First of all...I made my final decision to select Robert Fischer Plumbing after reading their great reviews on YELP! Mark (owner) sent two technicians out to evaluate the work that was needed to install a Smart Water Monitor and Shutoff device and sent an estimate within a day. Mark sent Josh (the BEST plumber in OC) to do the installation. He had to reroute water pipes and did and incredible job. Outrageous service fee! And we've used them (neighbors) for 30 years. Will never call them again. $325 to change a kitchen faucet! The guy was here 30 minutes =$10.88 a minute! We supplied the faucet and cleaned out under sink, etc. The service guy said it'd be around $200. read more

Was recommended Robert Fischer Plumbing by our electrician Anthony (All Thingz Electric). Robert returned our call from the answering service next day (we call on a Sunday as a non-emergency.) He scheduled us to come out on Monday. We had a service line leak that required the old line to be replaced. George was our technician, he we very nice, got straight to work. They ended up needing to schedule the full line replacement for Wednesday that week. On Wednesday, they showed up promptly, dug their trench, and had everything done in about 4hrs. They did a great job at minimizing the grass damage, they salvaged the dug up sections. We did have one hiccup/misunderstanding with the billing, but Mark quickly returned my call and resolved the issue without any headache. I hope that we do not need a plumber again soon, but I would gladly have George come out if we needed. read more

Extremely disappointed with Robert Fischer's lack of professionalism and price gouging. I called to have someone check to see if I had a slab leak. Their dispatcher did not mention a cost associated with having them check for a leak. I assumed that after they checked the house, they would charge me based on any work to be done, but not for the review itself. They came to the house, did a visual inspection for 30 minutes, and did not touch any plumbing. It came as a surprise to me when a few days later I received an invoice for $375. There are so many plumbers in the area, ask yourself why you would waste your time with people who price gouge their customers, especially someone who was actually planning to do a much bigger scope of plumbing work. If you do need to work with Robert Fischer, absolutely make sure to get any costs from them in writing before they step on your property. read more
