It is not made clear that meat, veg and cheese aren't included in your breakfast entree price, be prepared to almost faint when the breakfast total for two is $44!!! Online menu shows price increases for meat and veg, which should be shown in-person at the time of ordering. Seating isn't plentiful, so make sure one of you gets seating while the other orders. Our bill came to $50 for a kids meal, one Roadside entree meal and a kids size ice cream legend. Shocking. There are additional added charges for everything. You could spend the same amount and eat at a nice sit down restaurant. When we questioned the prices (as were genuinely confused), the woman working the window was clearly frustrated with us and told us to call a man named Joey tomorrow to voice our complaints. I can only speak to the ice cream and not the food (the food looked good but I didn't eat any) but the ice cream was amazing. Lots of flavors and delicious sundae/parfait/specialties. $30.00 for two burgers. They charged $5.00 for mushrooms on each of them. Yeah, there were a lot of mushrooms, but they caused so much moisture that it went right through the papery cardboard container they put them in. What a mess. You could not pick up the burger. Had to take the top bun off and carefully try to eat the burger and mushrooms out of it because the fork kept poking through the container. The bottom bun was a soggy mess. Putting on a ton of mushrooms does not justify the cost. This burger is one you cannot pick up and eat. A regular burger with a normal about of mushrooms, at a fair price would have been great. We ate here for brunch after finding out the wait at the Nucleus was too long, and boy were we glad! We had the breakfast sandwiches and an omelet, the food was absolutely delicious and more than you could possibly eat all for a modest price. I went there Saturday and was shocked to see the lobby crammed wall to wall with people and not a mask in sight. Chose to use the drive through instead. We had to wait close to an hour for our $60 order, which was bad enough, but I wish I'd known at that time that the owners were encouraging people to ignore public health warnings about COVID19. There is a sign prominently displayed inside stating "do not wear masks. Do not use social distancing. An asymptomatic carrier is a healthy person". To top it off, they're clearly misogynistic (another sign is up about women being "spoiled brats"). As a woman, a mother of girls (and boys), and as an RN I am horrified. I will never again visit this restaurant. If you don't believe in science or infectious health experts, this is the place for you. read more

Enjoyed breakfast at Roadside this morning! What an exceptional place!! The food can't be beat and the staff are amazing. The portions are incredible and everything you get is of the highest quality. Honestly, since this switched from Dairy Queen I was a little skeptical. But! The ice cream is the same just GIANT we came for breakfast and the OWNER told us to share a meal because it's too much for one person to have. We also ordered coffees for our meal and she goes "every cup of coffee gets a free doughnut." Needless to say, its affordable and you will leave stuffed! Doughnuts were fresh and tasted homemade and not store bought. Coffee was delicious. Food was very very good. 100% recommend read more

The tacos are fantastic! They are more like a burrito with the tortillas made fresh every day and thicker then your average tortilla. They had fresh pico and I added guacamole to mine for a little extra cost. Reasonably priced and super friendly staff. The owner waited on us personally. Our friends tried the Chicago dog and loved it. Every time they visit we have to go here for there Novelty bars. If nothing else try these. They call them Dilly Bars on crack . Yes the place is small, and the wait was longer than typical, but so worth it! I'm admittedly nostalgic for this place since we frequented it often in my childhood when it was DQ.
