I got the BW Black Coffee, and it is absolutely amazing! The coffee is strong and high quality but very smooth and the sea salt foam it comes with is a perfect amount of sweet while still letting a good bold coffee flavor come through. The store is really tiny, kinda like a grab and go place. Staffs were all really nice and attentive. We order the green tea macchiato and green tea half sugar. I would suggest to order all drinks 1/4 sugar because the drinks we got are super sweet in my opinion but if you like sweet drinks then yes this place make their drinks pack with sugar! I like this place because it's probably the only juice, boba, coffee and tea place that opens early. Every other drink place I know all opens at 11am or 12pm. The lemonade is a little sweet for me probably because I don't like sweet drinks. So I always ask for less sugar. Definitely try Guava Tea, White Peach Tea and Royal Mango. Love the Avocuddle Buddy, Nutty Banana and Peach Raspberry. I like basil seeds in mine. The Cafe Sua Da is good as well as Caramel Macchiato. I love their reusable bottle. Came in before a concert on a Friday night. Went inside at 6:49pm. Came out at 6:56pm. It was quick, but she charged the drink incorrectly and tried to justify it a different way. We've been coming here for years, and they didn't change it, so I'm sure she was wrong. My cup was deformed. Luckily, the bottle still closed properly, and I liked the inside ice stopper part. There's no seal in the lid, but that didn't seem to be a problem with this bottle. I've had issues with some of their other bottles leaking. We'll be back, but we're definitely going to make sure it's charged properly before proceeding. I also wish there was a recycling bottle program. Maybe something to look into. read more

There is a reason why this boba spot has so many stores with so many good reviews! I've been to three of their locations and none of them have disappointed! If you've never visited before, the must-trys are as follows: 1. RW Coffee - If it is the right time of day, where caffeine won't mess with your sleep - this coffee is a MUST! I can only have coffee in the morning, but trust me when I say if I find myself near a RW before 12pm, this is my go-to! 2. Fruit teas - If you don't want any caffeine, opt for one of the fruit teas. My favorites are the Strawberry Kiss and Lychee! I've tried a bunch of them and honestly, you can't go wrong going with your favorite fruit flavor 3. If you need a little bit of caffeine like I did today, I go for the milk teas. My favorites are the almond milk green tea and the jasmine milk tea! Both really yummy with the boba, but if you're trying to be good...try the basil seed! (just check your teeth afterwards ..lol) For this location, there is no public restroom and no indoor or outdoor seating. I used to frequent Roasting Water's back in High School because of their cute glasses they'd put their drinks in. I haven't been back to Roasting Water's since then until today (it's been like almost 10 years wow). I recently moved a couple blocks away and would always pass by on my way to work. Today, I decided that I'd grab a couple bottles for me and my friends in the morning! and WOW I am so glad that I decided to come back here after all that time because their quality of drinks is still amazing. I asked the person taking my order what they'd recommend out of all the smoothies, and they told me that the Strawberry Blonde is their most popular. When I used to come here I'd order only their teas because I don't really have that big of a sweet tooth but today I wanted to try something different! So, I ordered the Strawberry Blonde, Lots of Lychee, and Sunburst. What I really like about their smoothies is that there's actually dairy (in some of them) so when I'm drinking my drink, it doesn't become just ice with no flavor towards the end. The Strawberry Blonde was so good! It wasn't overly sweet, and the mango bits were so yummy. It was so good that I had to come back a couple hours later just to grab some for my husband and his friend. This time, we got the Strawberry Blonde again hehe, Canary, and Heavenly Kiss. All the drinks were so good :-'). Also, I just have so much fun even waiting for the drinks. I like their Jasmine Milk Tea. Add some sea salt cream and call it a day. I wish their sea salt cream was a little bit more creamy but it goes well with the Jasmine Milk Tea. Usually I'm too stubborn to throw away partially drank drinks because I don't want to wast money, but my drink went straight into the trash after a few sips. Maybe my expectations were just too high? I'm not sure but this place was not worth it for me. I've had Roasting Water on my bookmarks for years, just never had a chance to try it. They have such cute bottles, who wouldn't want to try it. However when I arrived, they didn't have the cute bottles, which is not a big deal really. The ambience is super cute and they have a bunch of little things like plushies, water bottles, just extra stuff you can buy. I ordered the Oolong milk tea. I know they're more known for fruit or iced teas but I was craving oolong and the previous reviews about oolong milk tea were positive. However, my "oolong milk tea" honestly just tasted like watered down sweetened condensed milk. It was disgusting. There was no oolong flavor at all. I've never ordered any milk tea at any place that lacked so much flavor. I'm sad I wasted money on a drink that was not good. But I do still want to come back and try other drinks. Hopefully what I ordered was just a dud and other drinks will be better. At least the service was really nice, hence the 2 stars. read more

