Very nice cafe to get work done. Has outlets, wifi, seating, and volume of music was okay to focus. Service was nice, order at your table unlike other cafes. I will say their drinks are very mediocre. very. I can lock in at this cafe so I'd come again for that. They're also open late, perfect for college students. Let me know if there are any drinks you recommend from here!

What a great place to come late night. They have an amazing selection of non alcoholic drink with or without caffeine and a large selection of deserts. The drinks were amazing the cheesecake was overly sweet but it's probably because of my old age but still delicious. There is plenty of seatings and tables. Service is amazing! Very sweet staff!

SYNT Coffee in Koreatown is such a fun spot, especially if you're looking for somewhere open late. I stopped by and tried a mix of drinks and desserts, including their ceremonial matcha, espresso, shaved ice, cookies, and some of their Dubai chocolate items. Everything looked amazing and the matcha in particular stood out, super smooth and clearly high quality. The biggest plus is their hours. Being open until 2AM during the week and 4AM on weekends makes it a great late-night hangout spot, which is honestly hard to find in LA. The vibe is modern and a little trendy, and it's a great place to go with friends when you want something sweet after dinner.

This particular location has been about 10 things in 10 years, and here's the latest thing: SYNT (See You Next Time). Big and bright as could be with white walls and furnishings, there's plenty of room for you, your posse and your laptops. Show Me the Money KPop blaring. I'm always on the hunt for a delicious cream top einspanner latte, and here it is. With hours til 2am, you cannot go wrong. Friendly friendly staff and the sajangnim (사장님) is on the premises. You can give the boss a piece of your mind (or a compliment like I did). Elusive street parking or something like $5 "valet" in their lot. Valet but you park it, mister. Coffee menu is 20 pages long so there's something for everyone. Red velvet cream cheese cookie has got Yelp written all over it. Come get one!

Walking into SYNT Coffee in Koreatown feels like stepping into a space that was designed with equal parts intention and whimsy. I've visited plenty of cafés in Los Angeles, but SYNT has that rare ability to make you pause the moment you enter. The décor is stunning--modern without being cold, artistic without trying too hard. Soft neutral tones, sculptural seating, and warm lighting create a space that feels like a cross between a gallery and a cozy hideaway. It's the kind of place where you instantly want to sit down, take a breath, and stay longer than you planned. What struck me first was how thoughtfully curated everything felt. The textures, the shapes, the way the natural light hits the room--it all works together to create a calming, almost meditative environment. Even the small details, like the minimalist ceramics and the way drinks are presented, add to the experience. It's a café that understands aesthetics aren't just decoration; they're part of the flavor. The service at SYNT Coffee is genuinely delightful. Every interaction I had felt warm and unhurried, as if the staff actually enjoys being there. They're quick to offer recommendations, happy to talk through the drink options, and somehow manage to strike that perfect balance between friendly and unobtrusive. It's refreshing to feel welcomed without being rushed. I can't talk about SYNT Coffee without mentioning the Lotus Biscoff cookie. It's simple, sure, but somehow it becomes the perfect companion to their drinks. The caramelized crunch pairs beautifully with the creaminess of their matcha or coffee drinks. It's one of those small touches that elevates the whole experience--comforting, nostalgic, and just indulgent enough.

See you at SYNT. It is the perfect coffee shop for those coffee and tea lovers, it is opened until 2AM every week days & 4AM (Friday & Saturday). SYNT recently launched ceremonial matcha series that has a wide variety of drink choices, matcha is imported from Japan with the highest quality and flavor. The brand is close to launching their ceremonial matcha tins for you to try! Come check them out. You can pair your matcha with a large selection of desserts from cakes, croffles, shaved ice and macarons.

I've been here a few times, and while the place itself is very clean and looks nice, the overall experience just isn't great. I tried the Mugwort Einspanner Latte, which was decent, not bad, but nothing memorable. The Pistachio Einspanner Latte was a bit too sweet and also didn't really stand out. So overall, drinks are below average. What bothered me the most, though, was the service. I had to order from the same person 3 times, and all times she came across as rude and completely uninterested. No greeting, no interaction she barely even spoke or look at the customer while taking the order. It just felt uncomfortable. So the most recent time I was there, while placing my order I even changed my mind and left. I really didn't want my day to be ruined by this experience. When I was leaving the server didn't even say bye, I mean, what else could be expected from this type of service. On top of that, the prices are higher than most other coffee spots in the area, and honestly, it doesn't feel justified. That might also explain why there's usually plenty of seating available. Overall, it's just not worth coming here. There are so many better places with stronger drinks and much friendlier service.

