There's a New coffee roaster in town which offers great coffee. They don't have a lot of space, so the seating area is limited. It's not really a cafe, it's more like a coffee take out place. They have different whole beans for sale, as well as cold and hot fresh coffee. Once you order, they grind the bean and brew coffee with a pour over style. It was delicious. And they make simple but delicious avocado smash!!! It was so good I couldn't stop eating it!! Its a must try..!! Service is great and welcoming. They have plenty of parking in front. I saw they offer various coffee tasting events and a coffee growler club. It might be great chance to learn about coffee and the art of roasting. read more

This independent coffee spot sits no more than 2 minutes away from Starbucks, a big competitor but #KoffeewagonRoasters seems to be doing just fine and I can see why. Very cute spot. I love the big chalk sign that shows the coffee of the day along with what type of roast. Stopped by for a second time for the iced Manzi Mocha -hot chocolate with 2 espresso shots. ($4.50) they also offer a quadruple ($6) with 4 shots of espresso for those who need the extra boost. It's a great drink but next time I'll skip the hot chocolate and try the latte on its own. I noticed they do their own roasting and brewing right behind the counter space, which guarantees fresh KOFFEE :) Come by and check this spot out....nice and friendly workers as well! read more

Adorable, clean, and modern -homey coffee shop. They have various types of roasts for the sweet tooth and the "I like my coffee black" person. They only have one things to eat now, (Avocado smash on toast), but people stand by this. I was impressed with the ice coffee. I ddint have to put one splash of milk/creamer or sugar in it, it was great just how it was. The staff is cheerful, very friendly, and will make great suggestions. I wanted to do the upcoming Elite Event at Koffeewagon but my BFF didn't like the idea of me hanging without her especially with rowdy Yelpers so I wimped out and decided to do a solo and check it out Koffeewagon now. Koffeewagon is new and they just opened in January and they are on Route 17 S, you can easily miss it so just look for KFC, or Taco Bell, it in the small strip mall right after them. The manager and his wife were cool, friendly and every helpful and did not mind I was taking photos while they waited for me to order. The place has lots of brown paper coffee bags with all kinds of exotic and premium coffees. Beside T-Shirts and coffee cups for sale they actually have a coffee bean roaster that they use a few times a week, but not today so I could not get that sent of freshly roasted coffee. I looked at the brews on the menu and see something called the Manzi Mocha that has hot chocolate and 2 shots of Espresso and ask for it on ice. The menu also listed avocado smash but they said they ran out, too bad they didn't have it because I want to find a Jersey spot for it other than than Manhattan and I was not interested in there frozen Waffles or toasty bread so it was only coffee to go. The Manzi tasted good with a hint of chocolate and the strong coffee but I don't now if and when I will come again, what about they don't have any smash? read more

Beans ground the moment it is to be used then the pour over method to get the best tasting coffee. Steamed milk added if you fancy. They have a grand opening check-in avail for $1.50 for a 16 oz cup. That is a steal for a handcrafted cup. Get the sumatra bean if you are into dark roasted coffee. Such great depth of flavor without being too overpowering. Not much food available besides avocado smash and a pbj. Breads hail from Balthazar but as an Englewood resident its our local bakery so not much of a lure for me. Parking was easy as it is in a small strip mall. Two stools avail if you wish to linger. Service was friendly and helpful. This will be my pit stop before my Costco runs! read more

I used to be a starbucks/dunkin donuts kinda gal until I woke up and realized that local coffee shops make coffee 1000% better. Yes, I've lived under a rock. SO, I've just been exploring and trying out all these cafes and I am so happy to have found and tried this shop because I know for a fact that I am going to be a regular. First off, it's super cute inside, it's tiny with one bench in the middle and a long table. I went in when the owner was there and he was very nice, very informative, and just gave off this welcoming aura that I always hope for when trying new businesses. He told us all about their coffee, and whats popular, even gave recommendations. I had the manzi that everyone talks about, my fiancé had the nitro coffee. Both taste amazing. They've just gained a regular customer in me. The gf and I had some time to kill before we were going to catch a movie at the nearby amc, so we decided to visit this quaint coffee joint to get our evening quota of warm drinks. I got a pour over, she got a hot chocolate, and both were delicious. They have a large collection of roasts that is cycled frequently, so there's every chance you'll find one you like. The place was empty, so we ended up chatting with Mr. Supekar, the very nice and personable owner. He told about how he took a risk in opening a coffee roaster without any prior experience in the industry, his learning process and how he loves what he does. He showed us different kinds of unroasted beans and explained what kind of processing brings in what flavor after roasting. This guy really knows his coffee, and doesn't have a snobby attitude at all that people tend to have about coffee. If coffee is your thing and you live around the Clifton, JC etc area, do go there! I'll come back for sure to buy a bag or two of beans once my stash finishes. They even hold coffee tastings periodically, and send out notifications for which you can sign up for. In a land of chains and franchises, Köffeewagon is a welcome and refreshing oasis. I was in the area and needed caffeination so I looked on Yelp and this place was the highest rated place nearest to me. I just wanted a very good cup of coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the number of options. In addition to your usual espresso drink and teas, they have 9 in-house options (including decaf). You tell the barista which variety you want and they grind it and do a pour over and you have this super fresh cup of great coffee. There's a big hand-hewn table in the middle of the place with stools, which promotes chatting with other customers. There's rough wood art on the walls. I only came in for this cup of coffee and ended up chatting with another customer at the table and another customer who walked in and overheard our conversation and joined in. I hope I'll be back in the area so I can come by again. read more

