This was my second time here, love the spa pedicure itself, but when it comes to polishing your toenails it's horrific. The first visit when I had my toenails polished I thought it was just the pink color I choose. So my second visit, I received the same results. --- solid NEGATIVE 5 stars. Boo! The customer service was horrible, never have I felt so incredibly mistreated by the owner and staff! They had these slips that you fill out - similar to when you order a sandwich at a grocery store deli just to give you some context. I checked the box "manicure for gel polish" & pedicure. One girl did my pedicure (she was pleasant btw) and one girl did my manicure (the $hit starter, maybe her name was Nina). The manicurist asked me in broken English "gel polish only"? I said "yes", thinking I want a manicure gel polish only = nails cut, cuticles cleaned, gel polish. She proceeded to cut my nails/file and then painted my nails with clear coat gel polish b4 curing it under the UV light. I thought it was odd that she did this before I got my fingers soaked in water to get my cuticles cut and cleaned, I didn't think much of it - maybe this comes after the gel color (visiting from CA and not familiar with how things are done in TX - heck i'm not a nail tech, I wouldn't know what's typical). Fast forward, she was done. I'm like okay, I guess maybe they don't cut cuticles here. The pedicurist (the other girl) noticed that only my nails were painted without having my cuticles cleaned and she asked me didn't you want a "manicure"? Yes, I did but since (apparently) service was completed, I didn't want to make a big deal - at this point I just wanted to pay and be done. However, the pedicurist confronted the manicurist that she did not provide the service that I requested and the owner got involved. He rudely reprimanded me that I "confused" his staff (when it clearly lays out what I wanted on that stupid slip they have you fill out) and the staff came over and scolded me that I had gotten her in trouble! In what universe do you treat a customer in such distasteful manner - I'm so confused, I was in complete shock and disbelief of the level of unprofessionalism from not only the owner but the staff. WOW! WOW! Triple WOW! To the owner and staff: your customer service is beyond unprofessional. I don't know how business is run in Vietnam, but there is no place for that kind of BS here.You are running a business and your customers are your livelihood - behavior like this will deter customer's support & loyalty i.e., money in your pocket! "No Money, No Honey!" Get that straight. Staffs: I understand your Vietnamese, stop gossiping and bad-mouthing your customers. If you got nothing nice to say whether in English or Vietnamese, than STFU. I won't be coming back, especially after the uncomfortable and hostile situation that I was cornered into today. read more

Not a good experience. I wanted a mani and pedi, when the tech was done with the pedi she started working on someone else. Then when someone asked me what I was waiting on, she told me I should have told her I wanted both... I checked both off on the paper she read before starting on the pedi, plus I told the person that greeted me at the door I wanted a mani and pedi. I just paid for the pedi and left. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon, no appointment, and got in quite quickly. That part was nice, but the rest of my experience was awful. I got a white dip manicure and it turned out so thick, bulky, and very uneven. 1. The lady was texting other customers during my appointment. 2. I broke my pinky nail before coming in, and I told her and she glued the tip and cut it too short and had to rip it off. This hurt more than I could've ever imagined and she was way to rough and cut me, and burned me with the filing machine and should've been way neater and smoother. 3. At the end of my appointment she told me that she accidentally glued different size tips for the same nails and that is why they looked uneven and she found it funny and she said keep it a secret. Need to improve customer service, make employees be more careful without making the customers bleed every time they come in. This is my favorite place to get my nails done. I've gone to every salon in southlake thinking they would be better then other but I was so mistaken. Roanoke nails, nail techs are all amazing I love crystal. The owner is so amazing and accommodating. Everyone that works here are so great and welcoming. Best place ever!!! Not only do I love my dip nails and pedicures, but their customer service is the best! It was pouring rain when I finished my nails today, and I had left my umbrella in my truck that was parked WAY out in the flooded parking lot. So had to update my original review because my daughter went with me and got the dipping powder on her fingers which usually lasts 2-3 weeks! It's been 5 days and her nails are all cracking/chipping! Definitely avoid this place if you want what you pay for!! My original review: The place is very nice, seemed clean. The massage during the pedicure was basically just a girl touching my legs and feet, not a massage. My daughter had the exact same, no pressure "massage". They cleaned up the messy polish with a little paint brush all around every toe when they finished which I thought was great until I got home and spent 20 minutes cleaning up the mess on my toes! Sad I have to go back out to southlake, I had high hopes after reading reviews!! read more

Long experience short - sloppy toes for one. Then for my gel it was streaky so I told her to just take it off (politely ) and reminded her it wasn't her fault.... but instead she became VERY rude and I saw her roll her eyes are me from across the room.... as I was checking out she still wanted to charge me for my "manicure" that looked like crap due to her drilling the gel off... no manager was there today which made things even more frustrating. When I first walked it it was a nice little spot, haven't been here before so I thought I would give it a try. I wanted coffin shape acrylics & my mom got a French gel manicure. I didn't get coffin shape, she cut them squared, & after 3 days it looked like I needed a fill & the manicure was peeling off, we went back & they fixed the manicure (after waiting about 40 mins) but they insisted my nails looked fine & they didn't need to get fixed. Great pedicure and dipped nails. I've been very impressed with the level of detail and care they take doing mani/pedi. Especially with the 'dipped' nails they made them look very natural and were ok to leave them short as I requested so I can grow them out. Facility is clean and the staff is very friendly!! This was by far the most painful pedicure I've ever experienced!!! Crystal was obviously unhappy today and was very painfully careless throughout the entire process. I use to be a regular, but had not been here for about 6 months since the shop was sold. I didn't notice any other patrons having the same experience with their nail technicians. I don't like new management. Traci is no longer the owner..... I got acrylics with pink and white tips and the powder turned out to be a greenish pink when under different lighting.. Ugly. I asked to get a gel paint over my nails and for me to do that I would of had to pay full price $35 when I already paid $40 for my nails .... never coming back here again.
