Inside of this place was very spacious and what I really enjoyed about it was that they provided games so you can hangout with some friends and play. It's not a typical coffee shop because of the setup but it's really cool. It seems like they have events frequently like karaoke and some other events which I think is pretty cool! The drinks were on the sweeter side but they were really good. I got the chai and compared to other places the chai taste is very subtle, it almost had like a gingerbread taste to it, it reminded me of Christmas. No additional cost for milk alternatives. Andres was friendly and patient waiting for us to study the menu since we were indecisive. They have some board games. Clean and simple seating area. Cinnamon Date Dream- really really sweet, not sure if you can ask to adjust sweetness. I usually order boba milk teas with 50% sweetness for reference. Salted Caramel & Coconut- there isn't any taste of coconut, salted caramel isn't salted enough and just a hint. **Update** Response to business owner- drinks were requested to not be stirred for photos. I actually loved this coffee place but a 20 minute wait for one medium drink is what I encountered when I went. I've gone twice and as much as I LOVEEE the drinks, it's hard for me to justify going when I sit and wait for 20-30 minutes for my one drink (With 1 person ahead of me). They have games and open seating areas so if you're with a group of friends and don't mind waiting, i would say to try it! It's honestly such good coffee. We explored a Latino owned coffee shop in Montebello, CA. Roam & Brew Coffee started off as a catering coffee service that has now found an established location inside Angry Horse Brewery. This populated coffee shop provides its strength in advertising themselves, whether it is for car shows or for City of Montebello government employees! The owner of the store was immediately welcoming and told us a bit of Roam & Brew's story. He mentioned that all his syrups contain cane sugar, which provides that natural and fresh flavoring. They also get fresh beans weekly! We ordered the hot Sea Salt Caramel & Vanilla latte with oatmilk. This drink contains a salty texture, where the barista notified us that they infused their beans in a salty mix. This drink has a slight caramel taste that doesn't overwhelm the pallet. Most of the delicious sweetness would be from the vanilla syrup. We also ordered their most popular drink: iced Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso which already contains oatmilk. We've had some pretty poor tasting brown sugar shaken espresso--and Starbucks doesn't execute it so well either. However, Roam & Brew creates a delicious flavor, using actual brown sugar instead of a syrup. There's so much delicious and balanced sweetness, which they also top their drink with a cream foam! There's a slight cinnamon flavor that doesn't kill the drink either. It's all perfectly balanced and present. We ordered their pastries made by the owner's daughter's school principal! All the breads, muffins, and cookies are made with sourdough and pair perfectly with their drinks. Roam & Brew was a surprise find, and we were so happy to come across an amazing coffee shop with such a wonderful story! We recommend this location to anyone by the area! Sadly, this is yet again another social media catfish cafes. I got two matchas- one was strawberry and one was pumpkin. Both were watery. They say they use ceremonial grade but the color was off and the taste was bad. Tasted like water with sugar. I don't recommend it. I'm only giving 3 stars because the pumpkin loaf was good and they gave me a refund. After seeing how weirdly the owner remembered my whole experience, I would advise nobody goes. I asked for cold foam on BOTH drinks. Not my problem the cashier didn't add it. I refused to pay! HAHA I didn't want to charge my credit card for the $1 and wait in line. Roam & Brew has been on my list for several months now due to the fact that it's really out of the way for me. Last Friday, I had decided to stop by here right after getting home from work which took me a good 40 minutes. There's conveniently a private parking lot available for this coffee spot as well as a few other businesses next to it. When I entered the coffee shop, I noticed a long line of about 7 to 10 people. I also observed a few parties waiting patiently for their drinks. There was one barista when I arrived around 9:30 AM or so with over 10 drinks in queue. A few people in line left because of the wait but I drove all this way to try them out so I had nothing better to do than to just wait. Once it was my time to order, I opted to get their Cinnamon Date Dream, half sweet, with oat milk. I was given an eta of 20 minutes. Once I had sat down after ordering, there were a good 10 people in line. The drinks were delayed heavily due to the fact that there were some phone/pickup orders waiting to be fulfilled first. About 25 minutes from the time I entered, another worker showed up which is unacceptable for a high volume coffee spot like this one. Once the 35 minute mark hit, my drink was ready. By this time, I waited about 20 minutes after ordering which hit the eta right on the dot. Now on to the drink. The date syrup was sweet as expected but had great flavor. You can definitely taste the cinnamon as well but not so much the espresso. This is a drink for you people that pretend to like coffee because it was more like a dessert beverage. I would normally give a 2-star review for this type of experience but at least the main barista working solo at the time was friendly and not flustered due to the long lines. They should've had the second barista available way before the line even started. This is a compact coffee shop by day and brewery at night. Unfortunately, my drink didn't hit the mark and I will not be back due to the overall experience. Spending 35+ minutes in a coffee shop just to get one subpar drink shouldn't happen. read more

Saw this coffee shop opened up nearby and decided to give it a try. It's great- I personally think the coffee here is a bit more fragrant than Cafe Santo (which I love!). Drinks are on the sweeter side, but in the best way possible. I overheard that they have sugar-free options, so if you're conscious about that, be sure to talk to the baristas. They're very kind and fast workers! I really, really love the layout of the store. There's large working tables, and it's attached to a brewery in case you want to have a little fun after work.