This is my local spot for coffee and I am so glad that I live only a few minutes away. The owners are always there and always working hard. Their coffee selection is wide and they have a range of different roasts (all delicious). They try to adhere to the "shop local" mentality and have art and goodies in their shop from around the state/area. They will grind the bean fresh for you to whatever size grind you want! I always get the Americano or the Kold Brew and my SO gets the double eyed manzi (espresso + dark hot chocolate). We love this place! read more

Great little privately owned coffee shop. All beans are roasted in house and come from around the world. The staff is great , as were the customers while we engaged in conversation while our coffees were individually drip brewed. After my first experience I ended up coming back less then 24 hrs later if that helps with how I thought it was haha. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the iced coffee on draft and the "avocado smash" sandwich! 5/20: Tried the Nitro Kold Brew ..... Damnnn good ! I was in luck last night as I was able to attend the Koffewagon Roasters Elite event! Koffeewagon is right off of route 17S, and if you're zooming by you might miss it, but trust me, this is not a koffee shop you want to miss out on. I was able to sample the coconut coffee and some waffles and both were exquisite. You can tell simply by tasting the products that the owners are passionate about what they are doing. The waffles reminded me of the breakfasts my mother would cook for me in the morning and the coffee was super smooth and delicious. I don't even drink coffee all that often, but Koffeewagon will I'm sure turn me into a regular. I also had a chance to see how the coffee was processed. Bruce was very nice and did a great job of explaining everything. I can't wait to go back and bring friends! read more

I moved to the area recently. My friend Jorge and I walked down from my place in the snow today, because he was off, and I had a snow day too and the reviews were so great. Now we know why. The place is beautiful. There's a big natural wood table with stools on 3 sides in the middle. They had put fresh flowers and newspapers out. It has very much a "gathering place" feel. The owner, Pat, and his son, Aarav, were so friendly and knowledgeable. There's a huge, gorgeous, forest green, coffee bean roaster and an oven for a couple pastries they make in-house, and a very clean, open kitchen. There is a floor-to-ceiling chalkboard with a dozen-ish coffee beans to choose from. They hand-pour the hot water through individual filters and grinds. It's an art. They served samples of their cold-brew coffee. All of their little sweet snacks and pastries were from local businesses (in New Jersey or New York). The selling point for us: when we first got there, they invited my friend Jorge in. He had his dog with him and was out waiting for me in the snow. Pat said "Bring your dog in! My customers love dogs." And they did! We were there from about 9:15 to 10 o'clock, and about 12-15 people walked through (all men, Ladies!!), all seemingly having a pre-existing relationship with the owner, and all (but one) falling in love with Jorge's dog. Also, to see the interaction between son and father was really quite beautiful. It was apparent that they have a lot of respect for each other. The music was great. Very Indie rock (the owner's Google playlist). I thought it was 90.7, WFUV. Overall, it was a really great experience. I'm not a coffee snob but I will happily walk down the street to visit again, and often. read more

Excellent coffee shop. These people are serious about their coffee. They have best selections on coffee from Ethiopia, Latin America all the way to South East Asia. They even have Balinese coffee. You know how far that is? That's a 21 hrs non-stop airplane ride. The offering of food is limited but whatever they offer tastes DELICIOUS. Did I say delicious? They have beer cookies for all you beer lovers out there. They have Banana Chocolate Muffin/Cake and couple other bars. I am so pleased to have found this place. Definitely WAY better than Starbucks in terms of taste and price. Star Crocks, if you do happen to read this post, please learn from them. Don't cheat your customers by mixing in only 7% of the real coffee bean and call it Sumatran coffee. I've been to Sumatra and the coffee doesn't taste like Starbuck's Sumatran coffee. KUDOS to the team at Koffeewagon. The only cons, I wish they had more tables so I can bring my laptop and work there. read more

Fantastic Koffee, ups I mean coffee, I ordered a 16oz cup of coffee to go. Here's what happened: I get to pick what kind of coffee I want from the board, then the coffee beans are being grounded on the spot, and then the coffee is brewed with a pour over style. Now a cup of coffee in my hand back to the office smiling, and that was a blue moon of Bali, tasted solid and fresh. That was my first time there because this morning I missed a turn to starbucks a few feet over, and I know this place will be my new regular stop. Great coffee you guys! read more

Good vibes for a place on Route 17 South in Hasbrouck Heights. I've passed this a million times and after Mic voted it as the best coffee place in all of NJ I went the next afternoon. Lots of selection and each cup is individually ground and drip brewed. So it should taste out of this world, right? Sadly it didn't hit the right notes for me with a macchiato. Missus also had a coffee that was off the bullseye. I'm going to try it again when I'm in the neighborhood but I won't drive out of my way. read more

This place was a delightful find! And they take their coffee seriously! The owner was very friendly and was informative about the different types of coffee they offer and gave us samples to try before we decided on what to order. -coconut iced coffee: so aromatic and delicious in and of itself! I love black coffee and this one definitely had such a natural coconut flavor infused into it that was unlike anything artificially coconut flavored -nitro cold brew: my! My! I've had nitro cold brew before but not like this. This one had a deep creamy (without actual cream in it) taste that oozed out from the nitrogen. So good! -manzi: On the daily, i normally stick to black coffee because it's clean and I crave the bitter taste but occasionally I order a latte when I'm craving a sugar kick. This one was perfect! I absolutely hate when my latte is too sweet. Whenever I get a latte anywhere else, I usually ask for less/half sweet. This manzi latte was just the right hint of sweet. Might not be sweet enough if you're a big sweet tooth but it was perfect for me. I also loved that there are small chunks of chocolate so it adds extra flavor as you crumble it in your mouth.
