Fantastic little spot for breakfast. We had the French toast stuffed with Nutella. It was better than I could have ever imagined. Three layers of French toast with two layers of Nutella. It was hot and fresh and absolutely delicious. The Nutella wasn't too overpowering - it was just right. The plate was also huge; my boyfriend and I split it and didn't finish it. We also split a toasted plain bagel with cream cheese and it was great as well. Service was excellent too. I always wondered why the business name changed, but that it was still the similar business. Before, I came in here with friends from out of town and heard from the waitresses how they found tourists that came in here so annoying. That was Bagel Bar. For Roasters 'n toasters, it's been my 2nd time here and no mention of that here in the new business. A bit too pricey on the side, so I went with the simple choice. But once I received my order, there was no disappointment. The bacon was nice and crunchy, went really well with the sunny side up eggs. The bagels weren't jumbo ones, which I'm glad they weren't. They were the right, healthy sizes. The coffee was a bit too strong for me, though, and had to add some more Splenda's and half n half's. The waitress was a little too fast in picking up our orders but got them right at least. I think it was Janice who served us, and she seemed pretty nice to me. read more

Deli delight. North Miami Beach style! We are very particular about our deli tastings. And to that we always start with a fair and balanced same go to when trying different spots, and so nothing was different with Roasters N Toasters. The location might have been new, but I am a long time fan, going way back to the location in Pinecrest, when they were just a hole in the wall coffee shop. Since then, trying the location on the beach and now NMB, the quality stands alone. This new spot we tried on a Sunday, had all the favorites and then some. The place was clean and not too crowded for lunch time, which is great for us, but I hope they make up the business during the week, which makes sense based on location. We started here with our go to lox and bagel, but with a little bit of an appetite, decided to go a little crazy. We then also had some chub white fish and also some kipper salad salmon. Aside from that, we also had a bowl of matzo ball soup. Another go to for us at delis. We didn't stop there and my fiancé also had a meal ordered to go which for her was a go out in stuffed cabbage. I do not eat red meat so I will let her review that on her own. I have to say I was very happy with the service and speed everything came out from. The folks running the place were nice and friendly and that goes a long way. I would get some sort of egg late next time, and try other deli delights down the line. Goodness all around. read more

Tried this place for breakfast and the service was really great. Our waitress Terry was spot on and very attentive which was a huge plus given the morning rush. The decor inside features all NYC-inspired paintings of taxis, skylines, etc. Plus they have several TVs spread throughout the restaurant tuned into spots channels. Unlike a few other local delis/bagel shops in the area, the menu is a little less extensive, but it made choosing what to eat that much easier. I chose the turkey sausage with 2 eggs, home fries, and an everything bagel. (I always love when an everything bagel has all the "everything" goodness on BOTH sides of the bagel. So.good.) My boyfriend ordered a custom omelette and he enjoyed it. Normally at other restaurants he usually has a bit left over, but the portions here are a little less exaggerated. I used to go here often but they closed during the pandemic and slightly remodeled. When they reopened they advertise they are in Aventura, they are not but want to charge Aventura prices.the menu is now very limited and their prices are extremely high and not worth it. Its a deli counter and also sit down restaurant. I found this place in Yelp and saw a picture of the New Orleans benedict special. I had to pay a visit to try this crab meat filled, gooey eggs topped with shrimp breakfast concoction. It did not disappoint! My very polite server even warned about the size of this thing and yes..it was on the large size but I'm not complaining :) The only thing missing were bottomless mimosas which this place does not offer. But thats ok cause I was here strictly for the benedict. The place was clean and service was prompt. Next time I got to my barber at skylakes mall, i'll make sure to pay another visit. read more

I love places like this , where u can go every morning and have a coffee with anyone , food is is very yummy for the money you spend. The only problem I have is that they take forever to serve you and to refill your coffee. Tried this place out because a friend recommended it. Let me tell you, it was amazing. I ordered a customized omelete and they were very generous with the servings. Their plates are sharing size but you're going to want to get your own plate because they have so many options to choose from. I ordered online but when I got there I saw their carrot cake & ended up ordering one. It was delicious. I thought it was a bit pricey but once I took a bite I realized I got what I paid for. We both fell in love with their Split Pea Soup - we even ordered a quart to go it was so yummy. Service was so-so, I've had worse, and when we went they were pretty busy. Portions are big! So disappointed in our $30 breakfast for two. $2.25 for a coffee and the regular coffee is YUCK...we had to ask for a flavored one and that wasn't much better. I live in walking distance to this place, so it has been a go to bagel store and deli for me. The bagels are average to small, and except for the one Asian lady at the cash register, no one is pleasant - and some of the staff are downright awful. I've seen numerous quarrels behind the counter, I've seen them be rude to each other --- and yesterday, one of them was rude to me. Cracked a joke about me behind my back to another worker thinking I didn't hear him. Can you believe that? Bottom line - a restaurant or deli is a SERVICE BASED business, and my belief is that if a restaurant worker would have the nerve to be rude to me - a quiet, regular, long term customer - he might have the nerve to not give me the best cut of food, or give me a dirty container, or - I don't know. My wife introduced me to this place after a coworker took her here for lunch. Well let me first start by saying I love the decor of the place as it is nice homie contemporary and inviting. The servers were very friendly and efficient. If you enjoy coleslaw and pickle please ask your server for an order of coleslaw and pickles which are complimentary. The coleslaw was a standout very nice balance of sweet and and a very mild tang associated with good coleslaw. Bagels have no crust...bialy tasted like a plain bagel with a bit of onion in the middle. If you guys make your own bagels, then you can do better. Having tried the one in South Miami, as well as having been a regular at the bagel bar, I made a promise not to go near this place. Times change and yelp gave me hope, so I figured, what the he//. I ordered my deli usual, everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and a side of tuna salad, and got a bagel for my friend with cream cheese and tomato. To my surprise it tasted very good. The everything bagel was full of flavor and the tuna salad wasn't fishy at all; it was just how I like it. I regret having stayed away for so long, and especially for such stupid reasons. Sat down and waited 10 minutes for someone to greet us and take our order. I after waiting for another 5 minutes i had to remind another waiter about the coffee. They brought that. Then we waited another 20 minutes only to find out that our waiter never put in our order. She came over apologized and said the cooks are putting it on now. This is a quantity over quality place. I lived in NJ 25 years (the diner capital) and also went to plenty NYC delis and diners, and this falls very short. Pay a lot to get a lot. The menu is confusing. The omlettes are NOT the "fluffiest" in town. A good diner is Lester's in Fort Lauderdale. They are a true diner, with classic diner meals and plenty of options serve by the traditional diner old ladies who call you sweetheart. If you have any taste and class you should avoid this place.
