I opted to sit downstairs and found a cozy little corner to myself, where I could enjoy a solo moment and people-watch in between chapters. With the breeze coming through all the open doors, it was hella nice to spend the morning here, even though it was already starting to get warm outside! Now, let's get into this MATCHA. I came in to knock out a couple hours of work and ended up staying most of the afternoon. The space is the reason. It's an old warehouse and they had the sense not to over-renovate it -- the original wood rafters are exposed overhead, the steel columns are left raw, and there's a mezzanine running along one side with cable railing so you can look down over the whole room. Front wall is all glass, so from midday on the light comes in long and warm across the concrete. Plants everywhere, none of it precious. It's a genuinely well-designed room, and I don't say that lightly. They named the place after an espresso dose, which is a quiet way of telling you what they care about, and the coffee holds up to it. There's a pink La Marzocco you'll spot from the door, and everything I ordered was dialed in properly. The pastry case is worth a slow look too -- chorizo cheddar croissant, spinach dip croissant, strawberry cream morning bun, a few gluten-free and vegan options. More range than most cafés this size bother with. As a work spot: upstairs is quieter and you're out of the register traffic. Downstairs is better if you want the light. It's busy but never loud in a way that broke my focus. Staff were kind and never once made me feel like I'd overstayed. That matters more than people admit. I'll be back a lot. read more

What a gorgeous space! 20g has a really nice patio space with outdoor tables big enough to gather with friends or set up your laptop for work or studying. They have some indoor tables on the first floor and then even more in the balcony second floor seating. It feels nearly Frank Lloyd Wright-esque with a tree growing out of the second floor. Absolutely love the interior design and all the nature vibes at 20g! I had their Signature Cold Brew Bomb which sounded very cool with their signature espresso cream top. I liked it and it was definitely a fun drink. My friend had the Strawberry Matcha and it was such a pretty layered matcha. I really enjoyed their vegan chocolate chip cookie and loved that they warmed it up for us. I wasn't overly impressed with ganache pop tart, but that's okay! It just wasn't for me. Awesome spot in k-town that has many seats indoor/outdoor. Very aesthetic and staff friendly. Great place for studying and catching up with friends and family. Went on a weekend and overall great vibes with options for coffee/tea. I got the coconut espresso creamtop for my first go around. Tbh I thought it was a coffee drink with coconut water but its just a creamtop on top of coconut water lol which did not meet my expectations. Thats on me tho, shouldve read the menu better. Also got the Cold Brew Bomb which was the better drink compared to the coconut drink, but was just ok. I'll just stick to the regular coffee items for next time. I was a bit skeptical to try the Coconut Espresso Cream Top from here because I've had similar drinks and they tasted sour! However, the one here was so good! My friend who tasted it also agreed. I can see why it's one of their most popular drinks. The drink was sweet, refreshing, and gave that energy boost needed from the espresso cream top. The cream top was flavorful and creamy. Mixed with the coconut water, it was just so smooth and delicious! Might even order two of them next time I visit haha. This cafe in Ktown is also an ideal place to work/study at! There's wifi (password: welove20g) and lots of outlets and seating. However, it can get packed during peak times such as weekend noons and afternoons, so plan accordingly. They have music playing in the background, but at the time I went it wasn't too loud. The cafe is pretty big and nice. There's outside seating and even an upstairs seating area. A great, high-energy spot that's super convenient for getting some work done over a coffee. Honestly, the parking lot in the back is nice. The place was pretty packed when I stopped by on a Friday afternoon which was about 80% full. There's so much indoor and outdoor seating and they've got free Wi-Fi and outlets at some of the seats. Just a heads-up that they play music, so the noise level is a bit on the average to louder side, but it's a good vibe if you like some background energy. read more

I went here today in the afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. There is a lot of seating and they also had upstairs seating as well. I got the matcha latte and strawberry matcha latte. The matcha flavor wasn't as strong for both lattes, it tasted more like oat milk. The strawberry also was a bit overpowering. I also got the cookie and it was the perfect amount of salt. Cute new cafe in Ktown. I came on a Friday morning and to my surprise there was a parking lot, how amazing for Ktown! The cafe itself was a very pretty inside and spacious. It has two floors stories with plenty of tables so definitely good for getting some work done. They have a decent selection of drinks and many pastries. I went with an iced latte. It was fine. But I do feel like it was a little bit on the more expensive side compared to other iced lattes in the area. Regardless this place has very chill vibes and a parking lot so I take that as a big win for Ktown. I was really excited to see that a new coffee shop near my friend's place had opened up. I love the aesthetics and vibe of the cafe & a big plus is that it's right across pigya! There's plenty of parking in the back and it's connected to baekjeong. There's plenty of seating area (upstairs, downstairs, & outside) which makes it a great place to catch up with friends. There's plenty of outlets, tables, & the WiFi is great. I studied here for about 6 hours and the WiFi never glitched on me. The tables are a bit small. I wish there were more tables fit for 4 instead of 2. It barely fits two MacBooks & 2 iPads, nothing else. As for the drinks, they were pretty good but nothing that blew me away. I got the coconut cold foam & my friend got a vanilla latte. They weren't too sweet which I really appreciated. However, 3 hours into my study session, I started getting sleepy. Both my friend and I agreed that there wasn't enough coffee/caffeine in our drinks. Overall, I would come back since it's a perfect place to study. I love the openness of the cafe and how I can still enjoy the outside while staying inside to study. They're pet friendly as well! I would try a different drink if I came back though. read more

