Dr. Schreiman was assigned as my primary care provider, and several medical issues were identified for which work-up was initiated. His office was incompetent in requesting the correct type of procedure and even hung-up on me because of their frustration. I myself am a medical doctor and therefore explained to his PA (Michele Burns) how best to navigate the insurance request/approval process. She was very resistant until I advocated for my personal health and insisted that she discuss this, along with my recommendation, with her Dr Schreiman. After doing so, the diagnostic study was seamlessly scheduled. However, their medical group "disenrolled" me from the practice WITHOUT NOTIFICATION and also REVOKED my pre-approved referrals to subspecialists that I needed to follow up with. This is unethical professional conduct and malpractice resulting in a delay in diagnosis and care. read more

I normally don't write anything negative but The doctor and staff is the most incompetent and unprofessional . I chose this doctor as my primary as the insurance said it's the closest to my place but when I contacted the doctor office they said they don't use that office( closer to my place ) anymore . Cutting short, the staff takes almost over two hour to book my appointment ,I said I have to see him asap and they gave me a time after 7 weeks and that too in clinic which is 30 miles away . Yet I went too see the doctor after 7 weeks at 10 am in morning and bearing the pain and reached the place and found there is no parking and I had to pay 6$ to park my car in nearest paid parking and when I reached the office they said you are 10 mins late and you have to reschedule the appointment when I could see that the whole clinic is empty and there is no patient . They just said sorry the grace period is 5 mins . I told them that I waited for 7 weeks for this appointment and could t find parking yet no courtesy . Seriously how come doctor office be so uncourteous and how come insurance allow doctors to falsely present offices to get new patients yet luring them in . Stay Away from this Health Center and Dr. Schreiman!!! Terrible service and very unreasonable staff. I took my mom to see Dr. Robert Schreiman, with an appointment and the staff said "you are 2 minutes late" and she canceled the appointment. There was absolutely no one in the waiting room, No Patient at all! yet the front desk staff canceled the appointment. We waited for this appointment over a month and half and they didn't let us see the doctor. I don't know if this doctor is aware of the way his staff treats the patients. I assume he does as the staff said the doctor won't see us. If so SHAME ON THIS DOCTOR! My mom is 78 years old and needed to be seen. I have never seen a poor service like this that just for 2 minutes delay, the appointment gets canceled while there was NO other patient in the waiting room and my mom was in pain. The name of the business is Orange County Senior Care but he doesn't only work with seniors! I've been seeing Dr Schreiman for many years. He's very comforting and *funny*. More like a friend than your doctor. It's weird to look forward to seeing your doctor, but that's how I feel when I need to make an appointment. He's very understanding and helpful. Personable but incompetent? Diagnosed my daughters pulmonary embolisms as a "muscle strain". Told her to take Ibuprofen and rest". When asked directly if it could be blood clots/pulmonary embolism he stated "she wouldn't be standing here if she had blood clots. She would be dead." Returned a few days later with persistent symptoms - same diagnosis. Called the next day to ask for a referral to a pulmonologist. Dr. Schreiman stated he had to see her again before he could provide a referral, but couldn't make the time to see her for two days. We decided not to waste any more of our time with Dr. Schreiman. The highly competent doctors at UC Irvine Medical Center Emergency Room confirmed our daughter had "extensive" pulmonary embolisms in both lungs and every vein in her abdomen down into her groin (some clots the size of breakfast sausages). Thanks to UC Irvine she is alive and recovering. read more

Dr. Schreiman has been my private practice physicians for over 5 years. I almost hesitate to write this review although it is well deserved but I'm afraid that so many people will read these reviews and then I will not be able to get appointments with Dr. Schreiman anymore. That being said, Dr Schreiman is the best there is. He is a truly caring and concerned doctor. He goes the extra mile for you and listens.... not just your usual 15 minutes of "face time." He does the kind of listening where he is asking you questions and taking notes kind of listening. So many doctors out there are in such a hurry to push as many patients through the office as possible. You will not find that here. If you happened to go to the ER over a weekend or you don't bother to let him know....you can be sure come Monday that you will be getting a phone call from him wanting to know what's going on, how you are and why you or a family member didn't call him to let him know. Dr. Schreiman is a caring and loving doctor. He loves his Seniors. He is so kind to my Mom, who is 91 and has dementia and very hard of hearing. He visits her once a month at her Memory Care Living Facility. He believes it is best to see one's patients frequently and he gets a better feel for how they are doing. Dr. is very busy to spend time with his patients. He will never talk with you over the phone! So if you need any immediate communications you are out of luck! Neither he nor his office staff understands the pain that the patient undergoes. I have never written this kind of negative review before. I would not recommend this doctor. I called and asked if the doctor could see my father with Alzheimers in his facility as it had become too difficult for me to take him to the doctor. I asked that I be informed of when he went to see him. I was never told he did, just got a bill,,, and another and another after he was on hospice. I wrote a letter and expressed my opinion and dismay and merely got a past due notice. What did he do? tell my father he had alzheimers??? Not happy at all with this service! read more

I'm giving him a 5 star for personality and in office results. He was attentive, thorough and he knew his stuff. I give his office 5 stars for getting me an appointment pretty quickly. I give them 1-2 stars for follow up to my lab work. Cat scan and blood work results take about 2 days to be sent to the dr. It's been 8 days and I've been trying to call them for results but all I get is their auto answering service that has me leave my name and number and a promise that somebody will contact me within 24 hours. My pain started to flare up yesterday because no actual action has taken place to my original office visit symptoms, now 10 days after the original call for the appointment. I gave Dr Schreiman a call through his answering service (since he's on call today-Sunday) which paged him at 11am with my request to call me back so I can find out if my results warranted any kind of antibiotics or other treatment since I'm now feeling more pain. It's now 6pm and I still haven't received a call. I've called his answering service and told them to tell him to call me back again and to add this time that I'm really not happy with his non-response since he appointed himself as his own on call emergency doctor and he's falling short on that duty. I've only been to him once, but so far my experience with him and his staff fall way short of the reviews here. It's a shame. Was hoping he'd be a good find. I'll give him maybe another chance but the way his office phone is set up with no live person to speak to, it's already looking bad. read more
