Every time we come in, we hardly ever leave without spending approximately $400-$600 or more on services for me, my daughter, my mother, and my sister. Each of us typically gets a dip manicure and a gel pedicure. In addition to the $400-$600 or more spent on services, we also tip each nail technician $20 in cash for each service, which is approximately another $160 in tips per visit. We have been loyal customers and have consistently supported this salon with significant business. Two weeks ago, an appointment was missed that had been made under my mother's name. At the time, I was in the hospital recovering from a hysterectomy. I had only been released from the hospital less than 24 hours earlier and was at home recovering and heavily medicated. Unfortunately, my mother did not cancel the appointment, and I completely understand that the salon has a right to be frustrated by a missed appointment. What I do not understand, or excuse, is the way management chose to handle it. When I attempted to explain the circumstances to Erica, rather than having a professional conversation with me, she became argumentative and began yelling. There was no attempt to show understanding or even simply communicate the salon's missed-appointment policy. The interaction was unnecessarily hostile and completely disproportionate to the situation. Since then, I have attempted to call the salon several times, and my calls have repeatedly been answered and immediately disconnected by Erica. I have never experienced this kind of behavior from a business I have patronized regularly, especially after spending hundreds of dollars on services and tips each visit. It has only reinforced my decision that I no longer want to give Entrada my business. A missed appointment can be addressed professionally. Customers can be reminded of policies, charged a cancellation fee, or simply told that future appointments cannot be accommodated. What is unacceptable is treating a customer who is explaining that she was literally recovering from surgery as though she deserves to be berated and then apparently refusing to communicate with her afterward. Good businesses understand that customer service matters most when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, my experience with Entrada's management demonstrated the opposite. I will be taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty of salons that can provide good nail services; finding one that also treats its customers with basic professionalism and respect is apparently the more important distinction.

While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. She made a great first impression, and if I were to return, I would specifically request an appointment with her.

Extremely dissatisfied with this place! Ive been to Roanoke nails in the past, and never had a bad experience until now. My nails were not done right the first time or second time when I had to come back. After the second time, When I explained to the woman that they still were not right, another woman started yelling at me rudely. She said if I wanted a refund, for her to take them off. She continued to yell at me when I just wanted the issue the correct way. The whole experience was uncomfortable and embarrassing. I asked for a refund in the end, and told them they could just take my nails off. Then they told me they couldnt refund my money. I will never come back to Roanoke nails. As far as Im concerned, they are shady and dishonest; and have horrible customer service. read more

This is the worst nail experience I have ever had. I woke up early this morning excited to go pamper myself and I was extremely disappointed. The lady who did my finger nails made me bleed on five different fingers. My hands are throbbing right now. All she had to say was "oh you're just sensitive". Yes I know that. But I have gone to a bunch of different nail salons and never had this issue. They treated me like I was a nuisance the entire time. When I politely complained about my nails all she did was grab 5 dollars from her purse and hand it to me with an attitude. My nails are uneven and thick.
