    Stylish as always.

Service always begins at the door with "welcome" in Japanese. Smiling faces and cheerful employees moving to assist their Guests. I elected to sit at the Sushi bar as I was alone. I saw the delicious fresh presentation of the lunch special at the entryway and knew it was for me. So I ordered one for now and take out for my wife for later. My order came to me within 10 minutes. Before I began I took in visually how fresh and colorful it all looked, and appreciated the eye appeal. I was ready for it all. I had the Teriyaki chicken, and tempura mix. It came with Japanese salad, and white miso soup. Also it came with pickled vegetables, a large scoop of rice, and dipping sauces. The food was good and it's what I expected, but I really had a nice surprise with their tempura. It was light crispy and not overladen with residual oil. The flavor of the prawns came through the flavor of the other vegetables came through, but my surprise was the perfect cooking of the broccoli tips in tempura batter.. I know from home cooking broccoli can be tricky because it does have a specific smell to it and sometimes it can be better but this was perfect and the texture was so delicious. I really enjoyed it. I look around the place just before I left one last time for the day and it has a nice appearance of comfortable energy to the room. It's not too dark not too bright it's definitely comfortable and everyone is well taken care of everywhere I looked. It looked very clean And slightly handicapped I was very happy that everything was accessible to me. I will come back again. My thank you to the young lady that greeted me coming in and into the chefs behind the counter, and my waiter who is very attentive.

Found this place through friends years ago and it was good to go back. The staff are friendly and the food is good at reasonable prices. I highly recommend the grilled yellow tail collar. It's hamachi Yaka. This was so good with buttery meat just delicious. We are still talking about it days later. The tempura was standard. I like the variety of vegetables like broccoli, bell peppers, green beans and squashes. Good shrimp too. The hella roll was very good with asparagus. Overall it's a good Japanese place with sushi. In recent years the ownership has changed but the people working there are the same.

Roboto is good. It's much nicer inside than you would expect. Their fish is fresh and it's overall a pretty good deal. I haven't gotten food from here in a while but we were present pleasantly surprised this evening. It was all tasty. We need to go back more often.

Very disappointing all around. The deluxe miso was thin and flavorless. Softshell crab was overcooked to the point of charring.

We had dogs with us so we were waiting to be sat outside, the server made eye contact from inside, but only came to greet us after we waited a few minutes and finally called out to her from the doorway. After being seated and given menus, we waited another 10 min with no service, and I decided to walk in and wash my hands. On my way out of the restroom, the server was finishing chatting with the only customer inside of the restaurant. I asked if we could have some water brought to the table, and she nodded. 5 min or so after I asked her for the water, the customer who was inside was walking out, and we chatted for a bit. Come to find out the sushi chefs and kitchen staff were not available due to the traffic on the freeway. I was in the same traffic, and I knew it was really bad. That was not the issue. The server never came out to our table. She never told us what was going on. We were left hanging for almost 20 min with zero contact, other than dropping the menus, and requesting waters that we never recieved. At an empty restaurant. There was no notice posted out front, there was nothing said from the server. If I was stopping in during a lunch break, I would not have been able to dine elsewhere due to the time I wasted sitting at this place waiting for service. All it took was for the server to let us know the situation and I would have tried to come back some other time. There were 20 full minutes - plenty of opportunity - to make best of a bad situation, and none were taken. Absolutely unacceptable.

The restaurant doesn't allow modifications, which was one reason we waited until now to try, since both of us have food allergies. The soft shell crab was delicious and the ocean was very good. The outside patio will be our next destination. Everyone was very nice and friendly. We're looking forward to trying a meal in the patio soon.

We thought okay, good time to try different dishes. After a forty minute wait, we reminded our server of our order. We could see how much was going on but other tables who had come after us had been served. She apologized profusely. She had forgotten to enter our order. We waited some more and I finally asked her if we could be served something quick to prepare like the tea leaf salad. This came. Delicious as always. We asked that the rest of our order be comped and this was granted. When our order came, the hoisin ribs were outstanding; the mushroom medley garlic noodles were missing the mushrooms; the green bean shrimp stir fry had tough inedible green beans. We left all the green beans and the rice which was dry and compacted, not fluffy at all. This is not at all the usual high caliber of cooking you normally get at Burmatown. Lesson learned. Remind the server sooner. We were one of the earlier tables and finished as the second to the last table at lunch service. We will be back for the outstanding hoisin ribs, the mushroom noodles and of course, the terrific chicken pumpkin curry which is normally available.

I really enjoyed the thoughtfully curated omakase menu arrangement. A standout highlight for me was the tender baby ginger sourced from Hawaii and marinated fresh in-house--I've never had anything like it anywhere else! The chef was engaging and informative, explaining each course so you know the exact origin of the ingredients and how they were expertly prepped. The final dessert course was way beyond my expectations: the slightly warm, chewy green tea mochi paired with the creamy vanilla gelato was an absolute match made in heaven. My sole, minor complaint is that they charge extra for tea. For a high-end omakase experience at this price point, it really should include complimentary tea to provide a seamless, complete meal.

They also had some more interesting creations, like the sesame salmon with lemon cream, which was a fun change from the more traditional pieces. The highlight for me was a dish prepared by the kitchen that had a piece of fish lightly fried in potato starch and served in a seaweed and vinegar broth. That was probably the most surprising dish of the meal and one of my favorites since the different flavors were subtle and worked well together. They also had fresh wasabi, which was a nice touch. The chawanmushi didn't have quite the smooth, pudding-like texture I was expecting, but the flavors were really good. The mushrooms, ikura, and subtle hit of yuzu worked really well together. Super popular spot with lots of seating and different seating options, and pretty much everything was full when we went.
