Yuck. I don't even think it is open anymore...... Kids working it, eating food while they work. Not a clean or well run place.

I travel regularly from Nashua to Hampton Beach and there are many JMs along the way, but the…read moreMerrimack shop is my go-to shop every time. The sandwiches are piled high - more so than other JMs I have found. The employees are positive and seem to actually enjoy working there - can't say that for a lot of other fast food places. I always get the giant size so that I have leftovers for the next day's lunch.

Ya know what I like most about this Jersey Mike's? The fact that it sits conveniently close to my…read moretop two favorite places to buy fries from: Papa Gino's and McD's. I'm being serious. If someone were to ask me what's the difference between this location versus another, it would solely come down to what else is near it. Because I'm a guy who likes to mix-n-match his mains and sides, if you know what I mean. Listen, I love JM's. Loved them ever since the first cheesesteak I ever tasted of theirs. But the one thing the Amherst street location lacks...is a worthwhile place to grab a quick order of fries from. Meanwhile, the Merrimack location is but a hop, skip, and a jump away from completing what I like to call "short order perfection personified." I mean, if I could change one thing about JM's as a franchise, it's that they'd serve fries in addition to chips. But....to each their own, right? Other than that, it's still got all the greatness one can expect from a standard JM's. The Chicken Philly I ordered was cooked to perfection (of course). And I dunno what it is. But it seems like Merrimack restaurants in general hold themselves to a higher standard. So, I would expect nothing less. This may be the place I go to if I'm in the mood for fries with my sammich. For the sheer convenience alone, I'm gonna give Jersey Mike's in Merrimack 5 Chicken Philly's with a side of fries out of 5.

Kinda torn here. The chicken was the most tender I have ever had. No exaggeration. But the breading…read moreand sauce were bland and spiceless. A 5 year old's dream. While I applaud the idea of a minimalist menu, this place goes too far. If you get the Caniac Combo, you literally have gotten -everything- on the menu. Sides and sauce (note: not sauces) included.

The first time I ever tried a Raising Cane's was back when we were still living in the "915"…read more(IYKYK). At that time, I hadn't yet tried the famous Cane's sauce; mainly because my wife somehow convinced me it wasn't worth my time. She said she didn't care for it. I fail to see why. Because after trying some for the first time today, I can tell you their sauce could give Chick-Fil-A sauce a run for its money! It may look like thousand island dressing, but it tastes like a party in my mouth. Only wish I'd ordered more. Pro tip: if you're getting more than 3 strips of chicken, get extra sauce! Trust me on this one. Your palate will thank you later. Not only are the chicken strips big and meaty, their fries are even more sensational. Now, it's been a few years since I last got to enjoy one of my favorite fast food fries (whoa-try saying THAT fast 3 times) of all time. But these crinkled little fellas are better than I remember. Crisp on the outside and seasoned to the nines, this meal as a whole gets a 10. This location has a particular drive thru setup I've never seen at any of the other Cane's I've visited. In order to understand the configuration of their drive thru, I'll have to explain how their parking lot is orientated. There are actually two entrance/exit points leading into the parking lot; one before and one after you pass the Cane's building. Regardless of which entrance you use, each one does a giant U-turn leading back to a dual-lane drive thru. If you're doing curbside pickup (as I did), you simply drive past the drive thru entrance, pull up to the left side of the building if you're facing the street, and there you'll see the curbside pickup signs. This design is so clever, I'm shocked more restaurants haven't implemented this. It's made so that, even if you accidentally pass the RC sign, there's still an opportunity to use the second entrance. As you can imagine, we were so stoked when we first heard they were building one of these in Manchester. And now it's finally a reality! Sufficed to say, we will certainly be visiting this place in the future. Raising Cane's in Manchester gets 5 chicken strips dipped in party mouth sauce out of 5.
