The other shop gave me weird vibes, so I decided to give Elson's a try since everyone in the reviews had nothing but positive things to say. I emailed them in the morning and decided to call as well to check if they take walk-in repairs. The person I spoke with happened to be the owner's brother and they said yes, just come on down--so I did just that! I was welcomed in by Elson Jr., the owner's brother and person I spoke with on the phone, and he told me they could repair the chain for $50 and get it done in about 30 minutes. Good deal in my opinion! So I waited in the store and not even 15 minutes later, the chain was repaired *AND* Elson said they cleaned it! Highly, highly recommend these guys for jewelry repairs if you live near ʻAiea or even if you can drive in from elsewhere on Oʻahu.