Great environment, very much study vibes here, great to bring your laptop and study. Servers were really friendly and nice. Food and drinks were absolutely amazing and delicious. My favorite was the dubai strawberry chocolate and the sea salt caramel latte.

Happy international matcha day with @syntcoffee The most incredible ceremonial grade matcha in the best at this hip Los Angeles spot. The desserts are SO memorable, look at the Dubai chocolate bubble waffle!!! This go to spot is open late at night so we can go during so many fun times of the day. See you next time, at See You Next Time! #matcha #losangeles #matchalove #foodie #foodblogger

I had been here before when either it had different owners or it was a different name. Regardless the café has so much seating and has so many great coffee and Matcha drinks to choose from. the only thing I don't like is that parking is very limited and the parking lot associated with it is valet only. I ordered a cookie butter Matcha latte and it was so good. The mixture of the Matcha with the cookie butter went really good. It's a little on the sweet side more like a dessert Matcha than a traditional Matcha nevertheless really good.

Went for the first time, they asked if I wanted for here or to go. I said for here and they sat me down and gave me a menu. A couple minutes later he came and took my order. He was super nice and had recommendations. I came on a monday night and it was packed. A great place for night owls, doing working, or getting a sweet treat with friends. They have wifi. Parking wasn't bad late at night.

I feel like this place has changed names so many times the past year, but I hope this one stays! It's super spacious and modern, and they have a few fun bites on display next to the entrance! For some reason, it just feels a little unorganized, and I didn't love how the menu was a little grungy and in crooked paper form. Also, the latte I ordered was a tad too sweet, and it's a bit shocking to see a $10 price tag on a latte. It still has that modern vibe and seems like a good place to chat or work :)

Came here pretty late and I love that they stay open really late. It's such a good spot for late night hangouts or even studying. Even around 1AM, the place was still busy with lots of customers, but there are plenty of seats inside so it didn't feel too cramped. Their drink menu is huge, which I liked because there are so many unique options to try. We did have to wait about 25 minutes, but it was pretty packed so it made sense. It is on the pricier side as we paid $54 total, but the drinks and desserts felt high quality and unique. I LOVED their Dubai Chewy Cookie. We got the original and strawberry, and both were so good. They put a generous amount of kanafeh, which gave it an amazing texture. For drinks, we ordered the Tiramisu Einspanner Caffe Latte, Sweet Potato Latte, and Black Sesame Einspanner Latte. The black sesame latte was SO good! Super nutty and rich. The sweet potato latte was also one of my favorites; it really tasted like sweet potato in the best way. I also liked that the drinks weren't overly sweet, which I personally prefer. The Tiramisu latte was just okay in my opinion, but not bad. Parking is a bit limited and mostly valet, which can be a downside. Overall, I really enjoyed this spot. Great for late nights, studying, and trying unique drinks and desserts. Definitely will be back!

We came on Memorial Day around 3pm, and we waited in a decent line. It was fast-moving, and thankfully, we managed to get a table in the indoor seating area right away. To-go was not an option because we'd ordered the signature mango sticky rice shaved ice, which is HEFTY. It's like eating a dessert meal in terms of serving size, but it's light and fresh enough to follow a Thai food lunch from one of the nearby restaurants (which is what we did). The mango sticky rice shaved ice was delicious. If you like either mango sticky rice or Taiwanese mango shaved ice (or Korean bingsoo), you will love this. It's served with condensed milk, sticky rice, and additional mango on the side to add on as you eat. It's definitely enough for at least 2-3 people to share. We also had a couple orders of gelato, which surpassed our expectations. One of us, who spent 4 months in Italy, said it was some of the best gelato she'd ever had. Standout flavors included jasmine matcha and Earl Grey Thai tea. Do yourself a favor and stop by! We got pretty lucky with parking because all the nearby meters were free for Memorial Day, and I can imagine parking might be difficult at night. But this dessert is well worth a parking hassle!

love kanomwaan so much - probably my most visited dessert spot ever (12x since 12/2024)…read more everyone is so friendly and helpful here :) parking is rough at most hours but i always just do metered parking and walk 5-10 mins over. it's always worth it! cute ambience and small seating area - gets packed later into the evening.
