. I didn't come here to make friend. I came here to eat! Super cool atmosphere. Very posh indoor dining area with couches and plants and lounge vibes. Definitely a place I would play cards in while sipping on a boba. read more

What a great place to come late night. They have an amazing selection of non alcoholic drink with or without caffeine and a large selection of deserts. The drinks were amazing the cheesecake was overly sweet but it's probably because of my old age but still delicious. There is plenty of seatings and tables. Service is amazing! Very sweet staff! read more

I feel like this place has changed names so many times the past year, but I hope this one stays! It's super spacious and modern, and they have a few fun bites on display next to the entrance! For some reason, it just feels a little unorganized, and I didn't love how the menu was a little grungy and in crooked paper form. Also, the latte I ordered was a tad too sweet, and it's a bit shocking to see a $10 price tag on a latte. It still has that modern vibe and seems like a good place to chat or work :) read more