This place just opened recently. It is a cute place for a quick morning snack , specialty coffee, tea or matcha. Orders are made at the counter and they either call your name or your order out depending on how busy they are. There is plenty of seating especially with the patio outside. I checked out 20g, and this relatively new space is easily one of my new favorite cafés in the city. The layout is fantastic, with plenty of room to get work done inside and a cool outdoor area to catch some fresh air. The service is amazing, and the drinks are absolutely top notch. I ordered the coconut water with the espresso cream top, and it is easily one of the best drinks I've had in a long time. The rich cream blends perfectly with the refreshing coconut water, creating a total standout beverage. What a pleasantful coincidence, being in Ktown and trying to find a café I haven't tried, then Gmap brought me to 20g. Even couldn't find it yet in Yelp and asking the barista, they indeed just opened their door for the first time yesterday. The place was super spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seats. The open window made natural light flew it super nicely with the breeze under the sunny LA sky. Perfect ambiance for just chilling or even enjoying mother nature while focusing on work on my laptop. The drinks were still quite limited to basic coffee / tea / matcha menu as of now, but I was told that they're coming soon with more specialty drinks! Obviously being in Ktown, cream top addition would always be available. I tried their iced vanilla latte with almond milk and their latte with cream top. The cream top itself wasn't really that sweet, so if you preferred something on the sweeter side you might wanna add syrup to your drink. The coffee overall was decent and price wise it's coming at typical LA level. My top highlight was surely the spacious areas and the dedicated parking at the back. If this place was slightly closer to home, it could come as new member to my go-to WFC spot list. read more

I loved how spacious and aesthetic the cafe was, with ample outdoor patio, indoor, as well as upstairs seating - making it a great spot to work, relax, or hang out. There's a parking lot in the back with free parking which is huge plus too, especially in Ktown. They have free wifi as well, but occasionally felt slightly slow at times when I was working. Food - 3/5 My partner and I were told that they have amazing coffee and source amazing croissants from a local bakery so we figured we'd go and try out the coffee and croissants. My partner enjoyed his coffee and said it was pretty on par with some of the other coffee shops in the neighborhood but this did not take over our favorite. I was pretty disappointed that the cup wasn't even full (there was about 1/3 of empty space and mine tasted more like milk (though my partner said it tasted more of vanilla- we go vanilla lattes) compared to his. As far as the pastries we got, they said they changed their pastry vendor and no longer had croissants so we got a cinnamon roll and something else. Both tasted stale which was disappointing since we went at 8:30a so I'd imagine the pastries would taste fresher. For $40 for two coffee and two pastries I'm not going to lie that it definitely felt like it hit the wallet really hard for mediocre coffee and pastries (though, seriously the pastries feel like robbery with them tasting stale) Service - 4/5 The staff was friendly and super helpful with answering questions. Ambiance - 4/5 They have lots of open space and seating. They also opened their windows which also made the space feel even bigger. It definitely was a vibe spot that's kinda tucked away and can easily be missed but I guess that's also apart of the charm that it's a hidden and spacious so you can just sit and enjoy the atmosphere with a cup of coffee. The owner is actually the most respectful, kindest, sweetest lady you'll ever meet. I sat with my cousin at a party of the cafe that wasn't open. Instead of asking us to leave she decided to seat us upstairs on a big table but it was full. Not once did she mention that we should sit outside and found a spot inside the cafe. Although it was much smaller than where we were, me and my cousin love the tenuously and serious she carried. However everyone else was racist. The menu is fairly limited compared to other coffee shops but you won't be disappointed with their drinks. Pastries could be a bit better though. They do offer WiFi and have a parking lot behind the business. Customer service was good and were fast in making your order. This new coffee shop in Koreatown might just be the new IT spot... The moment you enter, you can tell they really took their time designing the space. It felt super airy, beautifully designed and every corner felt like a photo dream. From the black stone countertops that accents perfectly with their iconic custom black pink La Marzocco. I got to try the coconut water with an espresso cream top which isn't on the menu yet, but definitely order it when they release it because this combo is too good. There's tons of indoor and outdoor seating plus a whole second floor, so it's perfect for coworking, hanging with a friend, or just a quick coffee stop.