Worst Customer Service EVER!! I came to the store today (at 1:30PM) because my wife was craving her usual drink. There were about 2-3 customers standing around waiting for their drinks. I was at the cashier waiting for about 15 minutes and still no one came out to take my order. I can see from the cloth dividers that there were four high school boys working in the back. They were casually talking to each other and working on the drinks. I called out to them to ask if the store was opened. Without coming out to talk to me, they yelled back that they were and that they were making drinks for a big order. I called my wife after that to see if she would be okay if I go down the street to get Ding Tea instead. I left without seeing anyone coming out to at least apologize or meet me in person. I don't understand why it was so hard to have one person stand and work the front while the others work in the back. Especially, when you have out other merchandise to make ends meet. Someone could easily take the items with this lack of supervision. Roasting Waters has been a dying brand with so many competitions around and yet they fail to even try to even save those that have been loyal to them over the years. My wife is one of them until today. I hope this review would reach management to ensure changes to help those customers that still come back feel appreciated. This location is pretty tucked away and the epitome of a hidden gem! I was in the area and have heard great things about Roasting Water, so decided to stop by with a few friends. It's a small shop filled with cute knick-knacks for sale, so there's no indoor seating. They were also understaffed and apologized for the wait, but I didn't mind much since there was a lot of items to browse. They have an extensive and creative menu, which I really liked. I ordered the Attraction, which was a bit on the sweet side but the fresh fruit bits were delicious. Definitely would love to come back and try out their other drinks! Came from the Bay area looking for a unique and delicious boba. Passed by the area and found this interesting boba shop. Best decision ever! First impression is the front entrance that's fill with cute plushies. Then I was greeted with a friendly smile from a boba barista. The promotional items are very cute. Yes I came for the bottle! Don't judge me. We were in the area and I wanted Boba before we headed home. I had this spot saved. This location was much smaller than I had anticipated. It's a little hallway and you are surrounded by merchandise then the cashier at the front. Not the friendliest service but it worth trying. They only one bottle available and the bottles are no longer glass. It's a plastic bottle. The thai tea was good I didn't like the bottle but it's what they had. I was tempted to get a sailor moon water bottle instead but it was pricey. Left a bit disappointed but at least I can check it off my to try list. read more

I found this place as I looked at restaurants and juice bars along my route from the airport to downtown Long Beach CA and the name made me curious. When I read the reviews and looked at the menu I decided I wanted to visit and get a drink and a cute little water bottle. I visited on a Sunday morning around 10 am and was pleasantly surprised. The store is a small but cutely decorated store in a little outdoor strip mall. They had some good music playing and the service was good. I ended up getting a lemonade with peaches and aloe honey. And I got a frozen drink with strawberries. They were soooo good!!! And I got cute water bottles to take and reuse. I want to return to the store and try more of the delicious drinks. Love their Avocado drink, the Avocado Buddy! Very creamy and not too sweet. It's the perfect drink when you're craving something different from a typical milk tea. I can also drink this late at night without worrying about the caffeine. Their boba is always perfectly chewy and again not too sweet. This is their original location so the inside is a bit smaller. First time visiting this RW location- 3.4 Stars for bad service, zero ambiance/decor, but 5 stars for the drinks & pretty bottles! We usually go to the other locations in Garden Grove or Long Beach so I'm comparing this one to the others. So just FYI this one is TINY compared to the others. It's in a small shopping center but there was plenty of parking. Walking up we were greeted with a paint-chipped Rilakkuma mural and a tiny table and chairs. Before we opened the door you could hear music blasting from inside- like SO loud it was actually obnoxious. I thought as soon as we walked in the guy working would turn it down but NO. Looking around I noticed the only thing on the wall was one wire shelf and nothing else. I'm assuming they are in the process of re-painting/decorating, but the bare walls and blaring music made me want to get out ASAP. I'd seen a promo on Instagram about a free metal straw set with purchase of a smoothie. Right next to the register they had a sign also advertising the same promo but also had a list of about 6-7 smoothie varieties that were unavailable to order... just looked really tacky to push smoothies for a giveaway and then have so many taken off the menu. Anywho, I go to order and literally had to repeat it about 3 times because the music was SO loud! It was almost comical~ there was only one guy working that I could see so maybe he has a hearing problem??? After we ordered we decided to wait outside because of it & the people who walked in after us also questioned why the noise level was off the charts. Someone must have said something because when we went back in to pick up the drinks he'd turned it down. We took them and left immediately. Beautiful bottles and smoothies were yummy! I absolutely love coming here! I've been coming here since 2019 and their menu is still the same ! Service is fast and friendly and the drinks are so yummy! My favorite is the mocha frappe but honestly all the drinks listed in the chocolate section is good! They sell plushies here, thermals, tea sets, snack boxes and so much more. And the drinks have always come in a decorative reusable water bottle with lid! After witnessing years and years of friends visiting Roasting Water in SoCal for their iconic take-home reusable water bottles, I finally was able to visit one of the storefronts during my trip to SoCal. My partner had wanted to take me here after seeing posts of the Sumikko Gurashi bottles designs they had on Yelp and IG; however, he didn't realize that they had already moved passed the Sumikko Gurashi designs months earlier *eternal crying* I'll catch the Sumikko designs next time around :') For those of you interested in the bottles at RW, it seems like Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) is basking in the limelight at the moment, so visit RW if you wanna come home with a Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, or Zenitsu on your bottle :p Anyways, time for the drinks! I got a strawberry fruity drink while my partner got some kind of lychee drink. I regret not writing down the names at the time I had ordered the drinks, but I think you should be able to narrow it down from the photos provided below. According to my memory, drinks could not be adjusted in sweetness, but ice levels were okay to adjust. I liked that my strawberry drink also had actual bits of strawberry in it, as well as chewy good boba! Seems like SoCal people don't mess around with their boba! As far as the lychee drink, it was also tasty too! It was nice to see actual bits of lychee inside the drink too, so you know their drinks are legit! In regards to the drinks themselves, they weren't anything out of this world or unique in taste. You could, more or less, find the drinks we got at another store. Other than being bummed about the Sumikko Gurashi designs, I don't know if there was anything cool about the drinks other than the reusable bottles. Oh! I thought it was cool that we also got stickers in addition to our drink! It appears that most of the designs on the Kimetsu no Yaiba collection are fan based art. Most likely not to infringe on copyright and licensing. What I did like about the shop that made it unique was the numerous plushies and pottery pieces you could purchase! It made the store seem really unique and very decorated! Since their drinks were packed in Kimetsu no Yaiba designed bottles, it looked like the store had merchandise regarding the anime for customers to purchase! Pretty neat if I don't say so myself!
